This was one of the most amazing experience of my life. The Safari was incredible, the Safari Driver Guide James was so thoughtful and explained so many things during the trip, a very ell prepared professional that made this whole experience even more amazing. The hotel was very good as well and all the staff very helpful and warm. My trip included 4 days in Diani after the Masai Mara Safari, and it was just amazing being there. A have to say, specially about the Safari Specialist Fred that organized everything according to my needs and my schedule, is amazing how he was always taking care of everything and available in case of need. Also he was really looking after me the whole time I was in Kenya, thank you so much to Natural World, the best company I could've asked for.

We had a fantastic time exploring the Savanna! We loved our drivers and we were so well taken care of. The place we stayed was gorgeous and we were able to watch the animal come to the watering hole while we ate our meals. Fantastic!

My boyfriend and I LOVED LOVED LOVED our safari with Natural World. The communication from start to finish was clear and prompt. Benson, our safari guide, and Peter, a training guide were incredible. Benson exerted maximum effort in ensuring we saw all types of animals while educating us about them. Our package included stays at Orngatuny Mara King Camp and the staff there were wonderful too. This trip was incredibly memorable and so much fun. I loved every second! Thank you Benson and Peter - we miss you!

My mum and I booked this tour for her 60th birthday. We really struggled choosing which tour / company but so glad we went with this one. Our experience was incredible and couldn’t have been any better. Our guides were friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. The accommodation was beautiful, along with the food (Sopa Lodge) . The safari was one of the best experiences, we saw everything we wanted to and had the best time! Thank you

We had a real great time with our Safari Tour. Our travel coordinator Fred went above and beyond to give us the best of our requests, he made everything worked out. Despite his busy schedule he made ahre yo meet us at the airport when we arrived and bwforw our departure in Nairobi. We also had the best/safari guide driver of all time and his name Is Juma. When you ever visit Nairobi please use yhis company and look for Greda nd Juma.

Tour guide (Sam) was fantastic. Super knowledgeable, went above and beyond for us, punctual and an all round great person. We met the other guide that was responsible for the other couple, and he was fantastic too. The hotel we stayed in that was booked through the Safari was very nice (Mara Serena). You didn't even have to leave the grounds to see plenty of wildlife. Helpful and kind staff at the hotel, one of the most special places we've stayed at. In spite of this, 4 stars only because the overall organization could've been better. We booked a fly-in/fly-out tour from Diani onto Nairobi Wilson. This caused some confusion, several times when we received the agenda, we had to flag that the end destination won't be Diani again, but Nairobi. This happened 3 or 4 times. We received our flight ticket the day before, and even that said return to Diani. So we had to ask the company to amend it again last minute. According to the original agenda we signed up for, our return flight would've been at 16:15. By the time we got our final amended ticket, for some unclear reason this was no longer possible so we had to fly out at 11:15 AM. This meant that we had to cut our morning safari short, we missed lunch at the hotel and couldn't spend our last day relaxing by pool and refreshing after the safari like we planned to. When we asked the company if they can provide some discounts for us, they said if we want, we can cancel the last day safari and head back to the airport straight away in the morning, which was obviously not what we wanted so we just left it at that. Once back in Nairobi, the driver was confused and we were driving up and down because he was given an incorrect address by the company which is not a big deal, but in light of everything else, seems to be a part of the larger problem. Overall, the tour is fantastic and we would 100% recommend it. To get 5 stars, the company needs to do better at being more organized and detail oriented to make the whole experience more seamless.

Our safari experience was amazing! My wife and I were picked up on time at our hotel in Nairobi by Patrick who brought us to the Fairmont Mara. We did a game drive in the afternoon then all day dark to dark on day 2. Day 3 we did another game drive before heading back to Nairobi to the airport. Patrick was unbelievable we saw all of the big 5 plus cheetah hippo hyena baboon giraffe basically every animal out there. Patrick was very knowledgeable on all the flora and fauna we will definitely ask for him again

This was the most amazing 3 days and best money ever spent on a trip. Dikdik guided us and is filled with knowledge and skill. To be honest I'm planning on reaching out to him personally for any future Africa safaris. He is a skilled driver, intuitive about our needs and had a knack for finding the most amazing animal encounters. He was also funny and we learned a lot about local customs and culture. I would highly recommend Dikdik as your guide! He also went above and beyond for us and we spent so much time in nature. I can tell how much he genuinely cares about people and animals. We saw so many elephants, giraffes, buffalo, gazelles, lions, hyena, hippo, crocs, ostrich, bkack and white rhino, zebra, cheetah, many species of birds including bateleur eagles, vultures, secretary birds, and also black spitting cobra, monitor lizard, banded mongoose, dwarf mongoose, dung beetle, and even the elusive leopard! He was a great driver too, even getting us out when we got stuck in the mud and many other drivers couldn't get out. We stayed at Ashnil Mara and really enjoyed that location right on the river. We woke up to hippos daily and the sounds of so many wild creatures. The staff and food were all amazing and the room was very comfortable and private. Natural World and Mike made the booking smooth and answered all my questions. Very highly recommend.

