Guide was friendly and knowledgeable. I was travelling alone with my 9 year old child and we felt safe. Guide offered to take lots photos of the 2 of us which was appreciated. Took us early and we missed the crowds :) Only thing I’d change is wish the guide would’ve offered us time to poke our heads in the shop and food stands at Teleferico, instead of us having to ask. Overall great experience with Llamingo Travel.

The local knowledge shared by the guide, Christian, made the trip come alive and gave me many insights into life in Ecuador. His friendly and helpful demeanour made the trip particularly enjoyable. Mitad del Mundo was a very interesting and worthwhile experience. The demonstrations of the impact of Coriolis force at the equator were fascinating.

We had a wonderful tour to mitad del mundo and the teleférico! Christian was our tour guide and was great! Christian was very informative about the history of Ecuador.

Christian guided us through Quito! We went to La Virgen del Panecillo and also to La Mitad del Mundo. Christian explained a lot of details and the city and even he had the patience to let us go inside the monument even though we decided to go where the original line is at Lat 0°0’00”. Great experience I highly recommend this one

Fernan was my guide on this tour and I am amazed the information that he shared to me. He even clarifies and explained the difference between Cotopaxi volcano and Mt. Everest and how I wish he was my guide in Cotopaxi as I understand fully the difference between the two! And also, explained how the artist gets the inspiration of building the Virgin of El Panecillo. He is very knowledgeable and know his history. There's a tons of information but unfortunately we have only half day. He also make sure that I am enjoying the tour and checking if I am ok especially when we have to walk all the way to his car when he picked me up from my hotel. He park his car a bit far and most of the streets were all blocked on Sunday and no cars can passed and unfortunately my hotel is near to the Plaza and affected with this closure. And for those who have been in Quito, it's all uphill and downhill! Anyways, very informative and I learned a lot.

We had a great time. The Middle of the Earth was the highlight of the day. Fernando was an excellent guide!

This tour included a trip up the TelefériQo cable car, with excellent views and photo opportunities up top, guided time spent at the Intiñan Site Museum, and a quick photo stop in front of the Mitad del Mundo monument. While these are all touristy sites, they were exactly what we wanted to see and do in Quito. Christian was a wonderful guide - he took lots of creative photos for us, took time when walking since we weren't used to the altitude, and even gave us recommendations for our trip.

The attractions were really spectacular! We especially enjoyed the experiments portion... very interactive. The best part of the day was meeting our tour guide Daniel. Of all the guides we encountered during our stay in Quito, Daniel was by far the most competent, knowledgeable, and informative. 5 stars!!

We were picked up promptly at our hotel. Our guide Daniel was personable and knowledgeable. He navigated us up the cable car first then on to Mitad del Mundo. It was the perfect half day trip for our family and we appreciated spending the time with Daniel. At the end he dropped us off at a restaurant for lunch so we could continue exploring the old town on our own.

Daniel could not have been a better guide. He had a great sense of humor and was up to date on current affairs. He watched out for use and brought umbrellas when it started to rain at the equator. If only all Viator guides were as great bad he was. Maybe I can adopt him and his family.

You cannot come to Ecuador and not visit this place. Lots to learn. I learned so much about the culture and science. It is a must go! FYI - it's not easy to balance the egg on the head of a nail despite being on the equator! Had a great and fun guide. I would go back. I did not have the time to visit the old site - just took a couple pics. You could spend a whole day here between the two sites. Lots to see on the way too!
