It was an amazing experience !! It was cloudy on top but the overall experience was all worth it !! Walking up the uphill in the darkness of night was awsum !!! I am a person with very moderate fitness, hence took little longer than others but overall I am proud that I could reach the top before sunset and the guide was extremely patient and very very helpful. The inclination was steep and last part was pretty steep so anyone planning, be prepared.

An amazing sunrise trip to Mount Batur. We got picked up on time at 2.30am in Ubud and a 1 hour drive to the start. We met Oman our guide who was fantastic. His english was perfect and his knowledge of the area excellent. He was great fun and we had a very enjoyable hike up and down. To top it off, you get a breakfast included at the top with a warm drink which is needed before sunrise. Thoroughly recommend and ask for Oman as your guide!!

I had a fantastic time on my mountain trekking trip organized by Bagus Bali Sunrise trekking travel agent. They were able to customize the trip to fit my preferences and skill level, ensuring that I had a challenging yet rewarding experience. We just got back from our tour and can’t stop talking about it. We did the 4x4 Jeep and then trekked up the last bit to the summit. Our guide, Adi, was incredible! Lots of laughs and very knowledgeable about all of our questions! The volcano and sunrise was beautiful - 10/10 recommend!

We had an amazing tour because of the tourguide Oman. He gives us an great experience and a lot of fun. He knows the good spots, take some of good pictures and video's from us and has a lot of good energy. Also the transport from our hotel was very good. Exact on time. It was a very nice and beautiful trip!

We were picked up from our hotel at 2:00am last night. The driver was ready on time. When we arrived at our destination, our guide Oman was already ready with water and headlamps. On the way up, Oman was very friendly and matched his pace to ours. When we arrived at the top, he looked for a nice place where we could sit and continued his way to provide breakfast. the breakfast was fine and diverse. Because we liked to have music on during our tour, Oman provided a box after which we continued our route over the peaks with pleasant music. Oman showed us all the places we asked about, really took the time to take beautiful photos and created an incredibly pleasant atmosphere throughout the entire route. The views and sunrise were already very beautiful in themselves, but having Oman as a tour guide made it a great experience for us. When we returned, the transfer was ready to take us back to our accommodation. Highly recommended!

Our tour with our guide, Carik, was simply great! He was already waiting for us at the car. We had very bright headlamps (perfect in the dark), Nordic walking sticks and took our pace into account. He also took photos of us, so we will always remember this lovely trip. Thank you, Carik! We come from Germany and are older, but this trip was still doable.

My friend and I did the sunrise trek with Gede as our guide and had so much fun. He was lovely, had a good laugh and chat all throughout. The views were stunning at sunrise, would highly recommend to anyone coming to Bali!

5 Stars - Exceptional Experience with Mt Batur TourI had an incredible experience with the Mt Batur tour, and I can't recommend it enough. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the sunrise trek was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Our guide was knowledgeable and ensured everyone in the group was safe and comfortable throughout the hike. The early morning start was well worth it when we reached the summit and saw the sunrise over the caldera. It's a must-do for anyone visiting Bali. Big thanks to our guide CARIK for making this trip unforgettable.

We absolutely loved our sunrise hike to Mount Batur. The driver was prompt and the car comfortable and was ready to collect us upon finishing. Our tour guide Don was incredible! He really made the whole experience more personal, he was engaging, set the pace to our ability and gave us options on ascending and descending. Our spot on the mount was incredible and Dons ability to get the best pictures really made an amazing morning even better. Could not recommend enough.

Everything about this was perfect. Logistics: Seamless booking and WhatsApp communication. Multiple payment options for whatever is best for you. Pick up and drop off at hotel. Time table is exactly as they say. Very clear directions and info in advance. Transport: Comfortable, private vehicle with plenty of space and AC. Good drivers who are punctual and always waiting for you. Our driver was very skilled and safe. Guide: Official Batur Trekking guide (read about importance on website). We had “Joe” and he was amazing. Very funny, very knowledgeable, customized to our pace, always made sure we had what we needed, and a truly exceptional photographer. So grateful we had Joe. Trek: Provided headlamps (better than other companies that provide hand held). Also gave walking sticks which helped with the incline. Different companies have different starting points - this one has the best (very shady on the way back down…..gets hot once the sun is up!) Extra Mile: We asked to go to a very specific coffee plantation after the hike. It was not convenient for the driver and required extra time and effort. They graciously accommodated and the added fee for customization (which we knew and agreed to in advance) was very fair. BOOK WITH THEM IF YOU ARE DOING MT BATUR!

Communication was good, pick up/drop off was smooth as well. Friendly staff especially Adi, and i definitely recommend this to everyone.

Our Tour started at 3 am and the Driver picked us up at our hotel. After we reached the drop of Point. Gede, the Jeep Driver and guide picked us up and went up to the Jeep view spot. We went up by foot and it was an amazing sunrise and Gede was super friendly and gave us good information.

We are a couple from Ireland and booked this tour for the sunrise trek of Mt Batur and coffee plantation online. Our driver was early and so friendly, we felt very safe on the journey. We arrived at the meeting point , where we met our tour guide Donn, he was so friendly and genuine from the start. He gave us head torches, hiking sticks and made sure we had enough water. As we trekked up Mt Batur, Donn kept a good pace and allowed us to take breaks if needed, he stopped at excellent locations and offered to take photos for us. When we arrived at the top, Donn made us very good coffee and breakfast. He was very professional and informative throughout the hike, he showed us various plants along the route and explained the history of Mt Batur. Donn was just a super guy and made our experience extra special and we are very grateful! Thank you Donn! 😃😃🙏