We wanted to visit Masai Mara and found Natural Tours and Safaris with good ratings online. We chose 4 day Lake Naivasha plus Masai Mara package that fitted well with our schedule. We have just come from our vacation and thought this is the best time to review and lay out information that might help you in planning a good trip for yourself. 1. Information as on website: The description page does a good job in explaining what to expect in these 4 days. Some deviations are no WIFI in the Jeep (we didn't need it either), and cooler box didn't have ice. One binocular was provided for both of us which was good enough given we rarely used it (you're really close to these wild creatures anyway). 2. Lake Naivasha/ Crescent Island (1st Day): We arrived at Nairobi at about 5 AM and was escorted to the office by one of the representatives waiting for us at the arrivals. Our driver picked us up at 7 AM from the airport (we killed the time having breakfast and buying SIM card etc.) and we headed towards Lake Naivasha. We didn't really expect the water safari to be this great. Some outstanding sights include watching Kingfisher diving under water to prey on fish, African Eagles swiftly catching the fish by its sharp claws, family of hippos and several types of birds. We then went to the Crescent Island which to us was really undersold (don't miss this island). This was one of the highlights of our tour. We managed to see Ostrich, Giraffe, Wildebeest, Zebra, Impala, Waterbuck, and several birds quite up close (fun fact - Hyena's poop is white as they eat lots of calcium in form of bones). We then went to the Hells Gate (inspiration to the stampede scene in Lion King) with our bicycles which was amazing; we spotted wild Buffaloes, Zebra, Warthog (pumba), Impalas, Gazelles, Baboons amongst others. 3. Masai Mara (2nd/3rd Day): After a day staying at a lodge near Naivasha lake, we headed towards Mara. We reached there by afternoon and had a little rest before heading into the wild. This national reserve is huge. Given a few hours left to sunset, we only covered a limited area but spotted 2 of Big 5s. On the 3rd day, we left early about 7 AM (so did everyone else we realized). FYI, these Jeeps are equipped with Radio transmitters on a local frequency available to all the vehicles in this area. The information flows surprisingly well as all the drivers communicate on the same line, don't get surprised if you find 15-20 Jeeps converging at a spot to have a glimpse of big cats. We then headed towards the famous Mara river where you can spot Hippos and Crocs. By this time (almost evening) we were tired and couldn't go to the Masai village so headed back to our lodge. 4. Mara/ Nairobi (4th Day): As per a circular by Narok County Government, all the vehicles should leave the county by 10 AM. If you wish to go for a game drive and leave after 10 AM, you'd have to pay $80 per person. We just thought it would have been better if we were informed about this change before we booked the tour as essentially it's 1.5 days of Masai Mara Safari. We headed towards Nairobi and explored areas near the airport. Economics: The engineer within me did some math on the cost of this tour and found that we wouldn't have been much better off planning everything by ourselves. Plus it's totally worth it to let the tour company take care of everything so that you enjoy your vacation to the fullest. If it helps below are the numbers (for a couple): $125 for Kongoni Lodge (Naivasha), $100 for Boat Safari, $52 for Hells Gate, $375*2 for Mara Sopa Lodge, and $280 for Masai Mara reserve fees. On top of this include the Private Land Cruiser rental plus fuel. It's a no brainer to opt for a tour package. Advice: The driver allotted to you is essentially everything, you'd not meet any of the officials you had been coordinating over emails. Most of these vehicles are on rent basis including the drivers who does freelancing and works for multiple Safari companies. The driver is the only one showing you around for the 4 days and hence it's imperative that you are tagged to an experienced one. We were tagged to a relatively younger driver (24 year old) but he seemed to know everyone around and was quite experienced (have been in tour industry for 9 years). One thing to keep in mind is you are expected to generously tip people serving you including your driver (so keep some cash handy ~ $10 per person). Let me know if there's any specific information that you'd like to have, will try to help.

