Learned a lot about herbs and vegetables used in Thai dishes. Was helpful to have the market visit prior to starting cooking as well. The cooking experience was very well facilitated with a good amount of the prep work already done but now I feel ready to recreate these dishes at home! It was also very cool to be able to make the curry paste from scratch. My chosen cooking menu shown here: tom yum soup, pad thai, and panang curry.

The property is beautiful. Patty was an exceptional host, don’t eat before! We made three dishes and also ate mango sticky rice and were served tea with free water. Definitely recommend!

We had a delightful experience. Everything was so perfectly timed. The instructor was knowledgeable and the class was fun. We had a visit to the local market and the teacher in school farm. And could select a 3 course meal from a selection of dishes. Would definitely recommend.

Great experience learned so much in such a little time! Def worth attending. They are so friendly, so sweet. The farm is beautiful!!

What a great morning! Kiki hosted my group's cooking class, and it was fantastic! We first stopped off at a market where she went through lots of different Thai food bits before we all got the bus to the cooking class location. What a beautiful place! The whole morning was well organised and was like clockwork. Kiki was so knowledgeable and friendly and just a great host. The food we made was spot on - so stunningly beautiful and delicious! Would highly recommend this tour!

One of the best experiences we had in our trip to Thailand. Our Chef Jimmie was wonderful, he made the day super fun and enjoyable. We had super fresh ingredients to cook and the food was delicious. Highly recommend.

Amazing loved this half morning experience, from the little tour in the market identifying different ingredients, the walk around the vast gardens, the incredibly loved and nurtured surrounds to then preparing, cooking and eating all the dishes! Amazing!

I highly recommend this activity. I loved the lead trainer was hilarious and really engaging. The dishes were simple yet delicious. I also like how were taught about the different herbs and ingredients and the best ways to infuse them in a dish. I was solo but honestly everyone in the class was really nice and friendly. They also offer hotel pickup so that was an added bonus. I was so full at the end of the class and really happy.

Picked us up from hotel which was appreciated. The stop at the market was super informative. The outdoor venue at Grandmas is gorgeous and the learning kitchens are fantastic. We made 3 scrumptious Thai dishes with Chef giving clear instructions to all 10 in our group. This tour is worth every cent!!!

I loved getting a tour of the market to see the fresh ingredients and the dried/packaged versions we could take home. The class itself was so fun! I really feel like we could recreate these dishes in our own kitchen and we’re excited to enjoy our own Thai cooking at home.

We had an amazing experience at this cooking class. Not only was our instructor wonderful, and so very helpful, but there was an entire support team behind-the-scenes that set up and broke down our cooking stations in between each of the dishes we cooked. This is an extremely well run operation and an incredible value for the cost. I would do it again just because the food was so great and they made cooking so easy. I recommend it for anyone who loves to cook or loves to eat.

Much more than what I was expecting!! Out teacher, Garnet, is the most lovely person in Chiang Mai. We went to the market together, then did a tour in the beautiful organic farm they have and then start cooking. We made three plates of our choice and eat mango sticky rice at the end. The place is beautiful, best quality ingredients, everything made so easy and delicious. The big farm is just unbelievable. You should definitely do it while staying in Chiang Mai.

I am not much of a cook but our instructor made it easy and fun to make such dishes as pad Thai. He also had a great sense of humor. Before the actual instruction in cooking, we toured the grounds and saw where many of the ingredients we were going to use were grown. We got to eat what we cooked. Everything was set up very carefully in advance so we had what we needed to prepare our dishes. They can arrange transportation from your hotel in Chiang Mai and back again.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and professional. The cooking school was a great place in terms of facilities and ambience. Great experience!

Excellent guide and excellent class. My husband does not cook yet he made an amazing soup. We did not make the dessert , either its not included or maybe we took too long with the rest - but we did receive it and was great. We made tom yum soups and panang curry and the chiang mai curry the Khao Soi - amazing - overall great. However if In could do it again in would go in the afternoon as we went after breakfast and could not finish our food.

My husband and I had a wonderful morning session here Our host was delightful, informative and fun... think her name was Gannet. We made the most delicious curry paste, soup, pad Thai and curry. Then they gave us a mango sticky rice to eat. So much food!!! I was able to choose a vegetarian option. We visited to local market to learn more about our ingredients. We also had a tour of the beautiful gardens to learn more about what was grown there for ingredients. Free drinking water. Comfortable surroundings. Would highly recommend!!

I only had 24 hours to explore Thailand during my short stay, and this was the perfect way to start the day and get an authentic taste of the culture☺️ I’m so grateful for the good explanations and the market tour, so I will know how to find the ingredients back home in order to replicate the meals we made! Was a wonderful and very fun experience.
