Getting up at 4:30 sounds tedious but it really pays off: We were the first visitors to My Son Sanctuary. It feels like you are discovering the place all for yourself... Enough time to deliberate over perspective and scenes and picture setup without waiting for the right moment because of somebody stumbling into your focus. Our guide Mr Li did know the history of My Son very well and provided a lot of information. He was always helpful, very friendly and eager to point us to the most interesting details and explained meaning and historical background. We enjoyed the tour very much and can recommend for every photo aficionado who likes to experience a serene morning visit to My Son!

This trip was excellent! Our guide Mr Le was extremely knowledgeable, and we learnt so much from him about the history of My Son and the Cham culture. It was a great way to see My Son, and going on the sunrise tour meant that we avoided all the crowds later on in the day. Andy was great organising the tour. We had an incredible morning. Our guide and our driver were absolutely amazing and the site is really beautiful.

We had booked the sunrise tour but unfortunately it was raining all week. Due to the had weather, we had the place all to ourselves. Really wonderful guide. Comfortable transport. Water provided. Knowledgeable. Took great care of us. Excellent trip. Would do again

This was a great tour for us. Andy communicated with us through WhatsApp and had everything arranged. Can picked us up at our hotel and our guide Ken took us through My Son in addition to giving us a detailed explanation of how war has shaped the history of Vietnam—up through his own experience interpreting for the US military and being imprisoned by the North Vietnam army once the US left. My Son is a beautiful site and a fascinating restoration project. The sunrise tour in October was perfect, as the place had only a handful of guests and we were able to explore away from any crowds.

Definitely do My Son on this tour! When we arrived there at 6am, there was only one other person at the whole site so it was peaceful and we could take some amazing photos with no other people in the background. It was also much cooler! The site itself is in a basin so the heat gets trapped in and it was already feeling a lot hotter by the time we left at 8am when the sun was higher, compared with 6am when we arrived. There were also a lot more people at the site by 8am too. Thanks to our guide, Mr Ty, we not only experienced My Son (pronounced Mee Soon) without the heat and crowds but learned a lot about the Cham people, Hinduism, the impact of the Vietnam war on the area, etc. Definitely recommend a knowledgeable guide like Mr Ty to fully understand what you’re looking at. He promptly picked us up at 5am and took great care of us, as did our driver Mr Thy.

A really interesting tour of My Son. It was literally just our group (3 people) and 2 other groups of 3 people there. Later in the day there are thousands of people in My Son, so choose a sunrise tour. The guide was very knowledgeble about the site and told us lots of things that were really interesting. I loved it! The tour guide was very kind and several times offered to take our pictures in front of the monuments. We left at 5 and were back at the hotel at 9.30 just in time for breakfast. :)

It was a wonderful trip. Mr Ken was so nice and explained everything so well. My Son is a very interesting place. The car arrived in time and there was much space inside. Thank you so much for this amazing experience!

10/10 recommend the sunrise tour of My Son! Our guide Tey (pronounced Tea) was super knowledgeable on the ruins and general area. We had the place essentially to ourselves and he captured great photos of the two of us.

Excellent all round! Andy and his team offer a fantastic service! We booked direct, which I recommend! The communication was excellent and I knew our tour guides details beforehand. The private tour is a must! We were picked up from our hotel in a nice clean Toyota SUV, with a great driver and tour guide. The driver was very safe on the roads and Mr Ken, our guide, was excellent. With a phenomenal personal history, Mr Ken is a walking encyclopaedia on the Vietnamese history, both relating to My Son and the country and it’s fascinating past. My Son itself is simply stunning! If you come to the Hoi An area, I would highly recommend Andy’s services!

100% recommend visiting for sunrise, we had the entire complex to ourselves and it was like a dream wandering around the ruins in the jungle in the early morning light. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, everything was perfect!

Andy himself picked us up on time it was an early start but definately worth it. On the way to My Son Andy gave us all the information regarding the history of the temples, we arrived 15mins early so had a coffee while we waited for it to open there were only 3 couples that meant we were able to get fabulous shots without other people in them. We were lucky enough to get the sunrise over the temple and Andy was a great photographer he walked around with us explaining everything. I highly recommend Andy he was professional a great guy and speaks very good English. Andy also organised our transfer the next day to Danang driver was also on time comfy airconditiong. All in all great value for money and a must do.

You definitely need a tour guide to visit “My Son”. Our tour guide Mr Cuong is very knowledgeable, he told us the history and philosophy about “The Chams”, and also the architectural wisdom about the temples. After the visit, Mr Cuong also invited us to join the new year lunch with his family. We had great time!

If you wish to see the sunrise, definitely go in summer! We are staying under a period of terrible weather but luckily no rain on the day. The guide Cuong is very knowledgable and told us a lot of information of Danang. Definitely a tour to join!

Andy picked us up from our hotel, drove us to My Son and was incredibly knowledgeable, very pleased to share his knowledge, experience and insight about the temples and the wider area. The sunrise tour was a great time to go, as we had the temples to ourselves and the weather was relatively mild.

Our private sunrise tour to My Son in February was terrific! Our guide was knowledgeable and made the experience very memorable. Perfect pace of the tour, interesting discussion of history of My Son and Vietnam overall, and lots of nice photo opportunities. Great driver and easy booking process as well.

This trip was fantastic! The driver and guide both arrived on time (early actually) and we got to My Son before it opened. Although it was a little rainy we were still able to get some good photos. Our guide Binh was very knowledgable and friendly. He was able to answer questions and appreciated when to stop talking and just allow us to view the area. I would highly recommend this trip

My Son is a beautiful place, the site is not very big, but the temples are full of details and history, our guide Mr.Binh was excellent, he gave us plenty of information about the site, and even helped us with photos advices of the best shots! I totally recommend the tour with AndyTours.

The tour (5-9am) was perfect - we were picked up in a nice car with a really friendly tour guide Mr Key and were the first ones to arrive at My Son! The tour was excellent, very interesting, we found out so much about the history of My Son that we would have otherwise not have known and we were taken to all the main places. I really love how we were encouraged to take pictures at each spot as by 8am it was already getting busy with tourists! Although we couldn't see sunrise because of the clouds, it was very beautiful with the mist and sun early in the morning. I would reccomend this tour to everyone. Thank you 😊😊
