This experience was wonderful. Milo the group tour was excellent. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable with a great sense of humour. Loved the Mekong Delta region and the authentic experiences of seeing local life. Very real and authentic. Paddling the small waterways, met a farmer, eating pho and drinking Vietnamese coffee with the locals. Watching the sunrise over the rice paddy fields, planting rice and catching a fish in the traditional way was awesome. The food was very nice and my room clean, cool and comfortable. Very well hosted by Kenny and Heui. Highly recommend this experience.

Excellent guide in Denis. From the moment Denis picked us up we had a wonderful time. He is so kind and nice and very knowledgeable about everywhere on the itinerary. Kenny and his staff were very helpful and the food was excellent. We will remember our sunset and sunrise cycles forever and our breakfast in the local market. I highly recommend this trip.

We had a great time here, would highly recommend to all visitors to Vietnam! We weren't sure whether we could fit a trip in to the south but really wanted to see the Mekong Delta and this overnight homestay/tour didn't disappoint. They make you feel really welcome and organise lots of activities which you wouldn't usually get a chance to do. Day 1 was the Mekong delta boat trip with a visit to the islands, traditional singing performance and temple visit. We also had a cooking lesson. Day 2 I particularly enjoyed the sunrise bike tour around the local farms with a delicious coffee stop followed by pho (not a tourist in site!) You get to see/do a lot for your money so it's definitely worth the cost. It was 35° when we travelled in April so the air con and and lots of shade at the accomodation was definitely appreciated. Would come back for sure :)

We had the most amazing, relaxing and enjoyable time during this trip! We chose the overnight option and stayed at family tiny garden. Our tour guide Son who was with us on the first day was super cheerful and brought us to all the places like coconut candy factory, temple and the mekong river. At the homestay we could enjoy delicious meals the super lovely family prepared for us. The rooms were very clean, with aircon and WIFI. They have lots of animals like cats, dogs and bunnies your can pet and the whole place is decorated with lots of love. On the second day we got up super early to enjoy the sunrise over the fields, learn about local farming, go to the local market and have breakfast there with our guide Kenny. This was truly a unique local experience as we were the only foreigners in this town. Once back at the homestay we also learned how to plant rice and catch fish with the homestay owner before having our last lunch and heading back to the city. Thank you so much for this amazing experience and for welcoming us at your tiny garden. We will truly never forget this trip!

I cannot rave enough about this home stay experience. Everyone was so welcoming, lovely, and enthusiastic! Dennis our tour guide was extremely friendly, energetic and most of all absolutely hilarious. He never failed to make us laugh, and even when we were hot and tired he always cheered us up. Dennis was so informative about everything; Vietnamese history, Pagoda’s and Vietnamese culture. Both days were jam packed with activities. On day one did a Mekong Delta tour, that ventured over to …. and we visited the coconut candy workshop, had a morning tea (fruit with tea), had the opportunity to hold a snake and had honey tea. The rooms were clean, tidy with super cold aircon and fans. In the afternoon we went for a bike ride around the village and Dennis stopped to show and explain various aspects of the village. We then got the opportunity to do some fishing in the pond, and caught 5 fish! We enjoyed an amazing dinner, alongside the BEST lemon drinks you will ever taste! You will never go hungry! On day two we went for a sunrise ride around the village and then went to breakfast at the local market. We ate THE BEST beef pho, i’ve ever had! We tried the traditional Vietnamese coffee and rode back to the home stay to enjoy a delicious banana and chocolate crepe. We got the explore the farm, looking at all the animals (goats, rabbits, cats and dogs). We got to plant rice and got to try and catch fish by hand! We got to make our own Banh Xeo, and enjoyed yet another delicious lunch. This has genuinely been the best experience ever! The locals are so welcoming, friendly, and the best people you will ever meet! Thank you again for having us!

