Ricardo was a wonderful guide. We saw a lot of animals and also learned a lot about the Forrest. Glad we took a tour guide on the trails!

Jason was the best. There were people in other groups trying to listen to Jason because he was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and funny. We loved Jason and would 1,000% recommend Jason and his team!

Beware - I booked a private tour and paid for it the day before it was schedule. They notified AFTER I was able to book that ticket to tne park were needed (which wasn't the problem - as tickets are only 18.50 USD) however, the park is sold out for weeks! No information was shared that you should secure your admission first! The only solution offered was to purchase admission on the secondary market for over $40 per preson. Who is buying up all the tickets to a National Park and reselling them??? They did not offer to reimburse me for my tour - which we couldn't take since the park is sold out for weeks!

We had a wonderful tour with Andrew! He was so fun and knowledgeable. He was great with our kids, and found all kinds of things we would have never found on our own. We saw howler monkeys, squirrel monkeys, capuchin monkeys with babies, sloths - moms and babies, spiders, basilisk, deer being chased by monkeys, coati, and agouti. Of course, many birds and big iguanas as well. We did a private tour at 7am and I am so glad we chose this option, because it was starting to get crowded as we were leaving. Here is a little tip - the tours ends on the beach, but if you keep walking along the trail, there is another beach that is much more private and shaded and so beautiful. Many stop at the first beach they see, but Andrew told us to keep going and I am so glad we did! It was a perfect day at the park. Remember to buy your tickets to the park immediately after you book this tour, as they are not included.

Our guide, Jason, was fantastic. He knew just where to find the animals and birds. He knew a lot about all of them as well as a lot of history about the area.

Our guide for the private tour of Manuel Antonio National Park was Jason and he is an EXCELLENT guide…very knowledgeable, friendly and outgoing, humorous, and courteous. He has many years of experience and is clearly a star among his peers Very highly recommend this tour and Jason!!

Oh my gosh! What an incredible day with Jason. He is so knowledgeable and easy to relate. I still can't figure out how he spotted so many different species that are so well camouflaged. Unbelievable. I will sign up with Uncle Jason when we return. He is the best!

Our tour guide never showed. He called us to apologize, it was not his fault. Regardless 9 of us waited for about an hour as we figured out what was going on and booked with another company.

Francisco was very knowledgeable and amazing! He took the time to give us great information on the animals we were seeing and was enthusiastic about the wildlife we encountered. A guided tour is a must through Manuel Antonio to see things you normally wouldn’t, and Francisco was the best!

What an incredible experience! Andrew was a phenomenal tour guide. He was so knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the national park. He even demonstrated his skill with bird songs! Andrew talked with us at the beginning of the tour to understand if there were any specific animals or features we wanted to see during the tour and then he was a man on a mission to find them! We saw so many different animals and insects throughout the tour and really learned a lot of about each one of them. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone!

We loved our private tour of Manuel Antonio! Francisco was incredible from start to finish! We had overcast skies which makes it harder to spot wildlife but that didnt make a difference for him! He not only showed us a wide range of insects, reptiles and animals (found us so many sloths!!) but he also shared really interesting facts that we never knew! He was great with the kids too! Highly recommend this tour and hope you are lucky enough to get Francisco as your guide! Pura Vida!

Andrew was friendly, amazing at spotting and explaining what things to see, and kept it moving. So glad we booked the private tour, it was so hot and those huge groups moved at a snail’s pace because everyone has to take turns looking in the scope. Bring reusable water bottles and we also had cooling towels which helped. We had teens and tweens and they enjoyed it, but I don’t think I would go on a hot day with smaller kids-the ones we saw were bored and miserable while on their tour. A zoo is a lot more exciting for little ones. It was also awesome having a tour booked ahead of time to avoid the aggressive parking vendors, they tell you exactly where to go-a lot directly in front of the entrance! We saw lizards, a spider, howler monkeys, sloths, birds, and a crab off the top of my head. Security wouldn’t let us take some packaged cookies in which seemed silly, and they almost didn’t let us take our sandwiches unless we took them out of the zip lock bag, but they let us through. The guides told us not to wear Teva shoes or crocks but I think you’d be fine with even flip flops. It’s all paved, just a little steep in a few places. We wore sneakers and it was a pain with the sand after swimming. If you eat lunch on the beach be aware of the aggressive iguanas - we had a good laugh but they kept us on our toes.

This was a fantastic guided tour. We learned a lot from Jason and got to see several sloths, birds, among other things along the path. Super friendly tour group and we met nice people along the way.

Absolutely Amazing. Andrew was our private guide and so knowledgeable- he was great with my girls (6 and 7) and really explained in detail the science behind the animals. He was friendly and funny and got great photos through the scope for us. The parking directions were so easy and right outside the park. Highly recommend. A+++

This tour was a great experience for us! Beforehand, Wakoo Tours gave us detailed instructions, so we were well-prepared. Our tour guide Jason was terrific! He taught us so much about the rainforest and helped us see animals that we couldn't have found on our own. Also, his stories were very entertaining. We really enjoyed his tour and highly recommend it!

We had a great time at Manual Antonio. A guided tour is a MUST, Andrew was great and pointed out things we never would have seen on our own. He answered all our questions. This company was very clear about arrival, parking , etc when you arrive. Which is really important because the locals are SUPER aggressive when you arrive even if you tell them you have a tour set up. Book this tour, ask for Andrew and ask him to find you a unicorn! 😊

I would call James, or guide just as Eagleeye James because could notice hidden animals we couldn’t ever! Perfect eplanation of animals. We catched 6 sloths durung the tour! Nevertheless James is a funy guy and professional and experienced guide and expert of the wildlife of Costa Rica!

What an awesome tour! So glad we did this! We got to see a sloth, and 2 fer de lance snakes! Many other animals and I’m just so grateful for the education we received through our guide
