I had the most fantastic experience. Sho was very knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining. I highly recommend both the company and Sho for anyone wanting to learn and experience Mumbai.

We had such a wonderful day with Sho. He couldn’t have been more accommodating and he showed us so many interesting cultural highlights of Mumbai. We especially loved the chaotic open air cricket, the famous chai walla and the delicious lunch! We definitely recommend this tour.

I was in Mumbai for a friend’s wedding and wanted to tour the city, so thought this would be a great way to explore given that I was solo. It ended up being an excellent experience as my tour guide Gurmit (Tiger) was super friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating when it came to what I was interested in seeing/learning about. The lunch was delicious (a local place, not somewhere touristy) which I appreciated. Additionally, I felt very comfortable on the tour (as it can be stressful when immersed in a new culture!) and I definitely got a much better sense of the city and surrounding environment. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting solo or with a group - I had an unforgettable experience. Also, shoutout to Gurmit for being a great personal photographer for a few hours :) Thank you!!

Where do I even begin! Such an amazing time getting to better understand the local ins and outs. From hopping on the local westernline train to experiencing the ferry crossing at Versova to Madh Island. Throughout the day I got to experience 16th century churches to 8th century caves dedicated to Shiva. Gurmit was awesome and helped navigate to new places that he also got to experienced for the first time. As always, lunch was amazing. Gurmit really made the day fun. He made it feel like we were just two people and not just a tour. I want to thank him for dedicating his time. Couldn’t have asked for anything better. I highly recommend this tour if you are visiting the Mumbai area.

We had a great time with our guide, Tiger, and our driver. They modified the tour to meet our need that we not be on tour for more than four hours; we certainly could have taken in more, but we had been on a cruise for two weeks and were pretty tired. In addition, we had taken a tour on the prior day through the cruise line. Still, they took us to some great places other than the ones we had seen on our prior tour (e.g. hanging gardens, Marine Drive), including the staging area for the vendors who distribute custom-ordered lunches to clients by bicycle, the incredible outdoor laundry market, the Portuguese fort on the beach, past the skyscraper home of the country’s richest man, past Ghandi’s home , and over an amazing bridge. There is s an indoor option to go into the Ghandi home (now a museum) would probably be worth it). Tiger is a native and was willing to share all kinds of information about the educational system, religious traditions, life in the slums, etc. He also negotiated a short ride for us on one of the open air taxis that are about the size of a large golf cart. If you take this tour (and you should), be prepared for Mumbai traffic—jammed, slow, harrowing at times, and noisy; the horn honking is incessant. We had an ambitious pizza delivery guy on a scooter crash into us; fortunately, no one hurt except, perhaps, the pizza.

We booked a two day weekend tour including the Mumbai city tour as well as the Elephanta caves tour. It were amazing days where we could experience a lot of different places in Mumbai, all of the cities most beautiful places, delicious restaurants, tour guides favorite spots and learned a lot about culture and history. Tiger and Rahil ensured that we had a great experience at any time (also during sudden Monsoon rainfall) and that we could see as much as possible in the two days. We can highly recommend the tour!

Great tour visiting different temples, markets and shops. Guide Rahil Khan showed me the Gods, Goddesses and Saints and what each one represents and how offerings are made. I was able to make offerings, feed sacred cows and even participate in a ritual being blessed. I tried indian food in clean and organized place. In the markets I was able to buy ingredients to prepare some dishes and especially to make Chai.

Wow what a day Rahil and Rajid you did it again setting such a high standard of hospitality that is beyond belief. See things like the Portuguese streets to fishing villages was something we both found to be something that you could never see only in the movies. Of course Rita favourites of course where all the bollywood stars live. Also geeting to see how the stars live on location was beyond her dreams. Food was truly delightful and off course my chai was so good. My 3 year oldson has found a great uncle forever so thanks for looking after us all

I arrived in Mumbai late Saturday Night and took this tour the next morning. This was my 1st day of my 1st visit to India. I could not have been happier with the tour and with my guide, Retro. He tailored everything to my needs and as a 68 yo woman who uses a cane I could not have appreciated that more. I got a beautiful overview of the city in just the one day I was able to stay there. Best wishes in your studies Retro...I know you will do well in life. If I am ever in Mumbai again I will definitely use this company again and I understand they have many other locations as well.

