Having done several hop-on-hop-off bus tours in Europe, I was looking forward to this one in Milan. But it was very disappointing. The tour hosts seemed to not want to be there, and the audio commentary often didn't match the location.

Booked at Duomo stop. €20 per pax. About 1.5 hr round trip and 25mins interval. Hop on hop off. Last bus 8pm. Not very punctual. Blue line very busy traffic. Multi lingual via earphone jack.

My husband wanted to take this bus tour since we didn't have much time in Milan and at least we'd get a sense of the city. It's a hop on/hop off, but we just rode the whole loop as did most of the rest of the people, probably because it was cold outside and the bus was warmer. Unfortunately, because it was December, the top deck had a plastic cover to keep the heat in which meant you couldn't take decent photos of anything. Comically, my husband was lulled to sleep by the motion of the bus and spent most of the tour napping. When he was awake he said the headphones where shocking him and so he stopped using them. I noticed a spark when I plugged mine in. So something is up with their audio system. I thought the audio information was okay, but the price at 22 euros a person was too high for what you got. I wouldn't do this again.

My husband & I visited Milan for a couple of days Sept 12 & 13, 2018, and since we were short on time, decided to take one of the open top tours from Duomo Square to get an overall feel for the city. The guy at the bus stop, an Egyptian (he said) with glasses, ripped us off for 40 euros. He told us the total price would be 44 euros for the 2 of us, and my husband gave him 3 paper bills, ( 2 20's and 1 five). He then claimed he didn't have change (after he'd been there all day!!!) and gave my husband the 5 euro bill back and told him to go across the street and get change. I waited there and he gave me the 2 tickets. When my husband returned and gave him 4 euro coins, he said "Where's the rest of it??" We both then reminded him he had kept the 40 euros and put the money in his pouch, and he denied it. We started to quietly argue with him, and he then said..."I am Egyptian! I wouldn't cheat you!!" What a joke. Out of desperation and exasperation, and because the bus was approaching, we chalked it up to a bad experience and gave him another 40 euros. The tour itself is a joke. The recorded commentary is laughable. You have no idea where you are in relation to what is being said on the recording. When we arrived back at our hotel that evening, we sat down and went all through our receipts and finances for the day, and sure enough....we were short the 40 euros. Ripped off and left a bad taste in our mouth. Would never recommend this company, and be VERY careful this doesn't happen to you! This guy probably does this all day long.

I am used to take a tour with these buses when I visit a city for the first time as I reckon the best way to have a glimpse of the city. In Milan there were this company and the international City Sightseeing. I choose Open Tour Milan as I thought that being a local company they will do a better service. I was wrong. Same route, same price of city Sightseeing with a very bad frequency, a poor customer service onboard and in my opinion a price to expensive comparing with the few things you might see in Milan.

Took the tour around the city, i think is a perfect option if you are visiting Milano for 1 or 2 days. You can hop on and hop off the bus anywhere and there are two nice routes. Extra thanks to Paolo B, for going the extra mile, literally.

I did this tour today. This Company really needs to have live guided tours in the min languages. The commentary was out of sync with what we were seeing. I missed so much by trying to see what the recorded message was talking about. “Near here’ is not good enough when talking about the worst serial killer in Milan!! We’d paid 22€ to be given a good tour and got something very mediocre.

This was a terrible experience to say the least and 1 star is very generous !!! We arrived in Milan on Friday. We purchased a two day excursion on the open tour bus to start on Saturday and finish on Sunday. We paid 66 euros for 2 adults and 2 children. We started our tour on Saturday which was fine nothing exceptional. On Sunday, as we got on to the bus we were refused entry as the person who did the tickets for us had put 1 day but charged us for 2!!!! This turned like a nightmare as the bus hostess decided to ask police who intervened much to our disgust and humiliation with two young kids!! Luckily we managed to get an online proof bank statement!!! At this point the manager Katerina was extremely helpful, but explained that because our ticket were still invalid, we had to stay on the bus for the entire route and we were unable to hop on and off ! The reason she gave was, if we were to hop off we would go through that very long explanation of their error!!!! We have written a formal complaint to no avail... I took to writing this review to warn other traveler to make sure they get what they pay for and double check their tickets. Never leave it to trust WE WOULD NEVER GO WITH THIS YELOW BUS COMPANY AGAIN !!!

This is a waist of money! Not reliable as a hop on hop off bus! Suppose to show up every 20 minutes, took 30 minutes and 3 busses to pass by from the red hop on hop off busses! (Better use this company). The tour guide is not accurate, information given is not aligned with location. In addition they sell it as a 2 line service. How can it be when line 2 only shows up 3 times a day?!?! Only good thing is that they have enough spaces, I believe that must have been a sign not to hop on.

We listened to the English channel through our headsets and couldn't help laughing each time the woman reading her PRE-RECORDED script kept messing up. It was clear that she thought her mistakes would be edited out as she kept stopping and starting over again, but the company left all of her mistakes in. Besides that, it's just a boring tour. It was telling that so few people were getting off at the stops. With the exception of the Duomo and the train station, there just didn't seem to be anything compelling at any of the stops. Just a lot of congested buildings, many of them covered in graffiti. We've done hop-on hop-off buses in several other cities including London, Vienna and Paris and enjoyed all of them. But this is definitely one to skip.

Before we took Hop on and Hop off, by that experience we were satisfied with our tour. but this year we tried this Open tour Milan and from my point of view I don't recommend this. First Open tour Milan line 2 comes 3 times per day, and there is no chance for hop on and hop off and if you decide to hop off you will wait for 3 to 4 hours to take the next scheduled bus. Second the roof of the bus is made out of glass so I experienced it very hot. However with this tour they provided an audio guide that has a very good explanation of the tourist spots with your preferred language like Arabic.

We have take bus on Duomo place where you can choose from two competition company. One red and this Open Tour Milan. We choose Open Milan because we see that top level of bus is covered what is good for winter season. Guided audio tour is not synchronous. I have expect more information and better synchronization. We pass some attractions with delay of information. Must be better. My suggestion for future clients to take map from driver and look on map what attraction is on next station.

I only had a two days in Milan so I needed a tour that was short enough, but hit all the main spots. This tour was perfect, and definitely the cheapest! I especially loved the Fidenza Outlet village at the end of tour! Great for a spot of Milan shopping & lunch!

Out of all the touristic bus tours in the city, this is definitely the best one.I have done all of them and this one is the cheapest and the most comfortable as the top level is covered (which is awesome in these cold months). The route is perfect as well. It hits all the main spots without messing about & wasting time as some of the others taking you all over the place for no reason. Highly recommend.

We’ve regularly used tours of city’s to get a sense of what a city is about and offers . However we made an error of judgment on this tour - having used a rival red bus line previously. The tour guide - (audio) -was seriously out of sync with the geography of where we were . This lead to us being confused on what we were seeing/ where we were and also missing out on major features. The tour itself missed a great deal of historical landmarks and so overall it was poor.

Abbiamo acquistato i biglietti online.
