Our guide MOP was amazing! He showed us many animals, shared lots of interesting information about the park, and gave us recommendations on other things to do and see. I would highly recommend this company!

Fantastically worth it to view animals. The park is crowded with people, so simply walking the park would not have been so interesting. With a guide, at least we saw the animals and we forgot how many people were in the park We would have missed all the animals that we have seen. Our guide Saul helped us spot a lot of animals.Worth booking on Tripadvisor, was cheaper than at the gate and on the tour operator website. Don't forget to book your ticket with the national park too. You need tickets for the tour operator and for the national park.

We had a private guided tour with MOP in April and it was awesome. MOP was an amazing guide who was very talented at spotting all of the animals and knew so much about all of the wildlife. He was very patient making sure we had amazing pictures on our phones to take home. We had a very memorable visit - thank you MOP.

Our tour guide Mop was great. Super knowledgeable as he’s been doing this for many years. We saw many different animals and Mop was super nice and took great photos on our phones. Would recommend doing this tour as you’d miss most of the animals without it.

Our guide, MOP, was very knowledgeable and passionate about the park. I mentioned that I wanted to see a sloth and a toucan and he delivered. We saw many other animals as well that we would not have seen without him. It was a perfectly timed to go to the beautiful beach at the end of the tour and cool off.

Fantastic walk. Saw lots of species of animals and guide Royvin was very knowledgeable. It was very nice to have a private tour as while we were walking by large groups - many looked hot and tired of all waiting to see through one guide’s scope. It was very much worth the money to have a private guide. I’d recommend doing a late afternoon tour as opposed to the morning one we did as we were told leas people go in the later afternoon. Swimming would have been difficult and uncomfortable with the sand everywhere and no place to rinse off or dry.

Incredible experience from beginning to end. Detailed instructions were provided in advance to meet the guide and have an seamless entry into the park. Our guide, SAUL, was very knowledgeable, professional and took great care to ensure we saw as many mammals, birds, reptiles and insects as possible.

Mauro was an excellent guide. He was able to pick out insects and spiders. He took lots of pictures through his scope that he shared with us. He was very patient.

You really need a guide to best explore Manuel Antonio, and Mop was great! Most of the guides have a super nice telescope to view the wildlife. Mop took the time to scout out a ton of cool animals so we could see them up close. Mop was very knowledgeable and personable, this was an awesome way to spend a morning.

this was just an amazing tour! thanks to this tour operator. our guide was MOP and you will be lucky if you get him as your guide. highly talented, 25 years experienced, great spotter, great communicator! he showed us things that you could have never imagined without this guided tour. if you do it alone, you will miss 99% of the things! please please please, trust me, just book this tour, you will not regret. I’d also strongly recommend booking 7 am tour. the earlier you get there and get this done the better. The reason is this park is extremely popular and gets crowded, problems with parking etc. also later you go, hotter its going to get and then especially kids, start losing their patience. ofcourse, whatever you schedule allows but my experience was really good with early am. another advantage is that the beach inside the park is absolutely gorgeous. but things close at 3-4 pm I think. so if you get in early and get done with the tour early, then you can hang out on the beach. you can go in and out of the park, once you are out, you are done. strongly recommend this tour operator and this excursion.

Our guide Andrey was fantastic! He made our visit to the park perfect. He is very knowledgeable about the animals, plants and the park. We saw everything we wished to see and more, thanks to his “eagle eyes”! Andrey took care of us the moment we arrived, helping us through check in to dropping us off at the beautiful beach. Felix was our tour guide and our family had a simply magnificent experience. If you want to see animals and get a personalized experience, we highly recommend this private tour with Felix. We saw several sloth, lizards, types of deer, insects, monkeys, tucan, bats and birds. We learned a lot about the ecosystem and the talents of survival of all of these insects, plants and animals. We have tons of photos that Felix took with our iPhone and videos of the sloths we saw. The beach was magnificent. It was the perfect way to cool off after walking around for two hours. A private tour is the way to go if you can swing it. The large groups we passed probably did not get as personal of an experience. Also, it was very obvious to us that our guide was the most skilled at spotting things as other guides were asking his advice. Recommend walking further away from exit for lunch after exiting the national park.

Our guide Felix was great. Very knowledgeable and not rushed. Took so many great pictures with my cell phone through his spotting scope!

Our tour of Manuel Antonio national park was made special by our tour guide Mop! We lucked out and got a private tour as no one else was in our group. Mop had a very good eye and showed us multiple sloths (including a very active baby and mama sloth), stick bird, white faced monkeys, a land turtle, helicopter dragonfly, etc. He paced the tour very much for our liking- where he spent a lot of time looking and letting us experience (from a good distance) the animals. While we walked he would explain what we had just seen. I would book this tour again and request specifically for Mop to be our guide! I suggest you reserve a ticket for Manuel Antonio first and then book this tour. You cannot get in to the park even if you already have a guided tour (as the park entry tickets are separate). Follow the directions in the email on how to find their office/parking as there are a lot of scammers on the road to the park entrance. The trail is very well paved and pretty easy. You can hang out at the park to enjoy the beach/trails after you finish the guided tour but make sure you bring all the things you need as there is no readmittance once you leave. It would also be a good idea to look up what time is best for the things you would like to see (birds early morning, etc).

Mop was a great tour guide, he was so skilled at finding the animals! I was amazed at how well he could find the hidden ones. The tour was entertaining and well worth the price, I would have missed out of a lot if I'd gone through on our own!
