Its is a long drive, however the sceney was beautiful and the van was very comfortable so was not an issue for us when compared to the incredible beauty of the falls...It is a workout but worth every step. Then went to the lagoons which were almost otherworldly...a mist hung over them and we all got on rafts and went around the lagoon. I would drfinitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area...worth every peso!

The waterfalls and lake were beautiful. You can swim at the lake, we weren’t told and didn’t bring swimsuits. We took a raft out to the small island. You can also zip line down at the waterfalls for an additional 650 pesos. It was a really long day, it ended up being three hours longer than advertised. The van was nice, the driver played a movie in Spanish on the way back to San Cristobal. It’s a very bumpy ride, so it was hard to sleep. We made a few stops around the lake and also went to the Guatemala side.

This is not the tour for anyone with motion sickness! The driver (not guide) was good but rushed to finish the journey fast in the very winding roads for 4 hours towards Montebello lakes first. He didn’t speak a word of English and we had to find out from other passengers about the itinerary each time. He also reversed the itinerary and we ended up going to the best part of El Chiflon waterfall last instead of first during sundown and shops closed. We all had to scamper to see the waterfalls and one passenger fell down on the steps back because it was too dark to see! We didn’t get back till almost 11pm since 8am. We fell bad for the driver as he had to maneuver in such hard road conditions and bad traffics for almost 14 hours! We did tip him for his hard work. The waterfall was the only thing worth seeing in the end, but NOT the rest with the agonizing journey and lack of communication from the start.

Really nice experience, it worth it ! The guide is not speaking English but we had a very good group coming from different countries around the world. Amazing lake and waterfalls. Just be careful with your phone, we are really close to Guatemala, keep airplane mode for your data 😉

Fun experience. First you do Chiflon waterfall and the Lake Montebello, before ending at a lake on the Guatemalan border. You won’t get back until 9ish, so I would not plan to do anything intense like Palenque the next day.

We had a great time on this tour! We booked it kind of last minute and did not regret it at all. The drive to the waterfalls and lakes was absolutely beautiful, and the raft ride on the lakes was the best part.

El servicio de transporte es muy útil. Los paisajes maravillosos, los lugares visitados hermosos. La agencia te transporta pero no da servicios de guía de turistas que permitan conocer más sobre cada lugar.

Fueron muy amables y atentos en todo momento, mi reservación se canceló sin darme cuenta y al momento me contactaron para revisar si todo estaba bien, por suerte pude volver a hacer la rsva. Al momento de recogernos el chofer nos contacto para poder ubicarnos y al final del tour olvide un traje de baño y el conductor me contacto para poder entregármelo.

Esta experiencia fue para mis padres que cumplieron 50 años de casados y sus hijas les regalamos este viaje. Quedaron muy felices por esta hermosa experiencia y además queremos dar las gracias al guía Yonatan por su gentileza y excelente servicio.

Fue una experiencia súper agradable en estos lugares, llegamos a San Cristobal de las Casas y de ahí hay en el centro hay agencias de viajes que te llevan a estos destinos , no muy caros , me encantaron !!!

Yo viaje en paquete con una visita previa a cascadas el Chiflón, visite lago trinidad, lago internacional y lago pojoj. En este ultimo te permiten navegar en balsas a una isla en medio del lago donde puedes nadar un rato y después regresar por $150 por persona. Tome mi tour con otisa.viajes en San Cristóbal de Las Casas, es algo largo el recorrido en carretera pero valió la pena conocer 2 destinos en un mismo día por los tiempos y es ideal para escapar un fin de semana.

Excelente servicio todo organizado y muy bien sin ningún contratiempo, vale la pena q te acompañen y te guíen por los lugares. Ellos te van llevando hasta para escoger el mejor horario. Siempre al pendiente y es un viaje q se disfruta mas cuando vas con ellos. Todos muy amables y te dan las mejores opciones en todo. Prácticamente atravesamos Chiapas y lo volvería a hacer espero volver pronto. Gracias
