First time scuba diving! It was magical. Our guide was patient and very helpful when my DD got a little panicky. Fresh water at rainbow river, crystal clear! It was an amazing experience! TY

Kevin was phenomenal. Evangeline was nice and all but she was more focused on the family that was there than me and my friend. I ended up having a hard time after about an hour and half. I kept trying to wave to her to get her attention. It took about 10-15 minutes before she noticed me waving at her. She seemed frustrated that I said I had to go to the boat. Then when all got back to the boat she kinda ignored me. I’m a talker and teacher. I know when someone is igniting or frustrated with me and my friend. The other older lad said she ignored her too.

Captain sandy and our tour guide Dakota were absolutely fantastic! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming! Felt like friends I haven’t seen in a long time! I came up from Punta Gorda for the day and every second in the 6 hour trip was worth this experience with my mom. This is something I will cherish forever! I highly suggest using these guys! I’ll be back for more adventures!

We had two divers and two snorkelers on this trip, and we all had a great experience. Leah, who guided the snorkelers, did a wonderful job pointing out the spring features and the various wildlife along the way. We learned about different birds as well as marveling at the alligator gar and baby turtles! A cool drift dive and snorkel to start our trip!

Absolutely loved and enjoyed our combination Manatee snorkel and Rainbow River scuba dive. Both the Manatee boat driver and exploration for snorkeling guide were Amazing and Knowledgeable. They took us to the clearest waters where we could get the best experience. Our Scuba guide...was more than patient and made our trip all that we wanted it to be. Clearest river dive and absolutely Beautiful!!

Great scuba trip down the Rainbow River with Bill! Bill was knowledgable about the river and the fun sites to see. He was punctual and patient with my scuba questions.

Great experience for my family to swim with the manatees. Our guide Tyler was awesome, friendly, informative and loves his job. My girls will remember this experience for their whole life.

My husband and woke up at 4:30 am And drove almost two hours from St Pete to spend the day with Crystal River Watersports. Not only was it incredibly worth it, but it was one of the best parts of our entire vacation! We started the morning off with a manatee swim with Captain Kevin and Guide Adrienne. To say they were amazing would have been an understatement. They were so personable and taught us so much about the beautiful creatures. I could tell that they really care about the environment and protecting the manatees. We only saw one manatee, but we probably swam with him for over an hour. We got to see him up close. It was amazing. After lunch, we returned to the shop and met up with Vince. We drove about a half hour to Rainbow River, where my husband did a drift dive with Vince and I snorkeled. Vince was so great and he was so patient with us! He showed us so many cool things. We saw a trifle, lots of car, and so many kinds of fish. The River was so clear and beautiful. I’m not the strongest swimmer, but it was actually super relaxing to just float on top and let the current carry me along. In November, the water was not very crowded with other divers, kayakers, or tubers. Anybody that is even slightly considering either of these two experiences should book. I would say it was a once in a lifetime experience all around, but we will definitely be back.

For two days our family of four participated in the Crystal River manatee boat tour and swimming with the manatees tour, scuba drift diving in the Rainbow River, and cavern diving in Williston at the Blue Grotto and Devil’s Den. This is a well-run, world-class business that help plan our Crystal River vacation, provided restaurant and other attraction information, and generally treated us like family. We look forward to returning to the area and again enjoining CR Watersports and the cadre of knowledgable and personable professionals.

Leah & Cody guided us directly to the Manatees , taught us what to and not to do, and experience next level, never to be forgotten. Don’t miss out, bucket list baby!

We booked our tour with Family Adventure Charters. One of the guides of Crystal River Watersports broke etiquette and encroached on our space as our captain was readjusting our anchor. Extremely disappointed that this could have ruined our day and my 40th birthday but thankfully our Captain was professional and got us to another spot. When we encountered this tour guide later in the morning he threw up his hands and said "We gotta share." So disrespectful. We will never book with this company as integrity is important to us.

We did the manatee snorkel, Rainbow River Drift Dive, Blue Grotto, and Devil’s Den. Loved it!!! These were my first fresh water dives, and Vince, our dive guide, was fantastic! Everyone at the shop was super friendly! Definitely recommend!

The Manatee and Rainbow River tour was awesome. The entire team was welcoming and helpful. Heather and Captain John guided us safely to the mother and calf. It’s evident that they love presenting the manatees and the the local area. Rainbow River was equally awesome. Our Divemaster John was equally knowledgeable. The dive was amazing! I had a great time with Crystal River Watersports. I went on a Sunday as a solo snorkeler/diver. They helped me set up a reservation that made the most sense for me! I did the manatee snorkeling in the morning and a rainbow river drift dive in the afternoon. John and Mike were on the manatee snorkeling, and on our way there, they told us all about manatees and I learned some new things! Seeing the manatees was amazing. They took great pictures which I bought later (for extremely reasonable price and got a cute manatee-shaped flash drive). For the rainbow river drift dive, John was the dive guide and I had a great time! It has been several months since I've dove, and he helped me out in remembering all the steps to setting up my gear. He knew the dive site really well, showing me all of the cool things to see, and took some great pictures along the way. I really enjoyed my day with this shop and will certainly be returning sometime soon with some family members to enjoy the manatees of Crystal River!

It was a great Manatee Tour to the Manatee Sanctuary. Robert was the captain and Yvette crewed. Yvette was very patient and helpful and took many pictures for us to bring home. ( of course for a fee). There were little ones on the trip and she was very patient with them. I thoroughly enjoyed being with the manatee, seeing them sleep, seeing babies feeling. This was in early January in the early morning so it was a little chilly riding out, but the water was warmer. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend it. There is nothing better than seeing a manatee in it's own natural environment. The Sanctuaries created protect them and the tours educate but allow people to interact as natural as possible.

Super awesome experience!! The whole family got to see the manatees up close! Captain Vince and Yvette were so helpful and fun!

The guides were very professional and courteous, would highly recommend, our all day experience was one of the highlights of our trip
