Hands down the BEST experience while on vacation! Conner is the absolute Best Guide! He is intentional with listening to what you want to experience, he offers Great suggestions as he knows all the most beautiful spots. We were a group of four. We started our morning off with waterfalls and cliff jumping which was such an Amazing experience! Then we headed out to do some snorkeling which was so much more than we have ever experienced! From there we had lunch at this amazing food truck area and then headed to see some sleeping turtles! ❤️ We then took a breath taking tour around the island and stopped for pictures before heading back. I would HIGHLY suggest this tour AND Conner to show you around and do all the things you loved and never knew you loved!! 5 STARS!! Thanks Conner!! Such a wonderful memory!!

This was by far the best way to explore Oahu. Where they took us was not at all crowded and our guide Ryan took us to do all the things on our list. I would strongly recommend this to anyone traveling to Oahu. We communicated with him the day before and built the plan for the day. Ryan knew all the prime spots and was very friendly.

What an amazing day. Having a private guide show you the island and take you do the things that you and your family want to do is priceless. We spent the day with our guide Chase... and it felt like spending the day with a good friend we hadn't seen in the while. He was charming, funny, knowledgeable, laid back, hard working and authentic. He took us on great hikes; to cliff jumping spots, to some beautiful lookout spots, to watch amazing surfers, to great food trucks, and on a fun paddle board journey where we saw turtles and sting rays. We traveled all around the island... and really got a feel for the different areas. It is crazy how much we fit in. We would have wasted so much time trying to do those things on our own and just would not have known where to go or been sure we were up to those fun experiences. Chase bonded with my husband, me and our teenagers. Just a wonderful day... so worth the money. We were all exhausted that night!

We had an amazing tour with Ryan this week! He took our family of five on a truly amazing adventure getting every last ounce of fun in just one day. We snorkeled first and cliff jumped at a beautiful waterfall. Next we stopped for lunch at a few delicious food trucks on the North Shore. And last but not least we saw several sea turtles while paddle boarding. The kids even enjoyed a super awesome rope swing to top it all off. If you’re looking for a one stop shop for a day of adventure, this is it!

Mahina Tours was recommended to us as the best tour operator in Oahu and so happy we found them. My husband, 3 adult daughters and I spent 3 adventure filled days with Ryan - SUPing, hiking, snorkling, cliff jumping and stopping to eat at some amazing food trucks. I can honestly say that these experiences were so special - we would have never found them ourselves. Ryan’s unique knowledge of the island coupled with inconsistent weather meant we were going to the right place at the right time. And he captured all of these memories for us on his GoPro for us. Fantastic experience!!

For my 75th birthday, we treated my children and grandchildren to a trip to Hawaii. They live in North Dakota and my grandchildren had never been to Hawaii. I booked this tour for them as an introduction to Hawaii. Our full day adventure included hiking to a waterfall, cliff jumping, snorkeling, watching surfers since we were too overwhelmed to try for ourselves, dining at local food trucks and driving through the beautiful scenery Oahu has to offer. Our guides, Conner and Chace, made every effort to ensure our comfort and individual interests were being met. They were knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and instructional with our grandchildren. Making eight people (with an age range of 8 to 75) happy was accomplished effortlessly by Chace and Conner. We definitely recommend Mahina Hawaii to anyone wishing a day full of adventure and fun in a family friendly atmosphere.

Connor is an amazing and knowledgeable local guide and he has an easy going personality. He tailored the experience to our interests and ensured a personalized and engaging experience. He provided transportation, life jackets, kayaks, water, & snacks. He also provides other equipment, but we opted out of snorkeling because of the days choppy waters. Our first stop was a hidden gem of a waterfall. We had the waterfall and the swimming area below the fall all to ourselves. We then stopped at Pali Lookout. Next we kayaked around Mokoli’i’ Island. After that we ate lunch and had our pick of delicious smelling food trucks. After eating yummy plates from Kahuku Famous Shrimp, we kept driving towards the North Shore while making stops to see some beautiful spots. We made a stop at Waimea Bay where Connor took us to a cliff overlooking the crashing waves below. It was breathtaking to see the waves crash onto the rocks below us while feeling a spritz from splashing sea water. We had the cliff all to ourselves. Our last stop was Tantalus Lookout where we saw beautiful views while the sun was setting. Connor took pictures/video of us through the day and air dropped them at the end of the day. We highly recommend Mahina Adventures and Connor.

Today we had a full day out in Oahu with Connor. He was very knowledgeable of the island and some history while going through some well known visited areas. I loved how this trip was customizable to each group. Connor was easy going allowing us to make stops we had not yet discussed and allowing us to be on our own time. He was super patient teaching us to paddle board and very proactive taking pictures throughout our excursions. He even made me feel comfortable to cliff jump! That says ALOT. I would highly recommend anyone visiting the island for the first or second time to book this excursion. You’ll get to do all things you want to do with a local! Also, if you think 8 hours is too long, it isn’t. It goes by super fast.

I cannot image a better adventure on Oahu!! Ryan was a great guide, took us to beautiful places where no one was around, took videos even drone videos of our excursion! Lots of fun! You will not be disappointed! Go on this adventure!😀

Only giving this a 5 star because I can’t give higher!!! We did a full day private tour with Mahina Hawaiian tours yesterday. By far, the highlight of our trip! My son keeps saying it was the best day of his life! Our guide, Ryan is so nice and knowledgeable and so much fun to hang out with! He took us to beautiful beaches to snorkel with sea turtles and tropical fish, a cute little beach town for lunch and cliff jumping at a beach and a waterfall. While I was super nervous to let my son do this, Ryan talked us both through it and helped me feel safe letting him because he could tell my son really wanted to do it! This was worth every penny and we will definitely do it again on our next trip! I would highly recommend this for anyone coming!!!

