Enjoyed the historic tour of Lyon! Paul had a passion for talking about the city he lives in. So good to hear of all the interesting history of Lyon. It's a beautiful and interesting city.

Despite our group being quite big, Paul managed to keep us all together and spoke clear enough that the whole group could hear him all the time. His knowledge and sense of humour was fantastic, we saw some great things, and got fantastic recommendations. I went to one of the places that he suggested for lunch and it was delicious.

Paul's tour was amazing! Paul walked us through Lyon's well-known historic neighborhoods, from the Slopes to hidden traboules, reviving us stories about silk workers and other important historic moments. Paul's tour was very interesting, I definitely recommend it!

We had a great tour with Paul, was informative and interesting. We covered a good section of Lyon’s peninsula and old Lyon. Extra information given by Paul was useful to continue the visit by ourselves.

Paul lead a wonderful tour. He guided us through Lyon with a Masters in cat hearding, a Doctorate in cultural history, and a post-doc in contemporary Leon. We saw a lot, learned a lot, and appreciated his clear voice and tall stature.

Guide was great and showed us a lot of interesting passages. He kept a very large group moving. 4 stars as the group was over 50 people!!!!

One of the most thorough and interesting tours that I have taken of a city center. Paul was so knowledgeable about the history of Lyon and he really led us through the different neighborhoods to maximize our experience in only two hours. I would highly recommend him as your best starting point of a visit to Lyon.

I value my time. I am taking free tours, not because they are cheaper, but because they are generally better, This tour is no exception at all. The tour is well structured, with some practical information summarized at the end, so will not forget where to get lunch, buy something, etc. Paul speaks fast, but very clear. Reasonable amount of interaction makes this tour lively. The factual information Paul presents is detailed and deep. Very, very good tour.

Fun, interesting and informative. I especially liked the history of the silk workers, but tips on where to have lunch were also useful.

A flying visit to Lyon was made perfect by the walking tour with Paul. He was knowledgeable, interesting and fun to listen to. We would not have seen the places we did without him. The guide books are great, but lack the fun and quirky facts that Paul spoke about. I wish we had had the time to go with him on his other tour. Definitely recommend seeing Lyon with Paul.

I did both tours as the first one was informative and very interesting. You got to understand how Lyon had developed as a city and learnt details and visited areas that without a guide you would mot see or appreciate.

Walking tours are always an excellent choice in any city. It gives you a great amount of the city history and also general culture. Paul guided us in a very charismatic way showing hidden gems of the city. At the end of the tour enjoy a good meal at Armada (recommended by Paul)
