The itinerary of the excursion was simply perfect: first a walk across the Zocalo and a visit to the cathedral and the Aztecs ruins, then the Anthropology museum. But the best part was our guide Juan Castro, who accompanied me along this travel across centuries of Mexico's history, giving insights of the origins and evolution of the Mexican people and their nation.

I purchased this tour with the main reason being wanting to go to anthropology museum. I messaged the night before to confirm it was open because the previous guide told me it was not. Never received a response. When the tour guide arrived to pick us up, i posed the question again and he said of coarse it is open. Well at the end of the zocalo area tour he headed to the museum, and what do you know it was closed. I was so upset. He proceeded to try and kill time by taking us to polanco and showing us all the sky scrapers in the area including hotels and then car dealerships in the polance area. I did not sign up nor was i interested in knowing what hotels were in the area and what car dealerships were there. This was not a good experience. Ruined the last day of our vacation.

Great introduction to main attractions in Mexico City. Our guide Jorge was extremely knowledgeable. I would have liked more time to see more at the anthropological museum.

Viator was singularly unhelpful when we needed to cancel or reschedule this tour due to getting Montezuma's revenge the day before. First they invoked the "no cancellation w/in 24 hour rule to deny us a refund. Then we asked to reschedule our tour to the following day (a Monday) and they claimed their operator had no availability. WILL NEVER USE VIATOR AGAIN AS THEY ARE A COMPLETE AND UTTER FRAUD.

My wife and I took this tour with Olympic Tours (through Viator). The tour was amazing. Our guide, Frank, was a joy and very knowledgeable. There were only four of us on the tour, so we felt like we had a private guide. We started in the heart of Mexico City, visiting the Cathedral, National Palace and the anthropology museums. We had plenty of time at each stop, with Frank giving us extra time when we requested it. It was hard to select a favorite, but being Catholic, I really enjoyed the Cathedral. This tour is a great introduction to Mexico City and its culture.

A complete, very informative walking tour of the heart of Mexico City, followed by a visit to the anthropology museum. On our way to the starting point, we were able to see many of the important landmarks in the Paseo de la Reforma. The guides were very friendly and informative and made us really feel the history associated with the sights. We were able to really feel the people and its culture in detail I was personally very impressed and taken with my city center experience I highly recommend it !!! Gracias Gabriela y Jesus !!!
