I had such a great time at the waterfall. Baltazry my tour guide (and diver) was amazing. The day started with a pick up from my hotel in Moshi. The company is based in Arusha and it was good that I didn’t get charged extra for Moshi pick up. After pick up we headed straight to Materuni falls, it was about a 40min drive then 45 min trek to the falls. We took our time enjoyed nature and when I got to the waterfalls the views were breathtaking. The company provided walking stick and also water boots (which was a life saver as it was pretty muddy on route.) After the waterfalls in the same area I was treated to coffee making coupled with singing and dancing. It was really great. We then headed to the hot springs. But not before we stopped off at a Tanzanite shop, I didn’t buy anything initially was wasn’t sure but Baltazary was kind enough to return after the hot springs. The Kikuletwa hot springs were really fun. Such a good vibe. Perfect mix of locals and tourists. With April being off season meant that there were not too many crowds. Baltazary allow me to spend as long as I want with not interruption. All in all it was an amazing experience I will definitely recommend

I had a great time. Andrew was my tour guide. He was timely and pleasant. I was able to take some nice photos. I really appreciated the fact that the company had rain jackets, boots and hiking sticks readily available. The lunch was very good and the coffee making experience was a delicious delight.

This experience was fantastic! Our guide Andrew was very informative and engaging. Our tour was on Easter Sunday, and Andrew suggested we go to the hot springs first because it was likely to be overcrowded in the afternoon, and boy, was he right! Just as we were leaving, a ton of people showed up. The coffee tour was so cool! Justin and his family were phenomenal! We got to see the whole process and even help. And the coffee was delicious! The hike to the falls was gorgeous, and the falls were absolutely breathtaking!!! 💯 would recommend!

The Trip with Safari Soles Tours to the Waterfall, Coffee Farm and Hot Springs was so amazing! Our Guide Andrew is a very good guy and give us a lots of Information. He also can take very good Photos! The coffee farm was a hilight, because the coffee team were so happy and do lots of motivation singing for prew self coffee! We never see this bevore. This day trip was the perfect way to experience Arusha and the Kilimanjaro area. We saw a stunning waterfall, learned about coffee with a delicious tasting, and had a fantastic lunch with vegetarian and nut-free options. Our guide, Andrew, was incredible – knowledgeable, friendly, and a great photographer! He made sure we had an amazing time and captured awesome memories for us. We swam in a beautiful swimming hole in the afternoon – the perfect ending to a perfect day! Highly recommend!

Our guide Andrew was the best guide we’ve had in our entire trip in East Africa. Andrew is very knowledgeable about all of the local customs and history. We enjoyed going to the waterfall, trying out coffee, and going to the warm Springs. On top of all of that Andrew is an excellent photographer so we captured some incredible memories. I highly recommend Andrew to anyone who is looking to explore the Kilimanjaro area . Wish i could give him 6 stars!

Our trip to the Materuni waterfalls and village was amazing. Andrew is a very knowledgeable guide who spoke excellent English, provided great photos / videos for me and my 3 friends, and taught us about the Materuni way of life and about Tanzanian current events. We wish we could do every trip with Andrew, and we will be sure to book him for any future trips in Kilimanjaro!

Our adventures to Materuni Falls & village were amazing. Our coffee making experience was interesting & interactive. A great experience even for a non coffee drinker! The locals were friendly & welcoming. The lunch they provided was simply delicious. We then made our way to Kikuletwa Hot Springs. It was so unexpected to find a natural & clean water source in such an arid environment, but it didn't disappoint. Simply beautiful! Finally, our guide Baltazary, was so friendly, accommodating, very humble & had a wealth of knowledge about our visits as well as the Tanzanian culture. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Throughly enjoyed this experience. The hike and waterfall were breathtaking. The coffee tour was very interesting and the locals were friendly and entertaining. After completing a 9 day safari tour, we had a couple of extra days in the area and were looking for something different to do. We discovered Safari Soles tours and called them. After talking with Bryson at the office, he suggested a customized day trip that included the water falls. We had an amazing guide - Baltazary. His English was excellent (without an accent and easy to understand). His knowledge was extensive and he was willing to modify our trip as the day progressed and we found more and different things that were of interest to us. As a result we had a day that was tailored to what we enjoyed and extremely memorable. Every tour this company does is private for your group only and the cost is more than reasonable for the service. I will not hesitate to recommend this company —- and we have used many different tour companies around the world.

We had an amazing waterfall, coffee and hot springs Tour with Andrew today. He showed us the amazing landscape of Materuni, explained a lot of different plants and their use by locals. The waterfall is really impressive. Local lunch was excellent - besides main dishes we really enjoyed tasting the fresh avocados as well as banana beer. Traditional Coffee ceremony was also fun and really interactive. Taking a bath in the natural paradies of hot springs was a perfect finish. We really recommend to do the Tour.

The tour was very nice and we enjoyed all three activités. The time spent in Chemka hot spring was very relaxing and fun with the fish pedicures and the turtles. Elliss is a pleasant, attentive and efficient guide.

Fabulous experience learning about coffee and all the processes it goes through before we drink it. The waterfalls are beautiful and the hot springs are refreshing.

Had a great day with Balthazar! He made sure we had our time and enjoyed the whole tour, from the waterfalls to the coffee tour and springs. He is a very pleasant person. He even had cold drinks for us to refresh in the car while transporting!

We had a great experience today with our guide Andrew! He is really nice, welcoming and answered to all our questions. The Materuni Village and Waterfall is amazing! The Arabic coffee experience was also great, and we bought a bag of coffee because we liked it a lot. The local lunch was really good. The hot springs have been really cool!
