This trip was amazing from the very beginning. Javan made every effort to make us feel at ease and just enjoy the experience. The views were breathtaking, the repelling spectacular, and the bouldering and scrambling was just so fun. Highly recommend!!!!

Wonderful adventures for my family! We booked both canyoneering and rock climbing for two separate days of our vacation. We have a 15 year old and 8 year old, and our guide Javan was excellent with them both. He advised us well as to switching our canyoneering and rock climbing days due to weather, and we even turned our canyoneering into another fabulous rock climbing adventure based on his honest description of the challenges, especially with a younger kid.

Our guide Javan was wonderful and adaptable. Our family of four (boys aged 12 and 15 and 50ish Mom and Dad) had a great time climbing at Saguaro NP. Javan came up with a plan after rain prevented our canyoning trip and snow prevented accessing Mt Lemmon. We still ended up with a great day. Thank you Javan!

My friends and I did a half day guided climbing trip with Jayci and we had a great time! 2 of my friends had never climbed before and Jayci made them feel very comfortable and safe. Highly recommend!

Tucson has great access to nature, and the opportunity to climb Mt. Lemmon presented a nice change of pace and muscle group in a week of hiking. I called in advance and was given useful input on which option might work best for me. ACG accommodated my schedule and the gear I could stuff into my carry-on. Jayci, who I spoke to on the phone and my guide for the day, was knowledgeable and attentive to my skill level when picking a wall and identifying some climbs. He was present throughout the day, allowing me time to solve my own problems and providing input when appropriate. It was an incredibly positive experience and I'd recommend giving them a call if you're considering climbing in/around Tucson. To top it off, I even got a stellar recommendation for a sandwich-eating spot further up the mountain 👌 it was a great day

This activity was a lot of fun. I was a little intimidated at the beginning because I had never done anything similar before, but Javan was great at explaining the equipment, techniques, taking pictures and had extensive knowledge of the area. After repelling, climbing and repellig the 40 feet climb again, I still had plenty of time left in the tour. I decided that this was enough climbing for the day, so Javan was nice enough to guide me through a hike for the rest of the time. This was great as the views are breathtaking!!

We had such an awesome experience with ACG. Ben was our guide and he did an excellent job of providing feedback and instruction and tailoring routes for our specific skill level. It was so much fun and our confidence in our climbing ability has increased amazingly. Our last climb was a spire which was exhilarating and challenging. It was great fun and will definitely ask for Ben when we book another climbing adventure.

Jayci was my climbing guide / teacher. I believe he told me he had over 25 years of climbing experience. I felt very safe and comfortable….. Well, as comfortable as you can be for your first time climbing😁. Also, friendly and encouraging. For experienced climbers: There is another participant who was an experience climber. It seemed like she was able to get in a couple challenging climbs. I Plan on booking again….

This was my favorite guided tour yet! My flight was delayed and Javin was super flexible which was great. Once we got climbing he made sure I was learning stuff and having fun, while clearly paying great attention to safety. It was clear he hand picked climbs based on my experience level and comfort with the exposure. He also had a lot of knowledge about the area and its history. All in all a great experience? Javin was great, and i would definitely book another climb with them!

My girlfriend and I just finished a 4 day trip with Arizona Climbing Guides near Mt. Lemmon and Cochise Stronghold. We had the owner, Jayci, as our guide and I’m having a hard time imagining how we could top this climbing experience. We did mostly multipitch climbing. Jayci is extremely knowledgeable about the area, patient and passionate about people’s experiences, and his love of rock climbing shines without ego. Every climb he chose for us had the perfect mix of challenge and enjoyment. He is a pleasure to be around and we can’t wait to book another trip with him!

My friend and I flew from Utah to climb for one half day at Mt.Lemmon and 3 full days at Cochise Stronghold. I have climbed with a lot of guides over many years, and can honestly say Jayci was one of the best guides I’ve climbed with. Amazing experience with a terrific guide. Its important to let them know your level and they will give you all the challenge you can handle but not too much. They were also incredible gentlemen about a challenge I had which had nothing to do with them. They are a first class operation.

My guide, TJ, was very knowledgeable and experienced and I felt safe the entire time. This was my first time rock climbing and he taught me a lot about the sport, like how to tie knots, what each piece of gear did, etc. Best of all I was able to get on the rocks and conquer some of my fears. TJ was patient and encouraging the entire time. The hike to/from the crag was about 1 mile each way with some inclines and beautiful views. I would highly recommend even if you are a first-timer, as there are "easy" climbs available. I was a solo traveler and that wasn't an issue (i.e. no group minimum), which I really appreciate. Going in the morning also allowed for cooler temps and our climbing spot was shady and very comfortable.
