Our guides took us through neighborhoods, parks and a local market on the way to Frida's museum. The bike trip was a highlight during our visit to CDMX.

I booked this bike tour because it says it started in Condessa, biked through a park, and had a guided tour of Frida’s house— none of that was true. After changing the pick up spot without notice, we spent 30 minutes biking on busy roads (one was 7 lanes) to Frida’s neighborhood, where we parked the bikes in a car park. There was no tour. Attached are screenshots showing the start point in the Viator app, and the description saying it started in Condessa and had a tour of a park and guided tour of Frida’s house. See the screenshots for where the actual start point (blue dot) is in relation to Condessa and the park (outlined in red). We paid $85 to commute on a busy road to stand in line for a self guided tour of Frida’s house. Huge disappointment! Just book an advance ticket for the house/museum and take an Uber.

The guides, especially Hector, were great. They were knowledgeable about the area and it’s history. They were also very concerned with our safety while biking which made us feel more comfortable. We explored the area before going to Frida museum including getting some delicious tostadas and going to an art market. It was a lovely way to spend the day in Mexico City and we wouldn’t have been able to do it on our own.

Nice tour guide but was stressful to ride through traffic and didn’t always feel safe. Group went at a bit of a fast pace for me. We got entrance to museum but we are left to explore on our own, rather than a guide which we thought we would get. Snack stops were nice.

Really glad we booked this tour a great way to see mexico City, including the Frida Khalo museum. Marco was a great guide , good explanations, and gave some really interesting information and insights on Mexican history. The cycling route was safe and well planned, mainly on cycle paths or roads closed to traffic. Thank you, Marco, for a great day 🙏

A fun adventure! We felt safe and well guided the entire time. A joy to go on an excursion and not worry if we were headed the right way, or might miss something. Definitely worth it to see other parts of Mexico City and take in the culture.

Our tour guide, Magic, was very helpful and flexible. She was great with the bikes, and made sure ours were safe and in good order. She told us about the neighborhoods we road through, and showed us around a great market in Coyoacán. We really appreciated her knowledge, kindness and flexibility. The Frida Kahlo Museum was an amazing experience, made better by our tour. You won't regret seeing Mexico City by bike!

This tour was incredibly fun, and the bike guides were excellent. I’m not an experienced bike rider and I felt very safe. A couple of things to keep in mind : The tour operator may cancel your tour and ask you to rejoin another. So in building your itinerary for Mexico City, have some flexibility in your schedule. You have to have some level of fitness and a basic ability to ride a bike to join this tour. (Seems obvious, right?) It is a 25-35 minute bike ride to and from the museum. Be advised you’re in a major city. There is traffic, air pollution, pot holes, and if you’re sensitive to altitude, you may want to think twice. I had not been on a bike in a couple of yours, and I’m not an experienced rider, and it was still lots of fun for me. I did take/need extra water. And as other reviewers have mentioned, this is not a guided tour at the museum. It’s an entrance ticket. We went to a cathedral, not to the market. And although we rode around in Coyoacán, we did not really explore it. We went to and from the museum with stops. All of that being said, this was a highlight of our tip. The guides made sure we were safe in traffic and that we had a fun day. I’d recommend this tour to anyone and I’d take another tour with this group if I had the time. Two big thumbs up.

Marco was an outstanding guide and companion as we toured these beautiful neighborhoods of Mexico City. We were a little apprehensive about biking in the city(!) but it turned out that it has much better and safer bike routes than our home city of Austin, Texas. Beautiful boulevards and parks and on every stop Marco would tell us the colorful history of our surroundings. Don’t miss Coyoacan, the highlight of the day!

My wife & I arrived at the starting point early to a warm welcome from Marcos, who was already there. He made sure our helmets and bikes fit properly, demonstrated how to follow his very clear hand signals, and told us what to expect on the ride. A visit to the charming Parque México just blocks away gave us a chance to get comfortable in the saddle. Marco related the history of the park and pointed out the contrasting character of the adjacent Roma and Condesa neighborhoods, with their mix of baroque, neocolonial, and art-deco architecture. A safe and easy 5-mile ride landed us in the quiet enclave of Coyoacan. There we visited the 16th-century Parroquia de San Juan Bautista, an exquisite Baroque treasure. Marco surprised us with hot fresh churros at the iconic coyote fountain in Coyoacan’s central plaza. Casa Azul: The tour reservation let us skip the lines and go directly into the Frida Kahlo museum, accompanied by our own private guide, a fully credentialed art historian. The experience was as moving as it was edifying. As we told Marco at the end, the tour rates a galaxy of stars.

We had a wonderful day on the bike tour. Our guide, Marco, spoke great English, and always made up feel safe on the road. It was pretty flat so we didn't have to cycle too hard. He also shared so much historical knowledge with us! The Frida Kahlo museum was very interesting and we love Coyorcan as well!

Angel was so great! It was just my friend and I so we got a lot of good conversation and rich history from him. The streets of Mexico City have a lot of cars and traffic but he made us feel taken care of and safe the whole ride. Coyoacán is gorgeous and he allowed us free time to eat and drink before the museum. The museum is absolutely amazing. Everything about this experience was perfect and so much fun. Highly recommend

This was amazing tour we got last min. Danny (Led) and Marc were both great! Especially Danny, he is like mother Goose protecting all of us slow ducklings. We got into Frida Kahlo just two days after arriving Mexico City And got guided tour as well. We got lucky!

Had a great time on this tour. Angel and Marco kept us together safely as we traversed the city through the various colonias (neighborhoods) as we made our way to the Frida museum. This is time and money well spent for an opportunity to see parts of CDMX that you probably wouldn't otherwise. Bikes are in good repair and helmets are provided and encouraged (some travel is on some busy streets on the way to Coyocan).