We were met at our hotel by our tour guide, Dennis, who quickly became our friend. From cruising the Mekong, trying Snake wine, cycling through the local village and catching fish by hand, we’ve had such a wonderful adventure. Our group consisted of two adults and four teenagers, we all loved every moment. We were thrown out of our comfort zone, and embraced the beautiful culture. The food was the best we’ve eaten, the hospitality was like nothing I’ve ever experienced. Wonderful accommodation, clean showers and rooms. Kenny was a wonderful host, greeted us with a smile through out our stay. Kenny’s lemonade was a standout, we consumed at least 20 of them! Thank you Dennis, we’re going to miss you! Kenny, thank you for welcoming us into your home.

Our guide Dennis was very energetic. He took lots of great photos and had a cheerful personality. When we were tired at the end of the day he cheered us up. Great guide. There are lots of cute animals. Dogs, cats, puppies, birds, fish, rabbits, and a pig. Hui; one of the staff members, was excellent and helped us through activities like fishing and planting rice. He was very helpful and friendly. This is a great site. Will come again in the future

We had a wonderful time. Our guide Dennis was perfect in every way. The owner of the Family Tiny Garden couldn’t do enough for us. He even bought our daughter fresh mangos because he knew she liked them! The tour is very child friendly but also perfect for people without them! There were so many activities to do. It was incredibly fun. 10/10.

We had an amazing time at the Family Tiny Garden. The Mekong delta tour in day one was fun, but the homestay was by far our highlight. All staff was so friendly and did everything to make us happy! The biking tour for sunrise and the evening in this peaceful atmosphere where some of the greatest experiences we made in Vietnam! We can just recommend this to anyone who wants to get to know the real Vietnam and the people living in it!

This trip was such a great visit to the Mekong Delta region. We were collected by minibus and first arrived at Family Tiny Garden, where we we took some bicycles out for a short ride and looked at the local plants and environment. Then back to have a little cooking lesson, where everyone got to make a rice paper wrap and a filled pancake, which we ate for lunch. Then we drove to the River Delta and visited some handicraft centres on the islands. It was really interesting to see how the local people make a living now. We had a cute boat ride through the narrow waterways, too. Then, to visit a temple before returning to Family Tiny Garden for the night. Our room was in the garden, basic but very clean and comfortable. The site is really lovely, with room for plenty of day visitors and a few self-contained rooms for overnight guests, like us. We were the only people staying that night. The owner and staff were really kind to us and wanted to be sure we had a lovely time. The food was great, well cooked, and plenty of variety. Our guide for the trip was Son, who told us so much about the plants, fruit, and customs. Son enjoyed talking English to us, and we enjoyed his company as well as learning lots about Vietnamese culture. Son was a great guide, and such a nice young man, too. Day two began with a very early bike ride to see the sun rising over the rice fields, then breakfast in a local market. Once back at the Garden, we dressed in traditional clothing to try rice planting and catching fish, which we then had for lunch, before our drive back to Ho Chi Min City. I read other people's feedback to choose this trip, and I can now highly recommend the trip too. It was a great insight into the world of the Delta.

Words cannot describe this experience we had, Milo our tour guide was funny, kind and his knowledge was unbelievable!! This was the start of our vacation to Vietnam and so thankful to have this experience. The romantic private dinner last night as there were no other tours was an added touch to our evening. Milo I hope you can come visit Canada one year in your travels. Thanks again Family Tiny Garden for this incredible memory!

Amazing experience! It was a truly our highlight of vacation in Vietnam. To be honest, I was little worried how it’s going to be. However, I’m so glad we took this fantastic opportunity to experience the local Vietnamese life. The tour guide, Denise is so nice and attentive! He is always very caring and kind to children. We have two boys,10&13, and they had an amazing time during the stay. Denise proposed fun games for a team building and we had so much fun together. There were two other families together and we developed tight relationships. The manager at the family garden and people are also very nice and caring. I highly recommend this amazing experience if you come to Ho Chi Minh City!
