DO THIS TOUR! it was amazing. Ronal is a culinary trained chef and is so knowledgeable about Peruvian food. He is super friendly, the venue was lovely as well. He showed us around the markets and showed us lots of different produce. We then cooked some DELISH food and made a pisco sour. It was such a nice way to spend an afternoon/evening and i can't stress enough, just do it! Enjoy

This cooking class exceeded my expectations! Ronal was so knowledgeable, and even though he has probably cooked these meals repeatedly over many classes - he never made it feel that way. You can tell he truly loved what he does. We also had a group with a fun energy & sense of humor, so that was an added bonus. The market tour was also great. He took the time to walk us through many different areas & demonstrate/teach us all about Peruvian culture, history, and food. Then to end the class, our meals and Pisco Sours were AMAZING! Better than I even expected. I don’t typically write reviews, but felt very compelled to write one for this class, because it was so fun. We made such great memories for our trip to Cusco!

Ronal was an amazing guide/chef. I enjoyed our visit to the San Pedro Market and learning about local food, fruit and flavors. Ronal took his time explaining local customs and cuisine. Then we went back and sampled exotic and delicious Peruvian fruit and cheese. Next, we were taught how to make Pisco Sour, and 3 Peruvian dishes. Thank you for this wonder experience, Ronal.

We really enjoyed this day cooking food and making a cocktail. There were only 4 of us in the group. Firstly we had a visit to the local market to buy ingredients. We ended up going back the next day as it is such a great market. I'm a vegetarian and this was adapted for me. We prepared and cooked ingredients then ate it all at the end. Everything was delicious and very filling. A fun day out!!

We learned so much from this class with Ronal! It was very fun to go to the market and learn about the different foods and snacks that are common among Peruvians. The actual cooking and drink making was so much fun! Ronal is very patient and good at explaining, while also keeping it fun. He was even able to accommodate the vegetarians that had been in our class. This is a must do while you are in Cusco! It’s some of the best food we’ve had the entire trip.

The food was tasty and the trip to the market was fun and interesting. I enjoyed trying the different fruits and receiving the recipies afterwards. I feel we could have done a bit more actual cooking though, though that might have been limited due to time. But we just cut a few chunks of onion, one slice of carrot and tomato each that sort of thing for prep and we didn’t really cook much.. The group was great, and Ronal was a great host.

Ronald was amazing! His recipes were the most delicious we have had in Cusco. The best ceviche we have had in Peru and we are a lot. Definitely do this class!

I learned a lot about Peruvian cuisine through Ronal and he is a very good teacher when it comes to making Peruvian food. I am glad to have learned how to make Peruvian food through his instructions. Next time I'm in Cuzco I'll take other family members with me and book another cooking class with Ronal.

Very fun and informative cooking class/tour with Ronal! The food and drinks were delicious! I lost my bracelet there and he was super helpful finding a time to meet me to return it before I had to leave Cusco!

One of the best experiences in our trip to Cusco. We had an incredible time at the market, learning about traditional foods and tasting delicious fruits. Ronald, the chef, was amazing. He explained everything with patience and the cooking class was great. The food we prepared was delicious as well. Book this experience. You won't regret it.

We had a wonderful experience with Ronal. With most cooking classes you don’t get to go to the local market where the ingredients come from. This was a really wonderful addition to the class. The amount of preparation that we did was perfect. The two dishes and the pisco beverage, were so fun to prepare. The shop where Ronal had his business was well appointed and set up for the guests. Ronal was so engaging and informative about the dishes, adding interesting facts about their origin and the the Peruvian culture. Would definitely recommend!

This was a fantastic experience. I was lucky that I was the only person to have booked during that session so I got VIP treatment from Ronal. He took me first to the market and pointed out a range of Peruvian produce. At his cooking school I sampled a number of delicious fruits and cheeses before preparing a Pisco Sour, lomo saltado and a stuffed chilli. Ronal was fun, engaging and encouraging throughout the whole experience and is clearly a gifted chef who had great pride in both Cusco and the food of the area and nation. The resulting meal was delicious. I thoroughly recommend this experience.

Ronald ran an excellent cooking class. He was really informative. Taking us through the market explaining all about Peruvian culture and buying fresh ingredients. Then back to his kitchen where he gave us options for what we wanted to cook among a range of Peruvian dishes. We tried a range of exotic Peruvian fruits, cooked 2 dishes each and also made Pisco sours. I have already recommended this to my friends and will continue to.

Awesome experience with an extremely knowledgeable chef. We toured the market and got to try a range of beautiful fruits. The cooking was fun and we learnt a lot about Peruvian history and cuisine. Ronaldo was so lovely and professional 10/10

Absolutely fantastic experience would 100% recommend!! Wonderfully led by Ronal - great trip to the market followed by a brilliant cooking class packed with lots of knowledge!

This was simply fantastic! Ronald is such a good teacher, not only in the kitchen, but as he explained the various meats, fruits and vegetables when we were at the market. It was so wonderful to learn about the vast selection of foods available in Peru that I knew nothing of. Doing the meal prep with a culinary expert was a delight to me, an absolute amateur. When we were done preparing and cooking, we got to sit down and eat fabulous food at our own 5-star restaurant right in the classroom! I can’t say enough good about this class and Ronald. If you are in Cusco and have any interest in the cuisine, this is a must do. The price is perfect considering the education you get as well as the full meal.

Great time walking through the market with our guide/cook and then lots of fun in the cooking glass. We were also able to pick up a few items not related to the class at the market.

I thoroughly enjoyed my class and the market tour. The chef was very friendly and was well organized in a way that allowed for both group and individual participation in the preparation and offered multiple choices for the main course.
