Ken and Randy were excellent tour guides. Ken’s English was fantastic and he had so much knowledge of Costa Rica and all the flora and fauna. Great sense of humor as well. I did feel the people on this tour felt it was way too long, especially for the over 65 crew. Yhr Monkey place was a big disappointment as it was filthy, and unkempt. Fondly, The Hudson’s from Texas

This tour really showcases the beauty of Costa Rica. I was a bit nervous about the hanging bridges, but they are very secure, and the view is once in a lifetime. The tram ride is spectacular too. It was also incredible to visit the monkey house. They are so fun to watch, and two of them actually decided to use me as a ladder. It is a memory I will never forget. Our driver, Alex, did a great job of both driving and providing lots of great information. He included laminated cards for us to better understand the flora and fauna we would be seeing, as well as the geography and different regions of the country. He treated us to a short hike and botanical lesson at the small coffee farm behind our lunch stop. I really learned a lot and would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

We went on the Monteverde Sky Tram and Hanging Bridges experience. Overall, it was absolutely breathtaking and we took some amazing photos of monkeys and the forest. Our tour guide Alex was very warm and knowledgeable. We bought fruits at a local stand and had traditional casados for lunch which was very vegetarian friendly (included in trip). Highly recommend bringing a rain jacket. Only reason this experience gets 4 stars instead of 5 is poor communication before the trip. Booked through Expedia who could not contact the company, only phone number listed is outside the country, difficult to find a local number. Had to call several times before someone from the company picked up. Adriana was not very responsive to email and told us the our pickup time would be 20 mins before we were actually picked up. Despite these initial hiccups, I still recommend this experience because of it’s value. Long drive with transportation included, meals, and a tour guide is definitely worth it for a small group of 2 or 3! Of course, the views speak for themselves

Prompt pick up at hotel, lots of stops along the way for fresh fruit and bathroom breaks. Many lunch options and at a lovely cafe. Great weather for the tram a bridge walk! Amazing people and experience. Alex was a great guide getting the group safe back to San Jose.

Our tour guide, Oscar, did an excellent job to provide us with a wonderful experience. He was patient and answered all of our questions. Above all, he was very knowledgeable about the various weather patterns across Costa Rica and how it affects the wildlife and plants in general. The highlight of our trip was the walk on the hanging bridges, learning more about the plants and species on our hike, and ride on the sky tram.

Alex was great! He took us to some amazing spots. The monkeys were so cool and the sky walk and tram has some terrific views. Alex was also a kind and safe driver. I suggest taking this tour!

We decided to book a trip to Costa Rica for Valentine’s Day’s weekend. We did it very last minute. Stay at the Doubletree Hilton in San Jose. The only thing left was booking our tours. We decided to go to Monteverde Sky tram and hanging bridges tour. Our tour guide (Fernando) picked us up from the hotel and off we went. He made a stop to pick up some fruits from a local fruit stand. Everything was very delicious. Then we made a stop to see some cappuccino monkeys. We also stop at a coffee farm. Here we got to see how they grow and had some lunch. Very tasty! Then we headed to the hanging bridges and sky tram. It was a long day. 13ish hours all together. But very worth it. Had a blast, and our tour guide was great. Highly recommend.

Fernando was Top Tier. One of the best tours I’ve been on. He was very knowledgeable and helped us understand no only what we were doing, but the history behind it. 10/10 I highly recommend

Fantastic Trip! Fernando was the best guide, informative, fun, always keeping us up entertained! I would highly recommend, the landscapes are beautiful and well worth the hours in the cab.

Alex was an amazing guide and driver. He was knowledgeable about the area, plants and animals. He knew the roads well and we felt safe with him. Loved the stop near Monte Verde with Victor and his family - taste the coffee even if you don’t like coffee, it’s amazing. Our tour at Monte Verde was educational and amazing. We loved how different the climate was from the Jaco area. Suggestion to wear pants and bring layers, including a rain coat if you don’t like being damp. It was colder than we thought it would be! Our tour went from 6:30am-7:30pm from the Jaco area so plan on a long day if you are staying more south.

What an opportunity to travel through the "real" Costa Rica. To travel from San Jose you go through several small towns and many winding roads. Several stops were made along the way because it takes about 3 hours to reach Monteverde from San Jose. But the traveling was worth it! Guillermo, our local tour leader, and his stepson, Steven (who was training as a tour guide), were excited to share their country with us. Guillermo made unscheduled stops so we could take photos of the amazing countryside, as well as the Howler monkeys in trees along the road, and a hot springs hidden along the roadway. The hanging bridges were fun but the sky tram was an awesome experience riding through the clouds. I would definitely recommend this excursion to everyone.

Trip was okay. We enjoyed our drive to the Monteverde park. Stops were made at fruit stand and we have seen the same guy twice already from the other tours very overpriced fruits. Our guide was friendly and pleasant. Lunch was at a nice ethnic place with coffee plants in the backyard. The monkey place was a good experience but in my opinion all of these above activities took time away from the real attraction. We were given only half hr for the tram ride in which the views of the forest were awesome. And tour on the bridges was hour and half. The main attraction is amazing wish we spent more tome there than other redundant places. Overall it was a okay tour.
