We had an amazing time climbing Mount Batur! Our driver Putu Anton picked us up from our hotel at 2.30am and was so friendly and helpful. The walk itself is pretty challenging, especially in the middle of the night, so I’d recommend taking plenty of water and some good shoes! It took us 1 hr 45 mins to reach the summit. Our guide Wayan Budiawan was amazing, he got us all up the mountain with time to spare. Two of our group also decided not to walk the whole way once we were half way up so Wayan arranged for them to be taken up the rest of the way on motorbikes. A great option if you don’t fancy walking the entire thing. He also took heaps of photos for us (including a time lapse of the sunrise), as he knew all the tricks to a good summit photo! At the summit we had hot coffee and eggs cooked in the volcanic steam which Wayan sorted out for us. After we’d made our way down, Putu drove us to a cafe called Okuta for breakfast which had the most amazing view (and amazing latte art!). We finished the trip with a visit to a Ululandu Batur temple, where Wayan gave us a guided tour. Overall, a really cool experience that I would definitely recommend!

Our hike could not have been better. Wayan Budiawan is the absolute best and took care of us! He is such a fun guide and took some great pictures for us to remember an amazing experience. Other guides and companies on the trek didn’t put as much thought and attention into their customers.. we couldn’t have been happier and HIGHLY recommend this company and this trek. Putu Panda was also a great driver and was very pleasant to be around at the early hour of 2:30a! We felt safe with him and enjoyed his company.

We had a lovely morning thanks to our driver, Putu, and guide, Made. The sheer number of hikers surprised me but Made knew exactly where to go and when to get some beautiful photos. You can tell he really enjoys what he does and is happy to show Mount Batur to visitors. Thank you for a beautiful morning!

Trekking to the Batur volcano is an unforgettable experience! Beautiful views, an unforgettable impression and the care of the best people. With a driver like Putu Pande and a JRO guide, it must be possible! We recommend it 100%! We had a great time, ate a delicious breakfast with a perfect view of the Batur volcano and tasted local coffees and teas in a lovely place. Thank you very much, guys! ❤️

Had such a great time with get your guide guide tour with private transfer. Gede Dastra picked us up and was super helpful on the whole journey. He told us about the volcano and local tradition. Couldn’t recommend the tour more!

Amazing views from the top! Well worth the money. The tour guides are brilliant, JRO navigated the darkness to get our whole group up safely and took loads of great photos of our group at the top! Brilliant thing to do on your holiday! Highly recommend.

We had an amazing time hiking Mt Batur with JRO. He was so patient with us as we were feeling a little under the weather that morning. He encouraged us to keep going all the way to the top and we were so happy we did. Not only was the sunrise beautiful, JRO brought us coffee and showed us how he cooks eggs in the steam from the crater. We also got to see the monkeys as they came out just after sunrise. I would highly recommend doing this tour with JRO.

This was an amazing experience. My driver Putu was terrific starting with a friendly face at 2:30am 😀. My guide Gee Tono was absolutely fantastic. He was very patient and helpful for me being a bit unfit. Quite a few stops and he even carried my rucksack. He found me a perfect spot at the top of the mountain and helped me take lots of great photos. The views were so breathtaking I was very moved. Can’t explain the experience other than it was emotional and special. The mood of others on the mountain was terrific too. The monkeys were cute and the steam coming off the mountain was really special too. Couldn’t rave highly enough about the experience or the company. The breakfast was great too. What a special time. I am now exhausted but happy.

I cannot speak highly enough of Mount Batur treaking. Their communication of how the day would run & their timings were on point, very very reliable !! We had the most amazing experience with them today and one we will never forget. The trek was hard but rewarding, we had the most amazing guide with us Wayan Budiawan, he is an absolute legend !!! Pushing us on and taking some great pictures on the way. We had a driver Putu Anton assigned to us for the day and he was also amazing. After the trek we went onto the white water rafting which was a perfect way to end an action packed day! Our guide on the water was Rye, he was so much fun! Came towards the end of March. Weather was perfect and the views were amazing. Our guide, JRO was phenomenal and patient.

We all had a wonderful time doing the Mount Batur Sunrise Trekking private tour. Putu and Wayan were both a fantastic driver and mountain guide. All went smoothly and I would recommend to anyone wanting to do this Trek.

I had a great day!! Pick up was 2.30am - early start but worth it! The hike was quite challenging for me. but my guide Tono was very patient and accommodated my multiple stops to catch my breath! Unfortunately the weather didn't allow for the Sun to pierce at the top, but in a way being in the fog and mist at the top was quite beautiful. Arya was my trusted driver for the day - taking me to the hike site, then to a beautiful hotsprings after, followed by a coffee plantation visit. I enjoyed Arya's company so much that I organised another day trip with him. He's very professional, nice and fun. I highly recommend both Arya as a day tour guide and Toni for the hike itself!!

Awesome activity, nothing needs to improve other than my fitness level haha. Be ready for steep hike, the views are totally worth it.

The Batur Sunrise Trekking and White Water Rafting package was terrific. Brilliant views from the top, great driver (Putu Pande) and guides for both parts. Excellent experience all around, would 100% recommend to go.

The views were so special! Although we didn’t get much of a sunrise due to the cloud coverage, we still found it amazingly beautiful. Loved being above the clouds! And the steam and steaming the eggs was super cool! Our guide was so patient and supportive with our minimal fitness up the mountain lol Detouring us through the jungle which we really enjoyed. The hot springs afterwards was exactly what our body needed as well as the delicious breakfast with a view.

Had an amazing time doing this hiking. Our driver Putu and our guide Jro were the nicest: on time, helpful. Jro guided us perfectly, took amazing pictures and share his knowledge on the Mount Batur. Really appreciated ! The hike is intense but not that hard and long, just a bit steep by moments. Jro adapts the rythm and you get breaks when needed. Highly recommend going with them if you want to do Mount Batur which is a must in Bali.

The driver Putu was very professional and helpful. The trekking guide Gede was very accommodating. The trek itself was a little more strenuous than I expected but I made it to the top successfully. The views at the top were fantastic! Afterwards, the stop for lunch was great. Good food, nice atmosphere.

Early start but the views are worth it!! JRO was a great guide! We started hiking around 3:30am and arrived around 5:30am. We opted to take the motorbike road instead of the car road which had less traffic. It was cool seeing how you can cook eggs on the mountain since there is steam from the volcano.
