First time in Marrakech. Arrived in the afternoon. Started our tour at 6pm with yaya. One life trips! Great introduction to the city. It was nice to have someone who knew where to navigate for the first night. Made our trip much easier for the rest of our stay. Yaya had great energy and was quite funny. Totally recommend his tour!

Mohammed was a kind, knowledgeable, articulate guide who was proud of his culture and imparted that love of Marrakech to my wife and I. He was relaxed, open to our wishes and gently guided us through the Medina pulling the curtain back on the secrets of this beautiful city. We recommend him without reservation for a food tour that you will never forget!

Such an amazing time! SO much food! We thought Mohamed was joking when he said we would have a sit down meal at end! So very very good value for money! I’m just gutted I couldn’t fit more in!! Was really interesting hearing about the cultural significance of food and the dinner after was in a rooftop overlooking the whole medina

The guide was knowledgeable and told us an interesting bit of marrakech history, as well as introducing us to some interesting foods, we went home stuffed!

Overall a really good tour with lots of interesting knowledge shared about the local food. We’d hoped to have spent more time in the food market rather than in the souks - trip for purchasing Argon oil was unnecessary.

Ali was a fabulous host and we learnt so much about Moroccan culture. The food was varied and I definitely tried things I would not have been brave enough to alone. I left the evening totally satisfied and stuffed! Take a bottle of water with you.

To start we got lost going to the meeting spot and was 15 minutes late. Mohammed waited for us! The pace of the tour was wonderful slow. So delicious and very historical. Every bite was exciting. Tried new food and learned about favorite food!

There were 5 of us at the tour. Mo did such a good job. He made sure we feel relaxed. He is such a great tour guide and I really love how he did the tour. Started off with him taking us to the restaurant, then he would tell us about the history or facts about the food. Then he would give us time to eat our food and let the tourists talk to each other and enjoy their meal. Then off you go to the next destination. It’s a good thing because other tour guides would just want to be the star of the show and want all of your attention to them but in the case of Mo, he understands that some tourists would like to make new friends so he lets them talk.

For us, Tour guide “Ali” made the tour. He was so informative which enhanced a really super experience. We tried lots of different foods enroute culminating in a wonderful rooftop terrace dinner. Everything was inclusive with no hidden extras. A must do” in Marrakech.

The first point was that we were forgot by our booked tour guide. Kudos to the other guide who came back to get us to join his party. The talks of the origin of the food were informative and interesting. The food itself was standard fair, personally I got more from the techniques and history of the food than the taste. We ended up with a fantastic view of the square to end our night. Overall an experience but I feel it could be more organised and a bit more flavour from the rich spices of Morocco.

Unimpressive, unless you’re scared to explore the Medina on your own (you shouldn’t be). I expected the tour to take us to unique places that we wouldn’t find on our own, and I expected stories and a fun vibe. The guide didn’t do anything special, didn’t eat with us, and didn’t take us anywhere that you wouldn’t go to simply by wandering a few streets on your own. He’d also take us to a place, then disappear for what felt like 30 minutes with no guidance or instruction. I’ve taken plenty of food tours where we show up and the restaurant is expecting us or doesn’t make us wait. Not worth the money at all. Half our group simply left early out of boredom or disappointment.

Bibi was a fantastic guide. The food stops were great, with a little history thrown in. We enjoyed it very much and was full at the end.

Admittedly it was not what I had expected however it gave a glimpse into the deeper family life and the foods that they share. It was not an experience that you would find on your own. My Guide was exceptional and gave lots of information including history lesson

Did the tour on our first night to Marrakech altogether 3 female friends. It was a great success and brilliant to do on our first day. The guide was great. He has immense knowledge of Marrakesh, not only did we get a good tour but also history of the city and he brought us around to hidden family gems in the suks tasting local foods from range of nuts, dates, sweet treats, fast food, local soup, traditional savoury pancakes and finished the tour off with dinner with traditional 3 different dishes of Moroccan tagine. It was a great first evening spent. A great taster in to what Moroccan food has to offer. Would highly recommend!!!

This was an extremely fun and informative tour. Our guide Mohammad was fun, engaging and knowledgeable about the food. He tailored our tour on the fly, quickly adjusting our tour based off of our feedback. When we told him we were already full before the main dinner, he took us on a short tour of the markets and showed us the inner workings of the market. Mohammad showed us a community bakery and explained how important this community bakery is to the families that work and live in the markets. He stayed longer than expected to ensure we had the best possible experience. I would suggest to anyone who wants to learn about the area to use this tour and ask for Mohammad
