We had an amazing time cooking and visiting with Patrizia, Giuliana, and of course Nino and Bella (the cats). It was like visiting with “old” new friends. The menu was perfect and delicious! It brought us back to home cooking with our Nonna!! We didn’t take home a bottle of limoncello but, that was ok with us! We will definitely be back to visit and cook again! See you soon Patrizia!

Our tour guide, Alex was amazing! He was as entertaining as he was educational! We learned so much in such a short time, we could have enjoyed the entire day with him. I would positively recommend this tour! We left with full bellies and smiles on our faces!

This is what travel is all about. Spending time with interesting people, learning about their cultures, and cooking and enjoying absolutely delicious traditional foods. This cooking class was more than cooking. This was an experience on how to live like a true Sicilian. We enjoyed plentiful cheeses and wines. Learned about and prepared foods like meat and fish rolls and caponata. Most of all we enjoyed the company of a true Sicilian queen and aficionado, Patti! This evening was the perfect Palermo night and Patti’s home was friendly, inviting, and decorated beautifully. We were lucky enough to share the evening with some friendly folks and Patti’s lovely cats Nino & Bella. I would recommend this class to anyone visiting Palermo.

Relaxing and informative cooking experience with a lovely host in her lovely house. *2 cats so be aware of allergies

The host was very friendly and shared alit of knowledge about Italy and Italian cooking. The group was fun and we were all very interactive.

This is not a cooking class and certainly not worth the price tag. Overall disappointing, ignored by the host for long stretches of time in her home, no attention paid to the food produced. Recipes were promised and not provided. No limoncello making or bottle to take home. No history of the cuisine, very short market visit which added nothing to the experience other than carrying shopping bags.

We had a great time cooking with Patrizia. We all helped her in cooking a delicious meal. We learned to make amazing meals. She had a lovely home and explained the cooking process. I highly recommend this tour.

Patrizia is a wonderful tour guide, host, and cook! We had 4 kids with us ages 3, 4, 6 and 12 - and she made it so much fun for all of them and for us. The meal we cooked was delicious!

Patrizia was warm and friendly. We met at the fantastic Capo market and decided on main course the selected and shopped for items for our meal. We went to her aprrmenr to cook and discuss traditional foods. Our group was enjoyable. My family of four really enjoyed the experience. It was relaxing and delicious. We also enjoyed the two cats!! 😄

Making pasta is a new trick for me, and the sword fish rolls were wonderful! To my new friends from Philadelphia, and New York, thank you, as you all made it so much fun! Hope to see you in Chicago please remember, Go Bears! Mike

Great atmosphere with Pat and group. Recommend it to everyone. Plenty of wine and great food. We all went with the roll of the night and Pat kept the atmosphere and food going as well. Excellent night!

We traveled to Palermo with our family of 6 - grandparents to young adults and we loved this tour! Patrizia is a gracious, warm and welcoming host and made our afternoon exploring the Capo market and cooking an authentic Sicilian feast the highlight of our trip! Our meal was delicious - can’t wait to try our new pasta making skills at home!

Exceptional market shopping experience & Sicilian menu planning & cooking with Chef Patrizia. Watching Chef Patrizia interact with the market vendors & learning what to look for was magical. Chef is SO organized, keeping menu ingredients straight in her mind for purchase, communicate with 6 of us & navigate the market in a short time frame. Further, Chef Patrizia’s apartment layout is ideal for a cooking class. I cannot believe all we learned, managed to prepare & consumed in a total of 3 hours after shopping was complete. Chef Patrizia encouragers & offers confidence, making everything possible & look easy. Attending solo, I enjoyed self volunteering for the role as sous chef! I am prepared to return as an assistant anytime! Brava Chef!

We absolutely LOVED our cooking class with Patrizia from beginning to end! We loved going thru the market with her and then to cook in her fabulous home across from the famous cathedral. She is so warm, fun and talented! She taught us delicious and easy recipes which we ate on her lovely patio. We also so enjoyed the couple who took the class with us! We came home and bought her cookbook to hopefully recreate what we learned. If I could give it 10 stars, I would. Thank you Patritzia for a lifelong memory.

We learned a whole lot we did not know or appreciate about why Sicilian cooking is loved the world over from our kind and cordial host. The greatest joy came when the time came to consume the dishes we had prepared. It was the best meal we had on the island. Nothing but thanks and praise to you Patrizia. Patrizia has a clear passion for meeting people and cooking. She graciously welcomed us into her beautiful home. The food, drink, and conversation was superb, enhancing our experience. Our trip to Palermo would not have been the same without it!

A fantastic experience, would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Palermo! Patrizia was very welcoming and very knowledgable about both Sicilian food and culture. The food was amazing, especially the beef rolls. Patrizia also gave us lots of tips and recommendations for the rest of our stay. We purchased Patrizia’s cook book and can’t wait to try and recreate the recipes at home. An unforgettable experience, thank you.

Patrizia was a fantastic host and a great teacher. The market tour at the start was sensational, literally. We asked questions all throughout and Patrizia was great at answering them all. We were so grateful to spend most of the time in her wonderful home, where she was a great host and made us feel very relaxed. We can’t wait to try and recreate what we made when we get home, would thoroughly recommend!

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily. We met Patrizia at the market and walked with her as she got all of the ingredients for our lunch. We then proceeded to her apartment where she cleaned, prepared and dined with us. She explained all of her recipes as she went along. Of course wine was consumed during the afternoon. She is a great cook as well as an excellent host. It was fun to be in the home of a local person. Great experience had by the four of us.

What a fabulous time we had! Patrizia was a fantastic host, guide and teacher. She is warm and funny and generous. From watching her at the market, carefully selecting the best ingredients, to learning her techniques, to eating DELICIOUS food and drinking wonderful wines! The whole experience capped off a marvelous visit to Palermo!!
