I took three tours - Upper West Side/Central Park, Greenwich Village/High Line and Lower East Side/Chinatown. All were excellent. Dan and Sonia were the impressive, knowledgeable tour leaders. What’s great about it is you are right there on the street absorbing the New York culture. There is not a better way to see theCity.

Me and mom did a Greenwich Village and The High Line walking tour with Andrew. It was an excellent experience, Andrew provided some great info about the landmarks and places we passed through.

I attended 3 tours, it was great opportunity taking a glance of New York and learn some history. My most impressive is an area of Brooklyn, some streets are with beauty of tranquility. This is overturning to me. I Enjoy the tours as well as good guiders as Dan and Sonya. Thank you. :)

My first visit to NYC and I think these tours made the trip. Very informative and a great way to explore the city. I would not have seen as much of the city without doing them. The guides were fantastic and the whole experience felt safe. I did the Central Park, West Village,Brooklyn and Dumbo tours, all great. If you stay at the Pod and don’t do these tours you are missing out big time.

Went on all 4 tours arranged through my hotel pod 39, starting with upper west side and Central Park, Greenwichvillage and the high line ending in the Chelsea market( lobster roll was 10/10), lower east side and china town, Brooklyn Heights and Dumbo. I cannot put into words how good these tours are, as I would have to type an essay to explain it all. Every single one of these walking tours is brilliant, you get the history of the neighbourhood and so much more, they show you all the good spots, it was my first time in NYC and not sure when I will be back again, and these tours really helped me to cover a lot of the city. The tour guides were great as well, very friendly and willing to answer your questions and great to chat with the other people on the tour. I would recommend these tours to people who are even not staying at the pod hotels, to try get on these tours, they are brilliant!

We went on two tours lead by Dan and Ronny. Both men had distinctly different styles of engagement which was fun. Each tour was unhurried yet chock full of interesting information some of which I had never known though I have been to NYC many times. We took one tour to the Upper West side and Central Park and another focused on the Meat packing area and the Highline. Really great!!

Excellent experience! We spent a beautiful morning touring Greenwich Village. Andrew shared with us the history, anecdotes and curious facts about the neighborhood, with great patience and kindness. We highly recommend it!

My family and I,six of us ranging in age from 11 to 70,had two great tours with Dan and Sonya. We booked a walking tour of Brooklyn Heights and Dumbo through our hotel, Pod Times Square. Andrew was super knowledgeable, and brought the group to locations we wouldn't have seen otherwise. He also ensured the group always had adequate time to take photos, and even helped everyone navigate to their next destination after the tour end. Would absolutely recommend the tour for anyone.

Unfortunately I could only do one tour with Andrew, it was the Upper Manhattan and Central Park tour. It was offered - complimentary - by the POD Hotel. The other tours, also with Streetwise, were after my departure only. What a pity. It was my fifth visit to New York City and I saw so many places that I did not know. Andrew is an excellent tour guide who showed and explained us so many things I would otherwise not have seen. He is a true New Yorker who enjoys showing his city always pointing out details one would just oversee. Everybody in the group enjoyed the tour. I have already done many guided tours, but I must say that Andrew is one of the best guides I have ever worked with. I am an experienced tourguide myself, I could learn from him.

Excellent and relaxed walk around the Bronx. Friendly and knowledgeable guide who picked us up from the hotel. Great history knowledge and gave great guidance on where to go and what to do after the tour.

My wife and I booked a private customized walking tour through Brooklyn (that in the end included a foray into the lower east side) with Andrew who picked us up from our hotel, showed us how to use the subway, and led us through the streets of Brooklyn pointing out historically and culturally interesting sites that we would never have found on our own. He was very knowledgeable, tailored the tour to feedback he got from us, answered our questions but never hesitated to admit when he did not know an answer - it definitely shows that he has done this for over ten years and it was easy to trust him. Absolutely fantastic walking tour experience. I was staying at POD Time Square which offers 4 days a week different neighborhood tours by Street Wise. The one offered on Saturday was a walking tour of Brooklyn Heights and DUMBO district of Brooklyn. Ben the wonderful tour guide meet the assembled group in the hotel lobby, we walked to the nearby subway station and road to Brooklyn Heights, walked the neighborhood, learned the history of the area, the celebrities homes past and present, stopped for a coffee break. Ben made everything interesting and did an amazing job of taking time to engage with everyone in the large group. The DUMBO district near the Brooklyn Bridge gave incredible views and opportunities for shopping and dinning as the tour came to an end. It was a remarkable 2 hours that went by like a New York minute!

If you are a Pod Hotel guest you HAVE to take this tour! It’s included in your stay and it’s a great way to visit Central Park without getting lost (or wasting time). We booked it last minute and simply loved it! Greg, our guide, showed us very nice spots of both the park and the Upper West Side. He also provided lots of informations and anecdotes - btw, thank you! 100% recommended.

We (a couple of empty nesters joined by college-age son) had a great time with our guide David. He was very knowledgeable and engaging setting a perfect pace for us and indulging our fascination with history and architecture. We’ve walked Greenwich Village many times before but had no idea how many interesting facts and details we overlooked.
