What a magical experience this was! I had the most amazing time in the desert with our hosts, the Berber musicians were playing music when we arrived and we danced to our hearts content! And the night music after a lovely sunset camel ride and tagine dinner was also such an amazing experience. Thank you to everyone who made this so memorable and I can’t wait to do this again when I’m in Morocco!

Started with the departure on time at the meeting point clearly identified. We rode to the Agafai desert, 1 hour in a comfortable van. The desert is vast and pretty, just don’t expect to see sand dunes, is mostly rocky barrens hills that, nevertheless, had its own charming. We were greeted in the tents with tea and cookies, and pleased with typical music from local performers. There is no feeling of rush. Be aware if you do not book other activities but the dinner only, the spare time is more than 2 hours, waiting for the parties doing the camel ride and the quad bike ride. Just seat and relax, our host Rashid recommends to bring something to read. The diner was good. Tagine chicken and vegetables, fruits and bread. A little fest follows around the camp fire and finally returned to the departure point around 11. In general was a nice, different experience than we enjoyed.

We booked before our trip to Marrakesh with Travel Sky Morocco and Hicham was our guide. There are a lot of companies doing this trip. From the moment we were met at around 5pm our trip was well organised, in the chaos of traffic that is Marrakesh we were grateful that the pick up went smoothly. Hicham contacted us on the day of our trip by WhatsApp with coordinates of where to meet. After pick up we went to our first stop a cooperative where they make traditional products and where given tea. Then onto the Agafay desert where you can ride a camel for about 15 to 20 mins. I chose not to and that was fine whilst my partner did the trip which he enjoyed very much. Then onto dinner which was a traditional meal of a small soup to start followed by a chicken tagline with bread and vegetables side dish followed by a chopped apple and cinnamon desert. Portion sizes were average and for us plenty, you are also given water. Vegetarian options were also available. The site of the dinner is wonderful, a magical experience with music and dancers and as night falls small fires are lit. The view from the camp where the dinner is held across the desert is a must see experience. There is participatory dancing ( if you want to) and the night ended around 10.30pm when we were driven back to our central pick up point in the Medina arriving about 11.30 pm or just after. The whole experience was well organised with family groups and much older people all seeming to enjoy themselves as much as we did. We definitely recommend Hicham as a professional guide and think that the tour is pretty good value for money. We enjoyed the evening very much.

Beautiful scenery, good programs but very loose schedule. It was advertised with hotel pick up and ended up having to walk to a hotel to the other side of the town. The bus was not the most comfortable but did the job. My issue, that there was long waiting time between programs and it wasn't much communication or info sharing between the "Guide" and guests. Waited nearly 1 hour till the Camel ride, which was roughly 15 minutes. Then another 45 mins for the Quad, nearly missed the sunset between waiting and setting up for the activities. The food was great, the "Berber" entertaining was nice ( not authentic ). Overall we are glad that we did it, but should have organised tighter schedule.

It was a chill and relaxing evening tour. If you are looking for tranquility, this is the place for you. The music, scenery, people and food were all great.

Spectacular welcoming from the people who ran the tour, lots of music, singing and dancing! The camel ride was the best so far where they actually take you away from any traffic/ other people so you feel like you’re actually in Agafey desert. The good buffet was very tasty - kudos to the chef! We had some cloud cover so didn’t catch the sunset as well as we could have done, but it was still well worth it.

This was one of our favourite experiences in Marrakech and the perfect finish to our trip. The highlight was the Moroccan music and dancing which was such fun! The tea was delicious and everyone was welcoming. The camels seemed very well cared for. Beautiful sunset, delicious food and plenty of water provided. Everyone was very friendly and Rachid, our tour guide, made sure everyone was included and was generally great.

We booked this experience with Omar Tours via Viator. It was recommended to us by friends that had recently been too. The pickup was near the Medina and not from our hotel but there was clear communication and a member of staff was there to greet us. They kindly bought chilled water for everyone and took us in an AC Minibus to the desert. The driver was excellent as traffic is bad in Marrakech. At the site we had tea and some local music. Then they offered us costumes and a camel ride. There is an option to also do quad bikes but we had done this before. Later there was a bonfire and more music and dancing after a wonderful buffet was prepared and it included a few vegetarian options. The chicken too was amazing. A range of salads and couscous dishes. We then had a final bit of entertainment and were dropped back to Marrakesh. I cannot thank Rachid for all his hospitality and for giving us such an amazing time. If you only do one tour in Marrakech.... This has to be it. Worth every penny.

It was a fantastic experience. Since the pickup, we could see several exciting spots. The staff was very attentive, and we stopped on the way to get water for everyone. When arriving in the desert, the structure where dinner takes place is very well organized, with bathrooms. The camel ride and the sunset are fantastic. Despite being served as a buffet, dinner is more than enough for everyone present and the food is delicious. The music show was a big surprise. Everyone participated in the dance and interacted. My daughter and nephews loved the experience.

Simply amazing! From the starting camel ride where we were outfitted to feel like real travelers with head scarfs and robes to the amazing dinner, great show and overall fun atmosphere. The people running the show were so nice and friendly, they took tons of pictures of us on the camels and for our three days in Morocco all 6 of us said the Camel ride here was the best part! If you have little ones(ours are 5 and 8) it is a very long show/dinner but well worth it. Highly recommend.

The excursion was very well organized and very very pleasant. Rachid, our guide helped us with everything and he was always kind and respectful. We had everything we needed. The camp was fully equipped and the food was amazing. Every one from the stuff was nice and we felt very welcomed.

Beautiful experience 10/10! I originally booked for Camel Riding, but got the option to add quad biking to my experience for 300-400 dirham. Would recommend to anybody 🔥🔥

Unique and beautiful experience to savor the true lifestyle of the Moroccan people and understand their traditions

This was brilliant… thought the highlight would be the camel ride but Anas our guide made the day …. He made sure we didn’t lose our place in the queue for the camel ride and looked after us the whole time…. Great meal after, then amazing club like atmosphere then more still, a fire eater showman then great music on the mini bus on the way back. Mustafa the best driver of the trip too despite having to navigate some bumpy roads … can’t recommend this highly enough…. It’s a 6 out of 5 !!!