A private custom tour of the island, could not have gotten any better!! We gave Ryan an idea of what we were interested in & he planned out one of our very favorite days on our 10-day trip: Paddleboarding! Cliff jumping by a waterfall! Climbing to the top of a volcano! Awesome views of the ocean & turtles! Exploring a lava tube! It was a blast. Since Ryan grew up on the island, he knew where to go to avoid touristy/crowded spots (places you'd never find on your own) & shared some fun facts/history about the island along the way. Not to mention, he was just fun to be around, which is important when you're spending a whole day together! He also took photos & videos of all of our adventures so we could totally be in the moment but still capture the memories! Seriously, don't second guess this one, beyond worth it! Thank you, Ryan!!

My husband and I decided to treat ourselves a day off with kids duty during our 3 week vacation in Hawaii. We asked Mahina to arrange us a day full of adventure and activities (especially those hard to do with little kids). Connor was an amazing guide. He took us to the North Shore and filled the day with wonderful adventure - we did kayaking, snorkeling, cliff jumping, and some off-the-beaten-path hiking. He was very knowledgeable about Oahu, and we learned a lot about the surfing community there. He was also very flexible and was able to improvise the plan according to our taste and the weather condition on that day. A bonus point is that he took great pictures of us in the water with his Gopro. I highly recommend Mahina's service - it's a small company and unlike some standardized tours, they really listen!

Hands down our best day on Oahu. Only regret is not booking 2 days. No way we could have covered the ground we did on our own. Ryan is a great guide- personable, good conversationalist, informative, just all around good guy. We were able to snorkel Three Tables to Sharks Cove, Cliff Jump at Waimea Bay, Hike Ehukai Pillbox hike and Stand up paddle board on the river in Haleiwa. He took pictures the entire time documenting our day so we could be fully in the moment. We are a family of 4- ranging in ages 15-55, varying levels of physical ability. Highly recommend. We will definitely book again on any return trip to Oahu

My boyfriend booked the full day tour after a recommendation from a friend and our excursion did not disappoint! Ryan coordinated activities based around our preferences and took us to locations that we would never have found by ourselves. We spent the day snorkeling, hiking and swimming and made lots of memories and stories to share. Plus, he offered a lot of advice and suggestions for the rest of our stay on the island. I'd recommend this tour group to anyone who wants a unique experience during their visit to Oahu.

We’re a family of 5 with three daughters ranging from 10 - 14 yrs. Ryan (awesome guide) picked us up for our day of adventure at 10 am. First stop was snorkeling were Ryan patiently taught us first timers, made us comfortable and showed us some incredible marine wildlife including a few turtles. Then off to some unforgettable views of coastlines and great pics on our way to our second adventure … body surfing in eastern Oahu. All of us being pretty hungry we picked up some poke at a local spot that was our best meal of the trip. We capped it off with some great cliff jumping. It was great to learn more about Oahu, it’s people and make a new friend in Ryan (our guide and friend). If you’re an individual or family that wants to experience the adventure side of Oahu then Mahina Hawaii is it. They’ll dial it up if you want to push the limits, or dial down if you want adventure but not hair on fire adventure. Appreciate you, Ryan, Lord willing we’ll be back again.

I can't say enough good things about this experience! Ryan thoughtfully planned a full day of activities that matched our family's diverse interests and strengths, including some informational stops around the island, snorkeling at a local swimming area along a reef, hiking through mixed terrain (bamboo, rock scrambles, and forest slopes) to a waterfall, and finally another off-the-beaten path waterfall with some thrilling jumps. Throughout the whole day, he set an upbeat, laid-back tone for the group while sharing his local own stories and perspective. I was most impressed by how Ryan engaged with everyone in our group, laughing at my 11yo's stream of science facts, coaching my 15yo as she found the courage to leap from a 20-foot cliff, and chatting with my adult brother about the local music scene. It became clear that Mahina Tours are based on a love for Hawaii when Ryan paused to clean up strangers' trash and invited some semi-lost hikers to follow us along a hard-to-navigate trail. Thank you, Mahina Tours! Can't wait to do this again!

Great time. Conner our guide was awesome, he made sure this was one of the best experience of our trip, providing a customized day of adventure and fun. He listen to what we wanted to experience and made it happen, showing us places and food stops we never of would of found on our own. Best experience I’ve had with a tour guide. Ryan understood what we wanted and the right fun / risk level for us immediately and took us to some cool places to cliff jump / snorkel / paddle board / hike. Ryan not only knew the best secret spots, but also customized our trip based on weather, tide, time of day, human and car traffic to optimize our adventure. He is also big on safety and gives specific instructions to make sure his group stays safe and has fun. Would recommend to anyone visiting Oahu and will definitely be going out with him again if we come back.

Our party of four booked a full day adventure with Mahina, and Connor proved to be an excellent guide! We've been to Oahu before, but wanted to do something different on this trip, and Connor delivered! After chatting with him on the phone the day before, we opted for some sightseeing, kayaking, and hiking. Connor knew much about these subjects and more, and filled our day with activity and cool sightseeing. Connor is easygoing, friendly, flexible, and most of all, patient. He knows the questions to ask to provide a great time for all, including lunch choices. We had a delightful day with Connor and plan to book a day with Mahina again next year when we return to Oahu.
