I finally got to see the Mont Saint Michel and Yannick explained the history so well! He was so amazing and he was super passionate about what he does!

It was a wonderful experience right away from the pick up. Our guide started explaining rich history of bayuex and the vicinity of bayuex, mount saint michael and so many things. I would recommend this to anyone planning for a one day trip to mount saint michael from bayuex.

Great experience don’t miss visiting here. There is so much history and interesting tales about how it was built and why. Our guide was most informative and had a great sense of humour!

The tour was the best I took so far. The guide Pierre was knowledgeable, interesting, fun and catching. I loved the personal insight, being a local Pierre could also give me advice on things to do / places to eat in the area. 100% recommended!

This was an excellent tour. Yanis clearly has a passion for the area. Not only is he an expert on Mont Saint-Michel but he has so much knowledge on WWII, so the trip to MSM is loaded with all the WWII stories you'd like. Plus he is a really interesting and fun person. I was lucky enough to do a different tour with Yanis' team mate, Pierre. I was very grateful for the work and planning they have put into their tours.

Gwen was an excellent guide to this special place. His narrative of the history begins on the ride to Saint Michel. Growing up in the area, and visiting as a youth, gives him a great insight into the multiple periods and changes that have transformed the Abbey. His explanations just didn't cover facts, but related them to the thinkkng of each time period. He pointed out subtle structures, that without the detailed knowledge he relates, would be missed by the unguided tourist. Great a d meaningful day.

The full day tours led by Yannick were the best part of our trip to Normandy. Yannick is knowledgeable, enthusiastic, fun, and extremely well prepared. His book of maps and photos added such value to the tours. His info appealed to both those who had seen Band of Brothers and Saving Private Ryan as well as those who didn’t. Yannick included many true stories that added special meaning to the tour (and sometimes brought tears to our eyes). He was open to all our questions and made it clear he was happy to spend time with us. This is more than just a job to Yannick; he made us feel like we are his friends.

Viator hooked us up with HQ Company tours. MicKael Patin, Co-manager, of HQ Company Tour was fantastic. He spoke excellent English (and other languages) and drove us safely from Bayeux to Le Mont Saint Michel (and back) for a fabulous and informative tour of that amazing historical place. MicKael was personable and guided us through the entire abbey. The all-inclusive price was quite reasonable. We could not have asked for a better tour.

HQ Company Tour is THE BEST! Less than one week prior to leaving for France, I received a message from our hotel asking if we could change the day of our shuttle to Mont St Michel because they did not have enough people. In order to make this happen I needed to make significant changes to our itinerary as it impacted a Normandy tour and hotel stays. I tried several times to make the necessary adjustments. I would book tours through trip advisor/viator for both Mont St Michel and Normandy, breathe a sigh of relief and then hours later receive a message from the tour operator that they were not offering a tour for that date, even though it appeared to be available through the trip advisor/viator site. Finally, I was referred to HQ Company Tour! Through their website, I reserved a full day tour, NOT just a shuttle, to Mont St Michel and a half day Normandy tour. Once booked they took care of everything. Our guides, Pierre and Gwen were amazing; experienced, well educated, knowledgeable and able to convey their knowledge in an understandable manner, great at meeting us where we were at in our understanding of history, easy to understand, and especially passionate about their country and its history, which drew us in and made us want to learn more. Not to mention their website was user friendly and responses timely. During our France vacation we spent time in Paris, Versailles, and Bayeux. Our HQ Company Tours of Mont St Michel and Normandy were NOT just tours, they were experiences and the highlight of our time in France!
