The whole tour was amazing from start to finish, landing on the volcano and seeing it up close was the highlight! Commentary was fun and informative, would thoroughly recommend!

It’s hard to describe just how incredible of a trip this was. We had perfect weather with views for miles. Our pilot was class. He gave us jaw dropping views and a memorable take off from the volcano itself. If you’re on the fence about this one, just go. You can thank me later.

The Mt Tarawera helicopter tour is truly breathtaking. We have a unique opportunity to witness the stunning volcanic crater, vibrant geothermal landscapes, and magnificent aerial views of the surrounding region. The tour provided us with an unforgettable experience. The highlight of this tour was that Mr. Ken Roureti was touring with us. Mr. Raureti is a local Maori leader. Not only did we get many profound stories from him, but we also learned how to respect the land.

I was scared landing on the volanco and walking on the steep hills thinking I'll fall off. The pilot was nice to offer me comfort.

Was more than I expected. Quite a thrill at age 75 to stand and look down at the volcano site. Loved flying over it with my son and three grandchildren aged 11 to 14. We all enjoyed the experience., Staff were helpful and courteous. Pilot was engaging. Thank you.

A really amazing experience to land on the mountain and walk to the summit. The views from the mountain and during the helicopter ride were great despite less than ideal weather. The pilot had excellent knowledge of the mountain and the surrounding area.

An amazing experience seeing the Rotorua lakes region from the air, out-weighed only by the rare opportunity to set foot on the remarkable Mt Tarawera. Josh is an excellent helicopter pilot and a wonderful tour guide. Many thanks also to Steve and his crew for going above and beyond to completely turn our day around - much appreciated. We will be back to experience a float plane ride next time!

Really exceeded my expectations! So cool to see Rotorua from above and really surreal being able to land and walk around on Mt Tarawera. Sam was really knowledgeable and has some fun facts about Rotorua and its surrounding areas.

Our favorite part of the experience is seeing Rotorua from above, the beautiful lakes and craters, it’s like you’re a drone, seeing the view with your own eyes. Our pilot Sam was witty, knowledgeable, and accommodating. He also offered to take photos in different settings. We travelled on a beautiful sunny day-so the the photos we took are nice. Incredible trip well looked after by pilot. Amazing place and the size of the rift is a must see. A lot of work done by local iwi to clean up noxious weeds etc. Mt. Tarawera looks great.

Cannot fault this trip. Everybody we dealt with was bubby bright informative and a pleasure to deal with. The pilot was attentive, cautious with following the rules and had a yard full of information to share. He offered to take photos, shared his knowledge, told us exactly what to expect from the helicopter and made us feel at ease. It was the most fabulous weather which added to the experience. So thankful we decided to take the helicopter trip.