We saw nearly 20 kinds of animals in just the first 4 hours! Our driver was very safe, knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating, and dedicated to maximizing our animal viewing experiences. He knew just the spot that allowed us to watch a river crossing! The quality and service at Royal Mara is top notch—be prepared to hear lots of hippo noise! We also did a full day tour of Malindi (including the Gede Ruins and animal rescue facilities) through Natural World Tours. The driver and guide were also very knowledgeable, friendly, and dedicated to maximizing our experiences that day. We engaged with more types of animals that day and had a marvelous lunch at the glorious Che Shale beach. Natural World Tours provided numerous transfers to and from the train station and airports for us. The drivers were on time 100% and the pickups provided a real piece of mind for us. Finally, a big ASANTE to Robert who helped us book the safari in 2020 and rearrange our plans as the pandemic postponed our travel to 2023. Robert pieced everything together and was always available to answer questions. Thank you for a safari njema sana!

After another company failed to make our reservation I turned to Natural World. Most of the lodges were completely full but within minutes Mike was able to get us a spot at a fantastic camp within our budget. His communication was prompt and all my questions were answered before leaving home. I really liked how he was just a WhatsApp message away at anytime. For the safari itself our guide Dik Dik was exceptional! He is very knowledgable, friendly and easy to get along with. He was able to deliver on showing us nearly every animal in our short time, doing an even better job to position us for the best pictures and videos. Top notch service all around, I would definitely recommend Natural World to anyone visiting this part of Africa.

At US$1,000 per person, this tour offered by Natural World Kenya, was the most expensive of all Masai Mara tours listed on Viator. Still, I booked it because I wanted to stay at the high-quality accommodation that they advertised. They were supposed to pick us up, my wife and I, at our hotel in Nairobi, at 7 AM. No one showed up and half an hour later, still no sign of the driver or the guide. Luckily, I had the local number for Natural World Kenya, and I decided to call them. I gave my booking number to the person who answered the call and after a few minutes of hesitation he told me that they did not have my booking. To which I said "Sir, how is that possible, if I booked this tour months ago and I have paid for it? Moreover, I have a ticket from Viator and as you probably know, Viator does not issue a ticket to a client unless they receive payment. If you tell me that you don't have my booking, we have a major problem here because I just checked out of the hotel, I don't have a place to stay in Nairobi and the only thing I am here for is to go on a three-day tour of Masai Mara. If you don't come pick me up, it will be disastrous." The person said that they would look it up and call back me in a few minutes. Meanwhile I decided to call Viator in the United States and the person who took my call was of very little help. But luckily, she told me that she could see my booking on their system. The booking was legitimate and obviously it was a mess up between Viator and Natural World. Then, after a frenetic exchange of text messages between myself and Natural World, they finally told me that a driver / guide was on his way to pick us up. The driver, whose name was Prince, showed up at 9 AM, a two-hour delay from the original pick-up time. He drove us straight to Masai Mara, but I had one more concern, about which I texted again Natural World. The concern was that I had booked this tour based on the high-quality accommodation that they listed, and obviously since they could not locate my booking, I assumed they had not reserved our accommodation anywhere. I asked, “Where are you going to put us overnight”? The answer came after a few minutes: “Don't worry, you will be staying at La Maison Royale.” Obviously, I had no idea about what La Maison Royale was but as we were already on our way to Masai Mara, I thought, well it is what it is. Let's try to enjoy it and after a very long drive, we arrived at Masai Mara. And that’s when things started getting better because Prince, our guide, was an outstanding guide and a very nice person. He speaks very good English, but most importantly, he knows how to find the animals and he is very knowledgeable about their behavior. Once we arrived at Masai Mara, around 2 PM, we went straight into a game drive, until about 5 PM. The next day we had a full day game drive with Prince, and it was phenomenal. We saw the big five, lion, rhino, hypo, buffalo, and leopard, plus all kinds of other animals. Prince knew where to find them, and we saw lions eating a prey, we saw wild animals at very close range and because of Prince’s superior knowledge of their behavior, when we saw a lion and a lioness together and by themselves, he told us to be patient, wait a few minutes, because they would mate. And sure enough, they did, not once, but twice, right in front of us, like 5 feet in front of us. I could take all the pictures I wanted and make a video. Prince was everything we expected from a guide, and he made our tour enjoyable and exceptional. Now let's go back to the accommodation during the tour. After the first game drive, when we arrived at La Maison Royale, it was, as I expected, not at the quality level that I had paid for. But we had no choice and had to stay there. It was not terrible, but it was nothing out of the ordinary. When we finished the tour and we were on the way back to Nairobi, I mentioned to Prince the problem we had with the booking. He was not aware of it and made it a point to put us on the phone with his supervisor, Howard, a very nice guy. Howard was concerned about the quality of the services and satisfaction of his clients, and he invited us to dinner that night at a famous restaurant in Nairobi, but we declined it because we were too tired after the long drive, and we had an early morning flight the next day. “I want to see you happy about this experience, so I am sending someone to your hotel with a refund of $100,” Howard said. It was very kind of him, and we took it, but $100 was not enough to cover the difference in the quality of accommodation that we had. I intend to contact Viator directly and ask for a proper refund. And here is a word of caution: most companies that operate in Africa don’t clearly say where you will be staying. They’ll list a hotel or lodge, but with one caveat: or similar. This “similar” is what gives them a lot of leeway to put you anywhere they want and claim that it's of the same quality. The fact is that it may not be. My advice to anyone booking a tour in Africa is to try as hard as possible to find out exactly where you’ll stay, otherwise you may be in for an unpleasant surprise. Having said that, I want to stress again that what made our tour unforgettable was our driver / guide. Prince was the factor responsible for turning an almost disaster into a very pleasant experience in Africa.

