Paid extra for a pick up from our hotel as we were quite a way out of Marrakech. The journey to the venue was a little awkward as the driver picked up a family of 4 when there was only room for 3. A child had to sit on the floor. The whole place seems a little chaotic and we shared a table with those that were on our bus. We were all asked if we wanted chicken or beef. 2 requested chicken and 6 beef - we were served a tagine of each! Loads of chicken for 2 but not so the beef. The food wasn't great. No drinks were provided with the meal and the ones we bought were expensive - even the water The show on the other hand was great and it made the evening worthwhile. Big tip would be to eat before you go and take a bottle of water!

We enjoyed our time here, it was worth the visit. We only wished our driver spoke english so he could engage us on some questions we had as we journeyed to the venue, we had a lot of questions. That would have completed the whole lovely experience. We loved the entertainment and the food was good.

The entire experience was great from the welcoming! The food was amazing. It was so much we couldn’t eat it all and we had a party of 3. And the show afterwards was great as well. Would definitely recommend!

Booked this place for the family and sure enough I should’ve read the reviews before booking. What an absolute nightmare. From the moment we arrived the staff did everything in their power to fleece us of money. They demand it. The food was absolutely awful. We were fed like children at a third world boarding school. The staff are so rude. The animals are badly treated it was sad to watch. They use those animals to get maximum profit in whichever way. As for the entertainment, what can I say it was a slippery slope from the beginning and it only went south thereafter. If you can please avoid at all costs.

Our pick up was right in time by a very friendly driver. He escorted us inside the venue explained the evening. Reserved seats for us for the show and even was very friendly with our son Totally worth ur money. We loved the experience

We were picked up from our hotel and our host/driver was gave us a tour of the place before the meal. This was a very nice experience of Moroccan culture. There were different types of tribe music which visited the us as we ate, it was really enjoyable. The horse show followed the meal. I would recommend this trip and would do it again.

It was awesome to watch the horsemen charge and fire their muskets. It gives you some sense of what battles felt like in the day. For me, that is what made the show worthwhile. The dinner itself was good. My girlfriend found out that when you order wine it is by the bottle. It is not possible to get by the glass. Bring your tip money if you choose to dance.

Pickup driver was rude and unhelpful. I did not get one drink or souvenir photo. This trip is a waste of money

Enjoyable evening. Full of song, dance, horses and gun fire. Interesting to hear the diverse musical styles.

The food was amazing. Out of all places the food was very well prepared. The show is a different story. You struggle to find a seat and people we can territorial. It's to dark to enjoy.

We've booked three tickets on the 19th of September and were having high hopes from the show. Unfortunately, the driver could not pick us up at the hotel, claiming that he could not access the place where it was located due to the narrow street and the market place and came 20 minutes late at our meeting point.
The the emphasis was put rather on the dinner then on the performance although we would have wished to see more of the show it was more a 2/3 dinner and a 1/3 show experience. During the dinner several dancing groups came to dance around the table and were expecting some money afterwards. It was funny to dance with the first group but when the next three groups came along, it started to be annoying.
The show lasted about 30 minutes, with some horseback riding acrobatics, a belly dancer and some fireworks. All in all, we spent there about 3 hours.

The dinner was middels, and the drinks expensive, however the show was cool. A lot of music during the dinner.

The food was middels good, and a bit noisy. The driver was very sweet. He called us when we forgot the dinner and we manage to reach him. The show was good, however the total value for us was 3 stars. All driks was extra cost and if you take a picture of the horses close by, they want money.

My daughter liked the show and food was really good. They could have used better lighting in the show.

I was a little sceptical about this trip as thought it would be too touristy but I actually thoroughly enjoyed it and can see why so many people go. The transfer to Chez Ali is simple and straightforward and we were delivered to our tent for dinner where you get a table to yourself and enjoy multiple food courses as well as many different dancing groups, which are great entertainment and fun. The highlight though are the horseman at the end of the night and worth the wait. Thoroughly recommend this tour for all the family.

My friend and I went to the dinner for our first night in Marrakech. It was a great way to start the trip.

The food is nice (go for the tajine) and the fresh fruit was a treat. Staff is working hard to get everyone ready in time for the show so not much time for a smile and service. It would feel a lot better if the place was a bit smaller, the size adds to the touristy touch. The show was quite spectacular, but please just watch with an open mind. And make sure you sit on the short side of the gallery!

Beautifully staged...great food served and different tent like restaurants. The performers lacked joy and enthusiasm...I expected more passion in showing the world the unique bereber traditions.
