We made pasta! Was a great visit/class! We had just the two of us, it was so cool to actually cook something myself that was so delicious & to know where all the ingredients in the food we made were from! We had a really great time & look forward to making this recipe for our friends & family at home!

What an amazing experience this was. Wow. One of the best cooking classes I have been to. My wife and I love to explore local cuisine and make it a tradition that when we go away we always do a cooking class. This was by far one of the best. We were unfortunately sightly late as we got lost! but Ornellina was very understanding. Ornellina went above and beyond as we booked it last minute and my wife had a preference of gluten and dairy free. She went above and beyond to accommodate her and I am so grateful, she is so kind and welcoming and full of so much knowledge and wisdom. We cooked outside in the lovely sun and this made the experience even better. The experience was so wholesome and we really got to cook everything from scratch and learn all about it. We made amazing fresh pesto pasta, breaded courgettes, sage infused chicken, cannelloni I would highly recommend this class with Ornellina Thank you so much for a great experience and we will definitely be back!

My two daughters and I meet Clara early in the morning by her apartment and walked to her local outdoor market. Clara was very welcoming and personable and we felt comfortable right away. It was clear from her interactions with the vendors in the market that they had an excellent relationship. We liked her philosophy of buying local and organic where possible. She even found goat Gorgonzola as I am lactose intolerant but to my surprise the vendor correctly told us that Gorgonzola even made with milk from a cow is lactose free. We walked back to her apartment where we met her husband Fabio and proceeded to cook her Winter seasonal menu. I have taken numerous cooking classes through out travels and found Clara's to be one of the best. She is very informative and makes you feel comfortable in her kitchen. It was a lovely mother-daughter activity. After finishing our cooking we ate our meal starting with some Prosecco and excellent wine pairings. All courses were delicious! We look forward to making all the recipes in Toronto.

An early Saturday morning start with a rendez vous set up at 08h30 with our hostess. We were meet by Clara our hostess and her husband Fabio. Clara explained our morning visit, with first a visit to her local butcher shop and then in to the local market. At the market most of the stalls had made an effort to decort their stands for Halloween. Clara explained to us the vast range of fruit and vegetables available from Italy and Clara was very keen to only buy Italian products and products in season. After our market visit we went back to Clara's house where we all washed out hands and moved into the kitchen to start cooking, we mad our own fresh pasta, a pumpkin and leek rissoto with cannoli shell filled with ricotta. Everything was done in a very orderly fashion and with plenty of enjoyment by everybody, at the end of cooking class we got eat everything we had cooked. At this stage I would warn everybody that you should eat only a very very small breakfast beforehand. Fabio and Clara are excellent hosts and the whole family realty enjoyed this cooking experience.

Cooking with Clara was one of my best experiences in Milano, she is so great! We cooked a vegetarian meal, all the dishes were excellent and I learned a lot from the cooking process with her. She is very helpful and professional. It's in her home so it makes it even more authentic. I definitely highly recommend this experience with or without the market walk which was also very nice.

It was a pleasure taking the class with Clara. The trip to the market and the cooking class took were great fun and we learned a lot about the food itself and how to turn it into delicious Italien dishes. Clara is a lovely person and a great teacher who made us feel at home in her kitchen and fall in love with the Italien cuisine. Our group of only four people plus Clara allowed for in depth teaching and therefore absolutely stunning results in the end. If you are looking for a place to have a great time and get to know the most delicious Italien food at the same time, look no further.

Clara is a fabulous teacher and a gracious host! I was so glad we did the version with the market tour. What a bright and colorful way to start the morning! There was something for everyone in this class. My eight year old daughter had a blast and Clara was perfect with her, just as warm and patient as you would expect an Italian grandmother to be! I have almost no cooking experience and was able to keep up and even my husband who is a trained chef learned a ton of new things, especially about making risotto. This was absolutely a top highlight of our 4 days in Milan!!

My wife and I had an amazing time and really enjoyed this cooking class with Clara. We would highly recommend this wonderful experience. Clara made it so much fun and we enjoyed spending our day with her. We spent 14 days touring Italy and without question, this was the best meal of our trip!

No matter your level or interest in cooking, I would highly recommend spending the morning/afternoon with Clara. You will most certainly have an amazing time and learn along the way. I have since shared the fantastic food and memories from this experience with many since my return and only wish I could find a Clara here in the USA!

This class was wonderful. Clara exposed us to a real Italian market, taught us about how to pick out fruits and veggies and select ingredients, warmly welcomed us into her home and kitchen, and patiently taught us how to cook several authentic Italian meals. The food was delicious!! We also got a recipe booklet to take home so we can make the dishes at home. Clara was also responsive on last-minute logistics, which I really appreciate. I intend to sign up for another course the next time I visit Milan!