Amazing experience we had 3 land cruisers which took us from Nairobi to Lake Naivasha then on to Masai Mara for 3 days on Safari. James, who was out main guide was amazing. Along with his colleagues Kimi and Charles. We had an excellent time very well organised and friendly to the whole party - we had 9 children 5-11 years old with parents and grandparents too. Everyone loved it. 10 stars if I could give them. Thank you James, Torrin will miss you!!

We went on a 3 day fly-in Safari with Natural World in the Mara in July 2023. The whole logistics/organization pre-travel was smooth, seamless and communication was also easy. Humphrey’s team, in particular Pamela, was very hands on, responsive and caring (regularly checking on us during the 3 days). A special mention goes to our exceptional guide: Dik Dik. We felt safe with his driving, laugh and learned so much during those three days. He made this experience truly special for our kids who thoroughly enjoyed it.

Natural World Tours made planning our trip to Kenya with 15 people so easy. Faith was very helpful and responsive in setting up everything from day 1 when we contacted them. Milton, David and Simon were excellent tour guides and made our trip fun and seamless across the three days. The Jeeps were all comfortable and in great condition for the long drive from Nairobi, and all amenities were provided throughout our stay.

This was our first safari experience in Masai Mara and it was absolutely perfect! Natural World Kenya Safaris is an extremely professional operator, operating one of the best fleet of Safari jeeps in Kenya! At the safari stops our Land Cruiser really stood out from all the vehicles used by other operators. And when you are on safari, you spend most of the time in the vehicle, so it does really matter. As far as our guide is concerned, John was simply great! Good driver, punctual, but he also knew the best spots in Mara to observe game from an arms length…While 5-10, even sometimes 15 jeeps of other operators were gathering together when they would spot an animal, John would always find a hidden spot for us only, which gave opportunity for making perfect pictures without the presence of other Jeeps. This way we saw pride of lions, elephants, giraffes, 5-10 meters from us. The camps the company selected for us were also great, especially Losokwan, which is located right in the nature and provides unique experience. I truly recommend!

What a memorable trip! From the pick up in Nairobi to the drop off at the airport, everything was smooth and painless and I can only commend Natural World. What made an amazing experience even better was our driver George, who accompanied us throughout our trip. He was friendly, funny, punctual, adaptable and very knowledgeable - not just of what we could see on safari, but the best way to get around, places to make pit stops for food or gifts and the right price to pay for souvenirs or services. He wants you to have the best experience and you'd certainly be very lucky to have him tour with you. Take his advice, start early, it pays off! Thanks to his to extensive experience (and a little luck!) we were able to see every great creature in the Masai Mara park, truly thrilling. We hope we can return one day...

Excellent responsiveness and planning help from Esther at NWKS. She was able to customize everything according to our requests. My son came down with a bad case of travelers sickness in Nairobi and we lost a day and a half but they were able to accomodate the change and make the best of the time we had remaining in Masai Mara and even offered a small discount. The vehicle could have been better maintained but we had a great driver who was an expert and did a great job of finding animals with the limited time we had. Airport transfers were handled well and in a timely manner. Safe and easy payment setup via Pesapal.
