Tan and his team went above and beyond to accomodate for me and my mum. We had a last min booking and Tan found a perfect beach for beginner SUP. This was the best thing we did during our Phuket trip. Nice and relaxing. Also thanks for the plentiful snacks. Real warm Thai hospitality :) highly recommend.

An amazing tour. Tan is incredibly friendly, chatty and energetic. He taught me how to paddle and took care of me throughout the journey. He provided amzing snacks and drinks too. It was by far my favourite tour during my Thailand trip. I will definitely do it again in the future. I highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful experience with Tan & Kate. They picked us up promptly at our hotel, and pointed out things of interest during the drive. They provided delicious fresh mangos, and Thai energy bars, aka, tasty sweet rice in a banana leaf. Once on the SPUs, we were guided through the mangroves which are canals of unique tropical coastal vegetation . The water water was very calm and enjoyable to paddle through. Our hosts provided freshly cut open coconuts to drink after! We loved the whole experience.

Great day on the calm water paddle boarding and saw different islands. If you love the water and exercise, this is a must!

What a lovely day and a great paddling experience with Tan in the mangroves! I was keen on seeing the jungle in Phuket, but with jungle hikes happening only on Mondays, I was happy to discover Paddle Phuket proposal after pages of advertisements for islands excursions. Given the fact that I am a middle aged (54 year old) beginner, I read the reviews carefully and got confident that Tan was the right person for this introduction to paddling. And he was! Tan is a very safe, methodical, competent and amiable instructor. He takes a maximum of 8 clients if they're experienced, less if not. He had planned a beautiful itinerary going through a wide river, narrow channels entangled with mangroves roots and branches and the glorious scenery of the karst islands in the Phang Nga bay. We saw animals too: lots of fish, aquatic birds, even a sea snake wrapped on a branch. Tan tells me that sometimes macaques swim across. These 2 and a half hours on the water passed like an instant. For competent paddlers, Tan has longer, more technical and demanding outings. Absolutely recommended wether you're looking for peace away from the crowds, or the joy of trying a new sport, or a paddle session with a thorough professional, or glorious scenes from the water. Thanks Tan, I hope to come back one day with my children!

My daughter came to Phuket for only a few days and the one thing she wanted to do was stand up paddleboarding.I rang Tan and he was driving so he asked me to message him, so i did, texting and also emailing. He didn't reply so after a day or so my daughter booked us on Tripadvisor. After that Tan email replied and apologised he got confused when speaking to someone else and thought it was us. Fair enough. So we were booked, Tan emailed and asked to chat on phone, we did, all went well, and all was friendly. he organised to pick my daughter up at 7.25am at the hotel and asked me to ride motorbike to meet at a designated area to make it easier for him, then said he'd email more details about what to bring, etc, this was 8 pm the night before. He never emailed the details, so I emailed him an hour later asking what to bring, no reply. My daughter is out front of hotel by herself at 7.15 am eagerly waiting and i ride to Central Phuket where he asked me to be. At 7.30 am daughter rang and says he was not there yet, I said I'll call him. Call 3 times over 30 minutes and no answer, just a message machine, I ask him to call me. Around 8 am my daughter's phone gets a message from Tripadvisor that the booking is canceled. We don't know if that's a mistake so we wait till 8.30 am. Devastated and confused we give up, no call or email from Tan, no apology or reason, nothing, at all ever. My daughter was devastated, and i was extremely annoyed at the disrespect and inconsideration, and abandonment. Tan has never emailed, texted, or phoned since. It would have taken 30 seconds to call us, and he had the number in his phone and in his email. Clearly Tan has more than one personality.

