The tour guide - Joel was very good and professional and patient with us as we were quite slow to trekking through the uneven and slippery terrain. The roads leading to the hotsprings is very very bad extremely uneven and no paved road that we have to travel

Augustino was a very kind gentleman who answered all my questions and was very polite during the whole trip. He knew answered to all of my questions. It was a very informative trip on how coffee is made but also with a brilliant view of the waterfalls too. The food offered was very nice. I had a very good time and I could recommend it to others who are looking to do something during the day.

The Materuni Waterfalls & Coffee tour was amazing; a lifetime experience that will stay with us forever. K.L.M. Safari’s was incredible; they took great lengths to ensure we were always taken care. Rama and the local tour agent were great, very attentive and answered our questions. The food was freshly prepared everyday and was very delicious. The coffee tour, demonstrations and tasting was excellent and the coffee delicious. We purchase a bag of coffee. Rama our driver was very safe, always on time and attentive to always ensure we have the best view and answering our questions. I will definitely recommend K.L.M Safaris for all your tours and safari needs.

The guided waterfall hike and coffee tour was a great way to spend our first day in Tanzania. The views on the hike were beautiful, and the tour guide was very knowledgable and kept the perfect slow pace for us given our jetlag. The coffee tour was really interesting, more to meet the local people and see how they live. Was great to be able to support them by buying some delicious coffee and banana beer!

I would recommend the Materuni waterfall and coffee tour with KLM Safaris! We left early and on time and we were the first to arrive at the waterfall so we had the whole place for ourselves! This was an amazing experience to enjoy the waterfall in all its calmness. Everything was well arranged. The guide is knowledgeable. The coffee tour afterwards is also a fun activity as they explain everything step by step, show it and even sing songs in the meantime. You also get to taste the coffee and have the opportunity to buy some coffee.

Materuni is a very aggressive, unfriendly village. "Guides" follow you and harass you that you shall pay, or ... I turned back.

We were two of us, car came for us at right time. We had nice walk with lot of information about tribes, materuni place, and whole tanzania, when we approached waterfalls, whole place was only for us, we take our time there and other groups starts coming when we were on our way back already. So GO EARLY! after walk back we stopped for coffee tour which was quite straightforward but also funny and right after that we moved for lunch (vegan) and rhat was amazing ...wirh polepole ride (on our demand) we came back home before 15:00 .. really nice day

Our last stop in our tour in Tanzania was Materuni Waterfalls which was awe-inspiring adventure. The hike to the waterfalls was pleasant as we walked through dense forests and crossed glistening streams, the air was filled with the sweet scent of nature. The knowledgeable guide who accompanied us added depth to the experience by sharing fascinating insights about the local ecology, history, and culture. Swimming in the cool, refreshing pool at the base of the waterfall was the highlight of the trip! The local community's warm welcome and genuine hospitality added a personal touch to the experience. The chance to engage with the local Chagga people, learn about their traditions, and even indulge in a cup of freshly brewed coffee made this visit even more enriching.

Amazing private tour of the waterfalls and coffee tour. Driver and tour guide were both local to Materuni. The guide Eno, was very knowledgeable about the local areas farming practices and could spot many chameleons. He helped me navigate the muddy path to the waterfalls and took some amazing photos for me. The coffee tour was fun and lively. It was a great experience.

We spent only one night in Moshi and had to leave the next day in the evening. Therefore, we were searching for something taking around half a day and the Materuni waterfalls and coffee tour were perfect for this occasion. We were picked up at our hotel at 9 am and were back at 3 pm. The first part of the tour was a half hour hike to the waterfall. The nature was wonderful and we learned a lot about the local plants and fruits and the culture of the Chagga tribe living there. Finally, the waterfall was stunning and we enjoyed bathing below it. It was really cold but quite refreshing after the hike. The second part was the coffee tour. For this part we went to a local village where we learned a lot about the coffee plant, the whole process of making Arabica coffee and a little bit of history. I realized how few I knew about coffee and found the tour extremely interesting. In the end, we enjoyed our selfmade coffee and had a local typical lunch containing banana soup, rice and vegetables. The food was extraordinarily delicious. Altogether, I can definitely recommend this tour. Our guide and the driver were really friendly and reliable and the tour was interesting and funny. There was also nearly always the possibility to find shelter against the hot sun, which concerned us a bit before the tour.

Materuni waterfall is the awesome attraction place to be when you are in Moshi. My guide took me through a banana plantation in a different quite places in the village, If you are a nature lover you would definitely love the place. When I arrived at Materuni waterfall I swim in the cold water, I would recommend this for those who are confident to swim in a cold water