Our cooking class with Clara was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy! We met her early in the morning for coffee at a small cafe, then walked to the market to pick up our ingredients. Upon returning to her kitchen, we put on our aprons and went to work. We prepared a butternut squash gnocchi, fresh bread, veal stew, and a strudel for dessert. Clara speaks fluent English and was well organized. The class is scheduled perfectly where she is able to teach techniques but still has time for breaks and anecdotes. Once complete, we sat down to a beautiful lunch with wine from her family's vineyard. Clara is a gracious host and is incredibly helpful. She keeps a binder in her kitchen of examples from grocery stores back in the United States to know what to look for when trying to recreate her recipes at home. Since returning, we have emailed her several questions and she has been responsive and happy to help.

Big recommendation when you visit Milan. The cooking class was very interesting, and Clara is an amazing host. I encourage everyone to take her cooking classes :) I won't forget the recipes and joy when I will turn back home!

What a wonderful experience! I have been to many cooking classes. This one is truly special. Our chef Clara is very passionate about Italian cooking by using the seasonal and local ingredients. You truly get to be a local for a few hours. This is a very small group (6 people), so you will have do some real cooking and this is an intimate setting. If you are in Milan, don’t miss this. 👍👍👍

We started the morning with a visit to the colorful local market where we got fresh products for our cooking. Clara explained about Italian cheeses, fruit and vegetables, and how to shop them in the right season. We than arrived to Clara'a home, and after a short welcome we started cooking. Clara is a charming person and a great chef. Her kitchen is spotless and very well equipped. We prepared spinach gnocchi, eggplant permasan, mozzarella tomato salad, melon prosciutto, and tiramisu. Clara is excellent host and instructor, and throughout the time, we got many tips and inside information of Italian food and culture. We end out having the most amazing lunch, that we very proudly prepared, with a good Italian wine. This is an unforgettable experience. Not to be missed by fans of Italian cousin. Clara is a great chef, with charming personality, very good English, perfect host, and very eager to give a perfect experience. A real gem!

Clara is charming, knowledgeable, great chef and outstanding host. We started in nice tour of a local market where we got the fresh supplies. We got nice explanation of seasonal fruit and vegetable shopping, Italian cheeses and prosciutto. It was very colorful, tasty and educational. We than reached Clara's kitchen. It is spotless highly organized well equipped. We cooked eggplant parmesan, spinach gnocchi, and prepared tiramisu, melon prosciutto, and tomato mozzarella salad. Through the cooking we got many tips and tastes of inside Italian secrets. We ended with outstanding lunch of the very delicious food we prepared with great Italian wine. This is an outstanding experience. Highly recommended for anybody interested in Italian cousin. Clara's charming personality and passion to teach and share her knowledge, really makes this cooking class so special!

For a few hours I felt I was living as an Italian, fresh food shopping and cooking in community. Clara makes everything so very achievable in an encouraging environment within a spotlessly clean kitchen. Lots of tips and product explanation as we went. Simple, best quality ingredients is the secret to it all. The meal at the end was delicious and a wonderful fulfilment of the whole adventure. This was a highlight of my Trip of a Lifetime to Italy.

This cooking class was probably my favorite thing I've done in Milan! Clara is an excellent host and chef who welcomed our group into her home and took us on a fun and informative market trip to pick up ingredients for our meal. She is an excellent teacher and in additional to being a great chef, is a sommelier. Our winter menu was delicious and paired exceptionally well with great wine. I would HIGHLY recommend this experience to all. I would consider myself a beginner in the kitchen and by the end of the class I felt like I could tackle many new dishes. Thank you again, Clara, for a great day!

Clara is amazing! This is one of the best food tours I've ever done. Market visit was so nice because you get to see the fresh ingredients you buy that you will cook with. Clara was so warm, inviting, knowledgeable, friendly and funny. So organized and very knowledgeable. It felt like we were a group of friends rather than a tour group. It was a nice intimate size so it felt very personalized and customized. Would highly recommend this tour!

I liked the fact that we went to the farmer's market and Clara taught us about eating fresh and seasonally. She was very knowledgeable about foods and wines and their pairings. Clara was a very passionate, personable, happy person and a delight to be around. The class was small and intimate. It was small enough to be able to talk to each person and get to know your cooking partners. It was a great way to learn some new cooking skills and be introduced into the Milan culture. We would do it again.
