Our trip with Kye was absolutely amazing! The weather wasn't great on the day we went, so we couldn't see much of Mt. Fuji, but that actually turned out to be a good thing. Kye and his team quickly came up with some fun activities and local experiences so our day wouldn't be wasted. My husband and I love traditional Japanese crafts, so we started with a super cool Japanese fan-making class. For lunch, Kye took us to a sushi workshop with sake pairing, which we totally loved. After lunch, we got to have a Kimono experience. We dressed up and had our makeup and hair done for a photo shoot in Tokyo. It was so much fun! We told Kye it was our honeymoon, and he went all out to make sure we had the best memories and photos. I can't say enough about how special our day with Kye was and how thankful I am that we chose his company for our Mt. Fuji day trip. Our family had an outstanding experience with Kye, our guide for the day. From the moment we met him at the entrance, his punctuality and warm welcome set the tone for a fantastic day. He recommended upgrading our car for comfort, which proved to be invaluable—our children were entertained with a Nintendo Switch and Netflix during our journey, making the early start at 6 am a breeze. This early departure paid off beautifully as we caught stunning, clear views of Mt. Fuji before the clouds gathered. Kye's friendly and witty nature made every moment enjoyable. He showed incredible flexibility, particularly with our dining choices—when our youngest was hesitant to try the local cuisine at a wonderful pork cutlet restaurant, Kye quickly adapted and suggested a quick stop at McDonald's, ensuring everyone was happy. This thoughtful approach allowed every family member to fully enjoy the day. Excited by our fantastic experience, we’ve already booked Kye for an 8-day adventure next week in Kyoto, Nara, Osaka, and Hiroshima. We are eager to see what great adventures Kye has planned for us there. His ability to blend professionalism with fun and attentiveness made our Mt. Fuji day unforgettable. I am grateful that we were able to see and actually be on Mount Fuji. It was a clear and beautiful, blue sky day and we got some fantastic views of the site en route. That being said, the traffic out of Tokyo was very busy, as well as the highway, so it took a good part of our day just to get there. We were warned of this, and we still chose to depart later in the morning, so to be clear - this was not the fault of our guide. At the end of the day, this was an expensive car ride, and I feel like booking a bus or other day trip would yield the same outcome and cost a lot less money. As our guide himself said, "for those who can afford me" you will enjoy a private car versus attending a crowded bus with all other average travelers, however, I would choose a bus next time. We have received no photos from the guide as promised (two weeks after tour) either.

We had an amazing, low key day with Kye. He allowed us to customize the tour to see the sights we wanted, including a hike in Aokigahara Forest. 10/10 the best tour guide you can book for a private Fuji area tour. He even went out of his way to drop us off at Ueno Zoo vs our hotel so we didn't have to take a cab. Highly recommend if you are looking for a professional guide that you book with this company!

This was an unfortunate experience. Kye isn't transparent about the pricing and neither is Viator. Essentially, you got charged by the hour if there is traffic and there is no well planned itinerary for Mt. Fuji. The best way to describe this is as a private driver that is far more expensive than the other options on Viator or through your hotel. Very misleading and left a bad taste about Tokyo.

Kye was great! Super friendly, great driver, very accommodating and knowledgeable of the area. He took us to some unique viewpoints and made a few additional stops to help us out with a few things. Much appreciated!

Our day with Kye to Mount Fuji could not have been better. He went above and beyond to take us to all the places we discussed, he was in constant contact with us leading up to the day and on the day was fun, informative, easy to deal with and we absolutely enjoyed having him do all the activities with us. I could not recommend Kye highly enough. Our group was a family of 6, with a 10 and 8 year old and grandparents included and Kye catered to all our interests. Thanks for a truely wonderful day!

Our tour guide Kye kept us entertained all day with his humour and quick wit! We very much enjoyed his luxury style van for transport to Mt Fuji which saved us so much time and hassle if we had tried to go ourselves! Kye had all the great photo spots and got some amazing pictures for our tour day! He knows all he ideal spots around Fuji & he captured all the memories we wanted for our family! His fluent English and Japanese is very helpful for the tour! We will be back again to book with Kye for our next Japan holiday!

We were picked up at our hotel in Yokohama, with an early start around 6:00 in the morning. This gave us a clear sky, views of Mt. Fuji, and a tour up to the 5th station. We spent the day visiting gardens, waterfalls, and steaming vents. Truly a custom tour with delightful stories and history. Thank you for a wonderful full day of activities.

Kye was a wonderful tour guide, knew lots of history and took time to explain the areas we visited. We were fortunate in that the weather was totally clear all day, and had amazing views. We opted for the vehicle upgrade, which is totally worth it, and Kye was a good driver. Be sure to bring cash with you! He recommended at least 20k Yen each. This is for snacks, entry at some locations, etc. He does stop at a rest area with Starbucks and food options about halfway there, and there are plenty of stops during the day.

Our group of 6 had a wonderful trip to Mt Fuji and the surrounding area. We were fortunate to have Kye, who speaks English with a delightful Australian accent, as our guide. He is very knowledgeable of the local area and the optimal times to visit specific sites. Despite heavy traffic on the return to Tokyo, Kye was able to navigate local and side roads for timely return to our hotel. Will definitely recommend this tour to our friends.

Kai is bilingual and very knowledgeable for the tour. Also he understands quickly our request and figure things out for us . Very trust worthy with this guy . He is good driver too .

We booked this tour to get the best possible chance to catch a glimpse of Mt.Fuji and couldn’t be happier with the experience we had! An amazing tour with a knowledgeable and friendly tour guide, he knew all the best spots for a great shot but let us choose what we’d like to do as well! He really made the trip memorable and interesting, with a great sense of humour! We were picked up from our hotel and dropped off afterwards in Tokyo which makes the whole experience amazingly smooth and handy! We can’t recommend this experience enough, it will definitely make your trip if you are interested in seeing Fuji from the best vantage points and tailoring a trip to feature the things you are interested in!

Lye was great. He was flexible and allows us to extend the day. He had great input as where we could go but totally let us decide what to do. Our teenage grandchildren said it was the best day ever.

The experience was great even before the trip started. Kye was very responsive to msges via TripAdvisor and advise to add a stop worth visiting on to my itinerary. Day before the trip he reminded us and also told us to bring jacket as weather might be chilly. On day of visiting he was on time and our upgraded car is super clean and water is provided. Kye helped to decide the best route for the itinerary and ensure we are in time to catch all the places before the sky turn dark. We have sufficient time for lunch too. He was patient in guiding and waiting for us a big group of 6. He also help us to take beautiful photograph! He was humorous and friendly. We were bless with excellent weather and a good guide!

Everything about the tour was professional but very relaxed. There was great communication as soon as the booking had been made. Kye (our driver) is fluent in English and Japanese which helps tremendously as you plan out the day. We didn’t want a rushed itinerary so Kye was happy to show us the options for the day and be constantly flexible throughout. He is a safe and careful driver and the Prado we went in was brand new and very comfortable. You will not go wrong choosing this company or this driver. Great experience.
