One stop was skipped and they tried to make it up with an extra drink at another restaurant where neither drink was very good.

Great tour guide….our entire group loved John as much as the food and drinks! Great choice of restaurants!

Although we visited HH many times, we had never discovered the Tapas & Mixology tour. It was a super fun adventure that we have shared with all of our friends & family since returning home! We couldn't have asked for a more knowledgeable & personable tour guide than John. He guided us on a short walking tour to a handful of very unique & delicious restaurants on the island where we had the opportunity to meet the chefs & hear their story along with fun trivia & history of HH via John. Highly recommend this tour as a fabulous addition to a memorable HH vacation!

Was fun, enjoyed it. Would be better with more stops... but a must do if your new to the area.. I suggest doing it first thing, most of the places we had already visited for food and drink before the tour.

Interesting and fun food and drink tour. Would recommend. We sampled 5 types of food and was offered off menu items.

A great way to spend a few hours. John was very personable. We enjoyed several different categories of food and enjoyed drinks to complement the tasting.

First experience with a food tour and it was a good one. John the tour guide was entertaining and knowledgeable. All the restaurants were easy to walk to with small samples of food and liquor being provided. We have been coming to Hilton Head for years but had not been to these restaurants and plan to return to them in the future.

This was an amazing experience I will never forget. What a great way to spend my birthday. So many surprises and willing to accommodate special needs and allergies to the best of their ability. The tour guide, John, was fantastic.

The tour was excellent. Had some great food and conversations. We had a group of 4 and then there was a group of 2 with a young one from NY. Food was really good at all the locations. I’m not a sushi fan but those in our group who were said it was great. John was a great guide. Nice time. We would do it again. Johns a wealth of knowledge about the area and places to go.

Highly recommend! The tour was a gift to us and it was perfect while we were visiting Hilton Head. Drinks and food (larger portion than regular tapas.. you will be full at the end) were served at each location. Calamari taco, fresh HH fried shrimp, sangria and egg nog to just name a few. All were very delicious and we got personal conversation with head chef (even on Christmas Eve!) John was a great host making it an overall fun experience.

We had a very entertaining host and we loved the personal time with the chef at each restaurant. We particularly enjoyed the whiskey room. We had the best Manhattan we’ve ever had which had been barrel aged there. The bar manager explained how they barrel aged their bourbon and Manhattan’s and gave us some printed documentation on how to do it ourselves. We made a mistake doing this on the last day of our trip to Hilton head as we would have love to revisit some of the restaurants for full meals.

Highly recommend this tour, run by the affable John who kept us entertained throughout. We tasted 4 different food plates at local restaurants, each one better than the last. We loved speaking to chef/owner Tim Nelson who had defeated Bobby Flay on his show. Our favorite plate was the mahi-mahi tacos. But even better than the food, were the mixed drinks including a frozen Arnold Palmer with sweet tea vodka, a fall shanty-tasting IPA beer, rum punch, and especially delicious was the mini fall flavored margarita. We then visited the Whiskey Room and had the best Manhattan I’ve ever had accompanied by an in-house made chocolate confection. The bartender was a whiskey expert and explained how they age in their own barrels. A quick trip to taste frozen yogurt finished off the day and we left feeling very full and a little buzzed.

John was full of fun facts about the island and made it into a game. The food and drinks were fantastic. Chef Tim came out to greet us and tell us about his creations. It was a great afternoon!

Our food tour was awesome As was our host John. Meeting the owners and sampling their creations was amazing. The small bites were all bursting with flavors & our cocktails were both unique & refreshing. Our mouths were bursting with flavors starting with Pho & dumplings and ending with a specialty cocktail & a burger to die for! A taco with smoked salmon & chocolates with bourbon ....need I say more! If you’re looking for something fun to do & you enjoy food. make a date with your special someone - take this food tour - you won’t regret it!

Awesome food tour? John, our tour guide, was friendly and very knowledgeable about the restaurants and local area. The food we were served was absolutely delicious!! Service was great, cocktails were great. This is a must do food tour!!!
