Actually the whole trip was a great experience: the ride enjoyable, the stops provided an appreciation of the area, the way to the wine tasting was marvelous, the wine taste itself was a learning experience, the lunch and wine excellent. The guide was very well informed and the driver cautious and efficient. Thanks a lot!

An excellent all day tour of the mountains around Mendoza followed by a wine tasting and lunch. Ricardo was a brilliant guide who made the whole experience very pleasant. The wine tasting was interesting as it covered how the wine industry is innovating at high altitude wineries. Lunch was delicious with interesting wines and a friendly service. The transport was comfortable in a high quality vehicle. I would happily recommend this very good tour.

Our guide Victor coordinated the visit to 4 wineries, including lunch, with the local winery teams. We began with Norton, which is responsible for bringing Malbec to Argentina, then Bodeguer, a boutique winery, then lunch at Susana Balboa’s Osadia, then high altitude wines at Terrazas. It was a great introduction to Mendoza’s diverse wine community. I’ll be back!

This was one of the best days of our lives. The scenery was breathtaking, the wine was amazing, and our guide Ricardo was so knowledgeable about anything and everything to do with Mendoza and the surrounding regions.

This trip was worth every penny! We went to two vineyards, took a tour of the mountains and had several scenic stops. Food was incredible! Guide was fantastic. Went above and beyond to keep us happy and comfortable. Was very knowledgeable about the culture, history and area. Spoke English fluently as well as Spanish. I highly recommend doing this trip if given the opportunity!

Ivan was a great tour guide and knowledgeable about the area, history and wines. He is a sommelier trained in France and was very patient with our stops for lunches and photos. Highly recommend this trip. I would have liked maybe one more winery as part of the tour.

I loved the guide and driver. They were both excellent. Communication with the company beforehand was great. They were very responsive. It would be a 5 but I didn’t love the wineries we visited. The people there were lovely it’s just wasn’t my favorite food and wine. That being said I think wine and food is very specific to a person. I think many people might enjoy it, just not my favorite. I had visited some the day before which were a better fit for me. I would suggest letting the company know what you like and don’t like so they can match you with a good winery.

Scheduled our tour on line and made one adjustment as we wanted to visit Salentein vineyards and Trout and Wines made it happen. A smiling Flor picked us up on time and was a delightful guide throughout the day. We visited Masi, Salentein and finished at Andeluna for late lunch. All the visits were excellent. Masi was intimate and had Angelina as our hostess who clearly explained the facilities and processes and finished with a very nice tasting acompanied by very good empanadas. We had a good guide at Salentein with gave us a good tour and had us taste 4 delightful wines. We finished at Andeluna with a delicious lunch accompanied by at least 4 wines. We were pleasantly tired by the time we returned to Mendoza. Flor was organized, funny, great english and fun to be with. Highy recommend her as a guide.

Wally and Flor made for an unforgettable experience. The level of professionalism, the expertise, the fun, …. I can’t say enough about it other than to say ….. it’s worth it. Our group was made up of my 13 year old son, my wife and me. The truck was excellent. The wineries excellent. The pairing lunch a 10.

We had an absolutely amazing time. The guides were great and we learned a lot about the region and wine area from them. The wineries were great, although we would have preferred to only go to small vineyards in hindsight. Nevertheless, it was an amazing experience and would happily book again next time we are in the area.

It was a great 2 days of great wine and weather. Our tour guide Flora and our driver Nicholas were great. Everyone was nice and I rot recommend her.

This was a perfect day for us. With four adults, two not as interested in winemaking, it was a great balance of seeing the area, touring one winery with a tasting and then off to another winery for a delicious lunch with amazing views of the Andes. Ivan, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and Nico, our driver, was very capable. Both did what they could to make sure our needs were taken care of and everyone had a wonderful day. Would highly recommend!!

Over the course of six hours, we visited three amazing wineries in the Uco Valley, led by the incomparable Renzo who guided us through over a dozen plus wines. Trout & Wine picked us up at our local hotel in Lujan de Cuyo and introduced the five couples on the tour to the history of wine in Mendoza as we made our 45 minute trip to the Uco Valley in the south. Renzo, who has worked in a number of Italian wine houses and is a master sommelier, explained the complexities of making wine in Argentina, walking us through the challenges that heat and elevation add to viniculture in the region. He introduced us first to Familia Blanco, a small family run winery with a lively and charming Brazilian host. Then it was on to Masi Tupungato, where the long-standing Italian winemaker Masi has brought their ripasso method to Argentina. We finished the day with an amazing multi-course gourmet lunch at Andeluna with delicious wine pairings and lively conversation. As we said, it was a fantastic way to spend a day.
