Awesome tour in the mountains around Como. Max is very knowledgeable and a great tour guide. He was able to cater the ride to me (avid mountain biker looking for challenges) and my wife (novice mountain biker trying to survive). Would recommend to anyone looking for an adventure in the mountains.

Such an amazing experience and a fun way to see Como and surrounding cities! Our guide Lorenzo was so fun and charismatic! We biked around some historical landmarks from WWI and had some amazing views of the lake! Lorenzo was very patient and fun to bike with. The company as a whole was so kind, informative and accommodating. It was my friends first time mountain biking and she loved it! Would 100% recommend!!!

It was a lot of fun! We did not have that much experience with mtbs and while riding uphill we were very happy with the e-mtbs. Great views during the ride and also nice info on the Italian and Swiss border from our guide Max. Thanks for the tour!

Great place to rent bikes in Como. We rented regulat MTB and they were top quality bikes. Max, our guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and accomodating. We would definitely go back, rent and do a tour with them if back in the area.

This bike tour is amazing! Max is wonderful. We saw parts of Italy and Switzerland we never would have seen on our own. The bikes are really high quality. Definitely a must do if you are visiting Como!

Excellent trip with Max discovering new places around Lake Como - around the Swiss and Italian border - 5 stars, loved it! The panorama was beautiful with visits to a few historical sights along the route made the trip so rich in terms of sightseeing activies.The electric bike (MTB) rented was of super quality, such a pleasure to use! Very good trip with Max.. he’s such a nice and informative guide. It’s such a great way to explore the area and get some great views of the lake Como area. Further more cool historical sights and border-crossing by bike. Would definitely go again and recommend!

Perfectly English speaking Italian tour guide Max showed us the beautiful surroundings and the 'Parco Regionale Spina Verde' at the Como Lake. I had a really good tour with Max. After my request we did some enduro riding which was really cool. Then we did some XC in and out of Switzerland and Italy. Went through wine yards and saw historical sights. It had it all. Absolutely perfect. Looking forward to go back.

This ride was absolutely one of the highlights of our trip! Max was such a gracious guide - he took us through single track chestnut forests and vineyards and stopped many times to share the history of the places we visited. The ride was challenging and fun and Max was cautious of our safety and mindful of enjoyment. I (unfortunately) lost my phone along our route and Max went out of his way to help me try and find it. Max it’s without a doubt, a good person and the best guide in Lake Como. If you’re trying to decide between this adventure and another, choose this one! Max will not disappoint! Found Max online, super easy to deal with and prompt reply’s to questions. Ask forthe bike to set up a certain way - not a problem. Great ride between border of Switzerland and italy. I ride mostly enduro and so Max was able to mix the route up some epics decent. With amazing views. 100% recommended 🤘

Max took us to an amazing MTB trip, it was fun and hard enough to make it challenging too but he supported me in every way giving very detailed information of what was coming ahead. I recommend it 100%.

We had a fantastic three mountain biking with Max our tour guide. We chose electric bikes (we are mid 50s and Max is an ex Italian National Mountain biker). The E Bikes were high quality passing all the checks by my husband a professional mechanical engineer. An amazing trip including great views, some Ww1 and WW2 trenches and tunnels, crossing the border into Switzerland (novel for New Zealanders), travelling through Merlot wine vineyards and descending looking over Lake Como all including commentary and local information. Our trip ended in a cafe where my husband shouted Max a beer and we got to meet some of his cool cycling friends. Would utterly recommend. Thanks for a fantastic trip Max. Xx

Awesome fun! Max met me at the Run & Bike store, got me kitted up, nice carbon MTB rental, off we went. Climbed up to the hills, roads painted with the pro-cyclist names for Tour of Lombardy on the following weekend- a bit of extra fun. Then into the Spina Verde park. As well as a great ride- and deliberately being out of my comfort zone in parts- Max was excellent in terms of advice on MTB technique .He knows these trails very well- just like the old guys we came across collecting chestnuts, which carpeted the trail floors.Many of the trails are old smugglers routes through the mountains- and he also gave me a tour through the World War 1 trenches and tunnels along the border. Fascinating stuff.Then an exhilarating ride downhill back into Como to finish. A great day out, certainly a highlight of my trip.

This was an unforgettable adventure! Before leaving for our trip, Max carefully checked my rented bike to ensure the bike was in proper working order: tire pressure and seat height were carefully reviewed and adjusted. Then we started off on our tour. Max first had me ride ahead and assessed my riding ability. Afterward, he moved ahead and set an appropriate pace for us to follow up the hill. He was patient and accommodating and allowed me to take frequent breaks as we made our way up the hill, which was 400 meters high. When we arrived at the top, we stopped for a panoramic view of Lake Como and the city of Como from a lookout point in Spina Verde National Park. For the next hour, we continued along forest trails that weaved their way through the National Park. Near the border with Switzerland, we stopped to explore Italian trenches dug during World War I, which was for me a pleasant surprise. Afterwards, we crossed the border into Switzerland and continued along challenging and enjoyable trails through the Swiss portion of the park. These trails do require some ability with a mountain bike and are not for novice riders. To my great surprise and enjoyment, we then came out into a clearing where we had a panoramic view of Swiss wine fields with the Alps in the distance. A truly spectacular sight! As a wine connoisseur, Max explained the different variations of grapes being grown and taught me the role American grapes play in the growth process of many different fine European wines. We then finished the tour by winding downhill through Southwestern Switzerland and Northern Italy back to our starting point, allowing us an opportunity to take in the panoramic views from the seat of our bikes. This tour exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend this experience for anyone who wants to challenge themselves physically while enjoying the gorgeous views. Max is a superb and knowledgeable guide.
