We were on a Backroads hike/bike trip in Palm springs and Joshua Tree. If you know Backroads, they know the best places, where to go and who to do it with and they selected Brennan for our guide. Until this trip we had mostly been in the parks and in nature so I did not have a good feel for Palm Springs. Brennan gave us the most wonderful tour with the history of Palm Springs, the architecture and then the homes of the old Hollywood celebrities and what brought them to Palm Springs. I love facts like: in the olden days, movie stars could not venture more than 100 miles from a set in case they were called back to redo a scene. Palm Springs is 100 miles from Hollywood. Also, paparrazzi could not stalk the stars outside of 85 mile radius so Palm Springs was the perfect place for them. Much of the architecture is geared towards privacy. So interesting. Brennan was the best!

Brennan was a fabulous guide. We met in the parking lot behind the Big Wheel bike rental shop and traveled around 3 different neighborhoods with Brennan describing different types of architecture and landscape design. He was so friendly and full of information!! He was a considerate and personal guide. We had a great time and definitely would recommend this tour with Brennan.

Brennan is by far the most outstanding tour guide I have ever encountered. The bike tour he led was absolutely spectacular. His friendly demeanor and extensive knowledge made the experience even more enjoyable. I was fascinated by the mid-century modern architecture he showed us and was truly impressed by his expertise. It is fun to learn about the different architects and see the actual homes they designed. Brennan is knowledgeable and enthusiastic. And biking is easy on the flat streets of Palm Springs. This is a great way to spend a few hours with friends while vacationing in the city.

This Palm Springs bike tour was AMAZING! Brennan is the best tour guide. Our group of 10 took a very leisurely tour of three different Palm Springs neighborhoods. The biking is super easy and the roads are flat. Really interesting architecture and landscaping; great commentary from Brennan. Made a stop for optional coffee and another for a special surprise. Didn't hurt that it was an absolutely gorgeous day in Palm Springs. I think I will do this tour on my next visit even if it is 100% the same :) I absolutely fell in love with Palm Springs on this tour!

Our trip with Brennan was wonderful! He is so knowledgable about the history of Palm Springs and it's architecture. We learned so much. The weather was great and the bike riding was easy. Definitely a highlight of our trip!

Brennan was tour guide extraordinaire, right down to his stylin’ socks! He’s a wealth of knowledge about Palm Springs architecture, history, and of course he knows where all the Hollywood stars lived. The biking was easy, the pace was relaxed. All in all, it was a fun learning experience.

This was absolutely the best experience! We have done ghost tours in Savannah, GA and fishing trips in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, but Brennan is the best!! Very knowledgeable and so much fun! I recommend this to everyone! Not strenuous at all, and you even get a break!

Brennan was an amazing guide and had vast knowledge of the architecture and history of the Palm Springs modernist movement. It was so much fun biking around these historic neighborhoods and getting the inside scoop on its previous inhabitants. I would wholeheartedly recommend this tour to EVERYONE!

My wife and I, both in our late 70s, took this tour during Palm Springs Modernism Week. This was during our first visit to PS, and it was one of the absolute highlights. Brennan was a fabulous tour guide with a most engaging presentation style and delightful sense of humor. He is so passionate and knowledgeable about modernist architecture and architects, and about local history. The three neighborhoods that we visited all had terrific examples of modernist residential design, and Brennan provided a great deal of information about the history of many of the houses, including the architect and the past and present owners. And Brennan's tour route was easily navigable and safe. Highly recommended!

Brennan was really knowledgeable and made it fun! I went alone while my husband was at a conference and I spent all evening telling him all about the fascinating things we’d learnt on the tour! I loved the coloured doors, the vintage cars and, of course, the stunning backdrop of the mountains. It was great to see where ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ was filmed. Definitely recommend

I like bike tours of cities to get my bearings and flesh out the city I am in. I have toured many cities and found Palm Springs to be the perfect city to tour by bike. Streets are wide, drivers are extra careful and the while city is rimmed by gorgeous mountains, and a few with snow. That is the set up for a full morning of Palm Springs history given by Brennen as we toured 3 different neighborhoods. After the tour I felt like I had a Master Class while enjoying fresh air and sunshine! Fantastic experience!

Had a great time hearing about the mid century modern homes in South Palms Springs. You can tell Brennan enjoys his job and puts a lot effort into it, The bike was leisurely but saw a lot.