This was a real good trip. Tiger spoke good English and was very laid back. Saw a lot of cool stuff and was never rushed. I highly recommend this tour. Make sure you go to Cafe Metro for lunch and order the Chicken Nargisi and the garlic naan. Simply superb!

Mumbai can be daunting even for a seasoned traveler which is why I decided on a private tour guide. This cultural tour is the perfect deep dive into Mumbai for those who want to explore 'off the beaten path'. I cant say enough about the professionalism of this company and their employees. My guide Retro was so personable and knowledgeable and he was able to make some sense for me of the chaos that is Mumbai. Raja our driver got us where we needed to be & somehow did all that while navigating the video game that is Mumbai traffic. I got to customize the day to meet some things I was interested in including taking a short train ride. Lunch was truly authentic at a small restaurant tucked down an alley but it was also truly delicious. I returned to my hotel right on time exhausted from a day of Mumbai but completly delighted with my experience. Thank you Rahil, Retro and Raja. Our Mumbai cultural experience tour was one of the best we have ever been on! Our guide Tiger and our driver Arvind were suberb!! We felt we saw and received the “best of the best”!! This was our third WOB tour in two days and it was a perfect was to end our stay in Mumbai. Our guide was Tiger, a well spoken young man who was super organized and informative. We had revised the standard itinerary when I booked the tour with Rahil (owner of WOB) and Tiger had the plan down perfectly. Then we improvised as we went along because different things attracted our attention. Fro example, we started our by visiting Gateway of India and the Taj Hotel (not on standard itinerary but was on ours). While there, Tiger asked if we wanted to take a short ferry ride from the Gateway. We said sure, and were on the first ferry that did the 30-minute harbor tour. But because it was first, it also served as a delivery boat to many of the other boats anchored in the harbor. Fascinating to see all the transfers! So the ferry trip was longer than anticipated. But Tiger kept saying “no problem” on time - we had a hard stop at 3:00 pm to board our cruise ship, so I was anxious a bit but Tiger made it all work. We even had plenty of time for a very good lunch. Our tour ended at the cruise ship dock as planned, and we handed our luggage over to the porters. Tiger and his driver were excellent! I recommend Tiger and WOB highly.

Yet another amazing tour with WOB Tours and wonderful day spent in great company of the tour guide Tiger and our kind driver! We went to Bandra Fort and got an amazing view of Bandra-Worli Sea Link, visited Juhu Beach and a hidden from most tourists "temple of bells" where you can make a wish (to come back to Mumbai and go on more WOB tours :-) and feed some cows on the sidewalk. We went to a mosque in Versova where we fed some goats... and visited some more unique local places in Mumbai. Part of the tour is to meet as well the Dabbawallas (Lunch box carriers). The trip ended with a short ferry ride to the fishermen Madh Island, visit to a Hindu temple and local beach! On the way back I was looking to buy some traditional Indian sweets and thanks to a great recommendation from Rahil (the tour company owner) we went to a wonderful sweets shop with amazing variety where I found what I was looking for! WOB really knows not only how to meet your expectations but go far and beyond! Truly unique cultural experience for travelers looking to meet with local people, emerge in the Indian local traditions and way of living in great company!

great view of what Mumbai is like behind the usual tourist spots. highly recommended for those who have seen the usual things and want something a bit different. we had done a tour the day before of the great tourist sights, tour guide Devu was entertaining and informed, gave us lots info we would not otherwise have even thought about.

As a solo female traveler I was super nervous to even leave my hotel but I’m so glad I booked with such an amazing company. Every single thing went so smoothly and I couldn’t be more happy with Tiger and Arvind. Tiger is so funny and loves to laugh with a big beautiful smile and Arvind is an amazing driver and both are extremely sweet, kind and knowledgeable! I felt very safe the whole time. After two truly enjoyable tours on consecutive days it comes as no surprise that world of Bollywood India tours have such a high trip advisor rating. The tour of Mumbai was so comprehensive that to attempt ourselves - my granddaughter and I - would have absorbed at least two days and be more expensive. Our tour hosts made an immediate impact with their informative yet relaxed interaction. Plus great traditional lunches on both days.definitely five star!