I had a great sup tour with Tan, we visited the beautiful Banana beach and had a great chat on the way. Tan is a great guy and very knowledgeable. I Highly recommend his tour! Thank you Tan

Tan was an excellent tour guide! We booked a sunset tour for 2 pax. It was our first time doing SUP and Tan was extremely patient and told us to just relax and enjoy. We stopped at a small island and stayed on the rocks and ended looking for oysters! What an amazing experience. Tan was a tour guide who would go out of his way to ensure our safety and comfort. I would highly recommend anyone looking to do some relaxing paddle to look for Tan.

Paddle boarding with Tan was my favorite tour from my Thailand trip. We did the half-day mangroves tour. Started the day with a picked up from our hotel. We stopped along the way to pick up some snacks and amazing chicken, before heading to a small fishing village. I had never paddle boarded before, but Tan had me feeling confident and ready to go in minutes. Tan is a very knowledgeable, passionate, and friendly guide. If you want a fun adventure, in beautiful scenery without other tourists this is the trip for you.

I had a sup tour with Tan at the Mangrove, Tan is a very experience and kind instructeur. This is my first time supping, but i feel very safe and comfortable with Tan. He is wel prepared and very enthousastic. So i had a great time. The place he choose to sup was wonderful.

The activity didn't happen as Paddle Phuket had no email or message that I had been booked the activity. They did offer me another day but I am booked on other trips

We went with Tan on a 1-day SUP tour to Phang Nga bay and it was epic - SUP is a great way to explore these limestone and karst islands. We took off in a small and remote village, paddled for hours around the impressive giant limestone rocks, went into the mangroves (where we saw eagles and kingfishers) and returned to our starting point where we had a tasty lunch in a local restaurant. On our way back, we stopped at a viewpoint (getting up the hill was almost an adventure in itself) overseeing the whole bay. We (as SUP enthusiasts) enjoyed this trip so much: the breathtaking views, the good workout and Tan as a passionate and knowledgeable SUP guide!

Tan was a fantastic guide who taught us the basics of SUP within 5 minutes and we could pick it up even as first timers! The setting was also beautiful, super tranquil with absolutely no other tourist in sight and you get to see bits of local life. Highly recommend for an authentic Phuket experience!

What an awesome standup paddleboarding adventure! Starting in Karon, Tan picked us up, stopped for some tasty Thai treats, and drove us up to Layan Beach while giving some great local insight into the different areas of Phuket. Even better was how cheerful, enthusiastic, and laidback Tan was as he guided us on a beautiful day to Banana Beach. Always willing to help and share stories, paddleboarding with Tan is like going out with any other one of your friends and that makes the clear waters and beautiful sights that much better. Thanks again Tan for a great trip and some tasty snacks and good conversation! Definitely recommend!

This was a half day SUP tour with Tan starting out from Layan Beach and ended by Banana Beach. Tan was enthusiastic, informative and took us around the little-known nooks and crannies in the areas around Layan and Banana beaches. This is a great way to see the beautiful beaches of Phuket and thanks to Tan who was so kind, personable and accommodating during the whole trip that made it really memorable.

First of all: Thank you Tan! Tan is the chief, organiser, driver and tourguide of PaddlePhuket and always with a smile. He let us (partner and me) spend our best trip and even best day in Phuket. Trip: full day SUP at Phang Nga Bay / Mangroves, with Pick-up & Drop-off, great equipement, snacks, street-food, droll chats, fruit - drinks and ice on sup, delicious supper, brilliant photos and a breathtaking scenery at the mangroves: a perfect day! One of very few trips I would repeat in my life. See you again!

We did a full day sup trip around Phangga Bay. It was one of the best experiences we have done! We really enjoyed the trip and Tan's hospitality Would really recommend anyone to do the same! Will definitely come back and do another tour with Tan!

The tour was great, the guide was very friendly and we had interesting discussions while paddling. I had never been on paddle boarding before, but with the instructions I managed it:) Great experience, highly recommended!

I had a great day learning something about the plantation and production of rubber, eating nice thai snacks, seeing the beautiful scenery of the north-east of the island and of course having a great time on the SUP with refreshing jumps into the water.
