This food tour was not just about the food, it was also about the culture of Peru. Our tour guide, Giovana, was fantastic! She brought us through a local market and talked to us about the history of Peru. We really appreciated learning about the beauty of Peru but also the reality of living in Peru and some of the history surrounding its people. We received 7 dishes and 2 drinks, by the end we were stuffed! Would highly recommend this experience!

We did the tour with Giovana and she was amazing!! We tried a lot of different foods that we would have otherwise missed. The ceviche, Chicha Morada and Papa Relleno were my favorites! Giovana was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information as we were walking around the market. We also had a little picnic in the park with all the unique fruits that Giovana picked out for us. Highly recommend this tour to everyone visiting Lima!

Alex was amazing, so much passion concerning his country and heritage. We got to go to places that we would never find on our own to have the most amazing bites of Peruvian cuisine. I would highly recommend this to anybody and everybody gives you a little bit of a taste of the culture. Alex, thank you so much for sharing your passion with us!

Our first day in Lima, it was a great introduction to some local food and culture. Our guide was helpful and informative, "Lima Experience " did not disappoint!

We had 9 different street foods. Every food taste so good and it gives you the idea of how the Peruvian eats. Personally I have a very high spice tolerance which makes their spicy sauce for me a medium spicy. I love the corn, deepfried mashed potato with pork filling, ceviche and my favorite was the cow heart and intestine. It was a little salty which is how they season it with the sauce it neutralized the saltiness. I love the street food tour because we get to see the local market which personally I will not go there alone as I might get lose with all the commotions. Yoced did a great job as our tour guide. We learned a lot from him. I also love all the fruits he made us taste. From sour, sweet and sour again. It was a perfect way to end the trip

One of the best food tours we have done - great value for money, amazing tour guides (Giovana and Edwin took great care of us - she was especially careful about my allergies) that also gave us some information about Lima. Food was all good but the Ceviche was the best I've ever had - and in a hole in a wall place we would have never found ourselves (it isn't even on Google). I'd highly recommend!

We had two awesome days with Giovanna. First we did the Street Art Tour in Barranco and the day after we did the Street Food tour with her and Edwin. They both were amazing and we had a lot of fun! Especially the Food tour was one of our highlights. It’s a must do when visiting Lima

We had a great time on this tour and were able to try out a lot of different local foods. Our guide did very well, considering we had a party of 7 and the markets were very busy & crowded that day. At a couple places where there were long lines he was able to get us in or get the food without too much wait. The stories behind the food were interesting and the final stop where we share fruits purchased from the market was very enjoyable. Definitely recommended.

Giovanna was my guide and she was amazing!!! So knowledgeable, friendly, and always smiling! She took us to places we never would have been able to discover on our own, taught us a lot about the history and current affairs of Peru, and the food was INCREDIBLE! Toured with Giovana - she was awesome! Brought us all over the market, many places we would never have gone on our own. All food was great! Came with tons of information on the culture as well. Always felt safe. This company is well organized, reliable and has good communication - great when you’re travelling.

Giovanna was an excellent guide, she had many very interesting and insightful facts for us along the way, food was very flavoursome and I really appreciated her consideration of single-use plastics by bringing her own reusable cutlery and containers. A very nice trip that I strongly recommend!

Jovana showed us the best street food in Lima, she also gave us a lot of information about the chicha culture, at the end she surprised us with an exotic fruit tasting, much better than the Netflix series.

This tour was incredible!!!! Giovana and Edwin were SO amazing!! They are wonderful at explaining their culture and showing us an authentic experience where locals eat and shop!! They were both such a joy to be around and it is well worth it! Come hungry because you will be trying so many different foods, I loved everything we tried!
