Amazing time at all the breweries and well organized! Bus driver and staff were fantastic! Would recommend to anyone and will be doing it again!

There was some mix up with the venues we were going to be taken to that were different from what was listed at the time of booking which thankfully was partially rectified. Jose was our tour guide and he was phenomenal. Even though there was a mixup he made the trip great. Make sure you know the venues you paid for as we paid more for a location with whisky specifically and that was not originally On our itinerary until we pointed out that was the location included in our verification email.

This was my very first beer tour and it certainly will not be my last! Attention to detail was spot on, our guide was so helpful and fun. We met some really nice people and the brewery/cider house choices were perfect, wonderful variety. We are regulars now and will highly recommend this to our friends!

This was an awesome tour and I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to explore local breweries. Our driver and tour guide (Rogie) was great and he was a very good driver and multitasker at the breweries by helping to serve the drinks and food! He was very knowledgeable on the breweries and the beer and cider. He was a lot of fun and made sure that we had an enjoyable day! The staff at the places we visited were very accommodating and answered the many questions they were asked. I would not hesitate to use this company for another tour!

Angela helped me plan a the Beer Tour for my husbands surprise 30th birthday party. We had the most amazing time! Angela made aure to help create a tour that best suited the needs of my whole group. Each place we visited was so unique and the staff at each place was very informative and kind. A great way to sample the craft brewing talent right in our own backyard!!! Spent a wonderful afternoon touring 4 local breweries around Steel Town. The tour bus was clean and comfortable and the whole afternoon was well planned and organized. Each stop had a unique vibe and experience. Loved meeting Brewmasters who shared their history and passion for their craft and not to mention tasting all the delicious beers our community has to offer. The organizer even took into account special dietary requests and the food and beer pairing at Merit was absolutely delicious! I would highly recommend this tour for locals and tourists alike. Will definitely tour again with Original Hamilton Beer Tours! Cheers to the next time!

Amazing time on the Hamilton beer tour. Angela was so helpful and accommodating through changing numbers, me being indecisive of where we wanted to go and ensuring we even had a vegetarian food option. Robert our bus driver was beyond awesome and totally made sure we had a smooth & incredible time. All the breweries were fantastic! Cannot recommend enough and look forward to going back!! Prior to this trip I had no idea how many craft breweries had opened in Hamilton. I learned a lot about why it's picking up and sampled at 4 different stops at different points throughout the city. Each one had its own take on what to focus on for our tour which kept everyone engaged in more than just the beer; mind you the beer was still my favourite part! Our tour guide on the bus and coordinating at the stops was Paul and he was very easy going yet kept things running smooth without ever making us feel rushed. A very cool way to spend an afternoon!

What a great way to spend a day sampling some local brews!! Paul and Angela set up a very enjoyable afternoon visiting 4 breweries and a local cider house, each of which shared their history along with information about the delicious beers on offer. Lunch that was provided at Merit satisfied various dietary needs. It was not only filling and delicious, it was also paired beautifully with some of their unique craft brews. The bus was clean and spacious for our group, with room for people to store purchases made along the tour. The driver was polite and after a few hours sampling various local wares, the snacks and non beer beverages provided onboard were perfect at soaking up some of the days festivities. I would definitely recommend this tour to any beer lover or group of friends looking for a great day out!!

Wife and I and a bunch of friends joined Paul and Angela on a nice Sunday afternoon on the beer bus. Paul did a great job preparing us for the tour and giving us some background info without stealing the thunder from the breweries. We first hit Custom Arts on to Merit, Grain and Grit and closed er off at Fairweather. We have since been to West Avenue as well. What a great time ! Had no idea Hamilton had such great beer and cider to offer. Custom Arts did a phenomenal job explaining the journey and showing us around the brewery, Merit where we had lunch had the best prepared sausages ( no filler, great tasting) and Fresh Cut Fries were awesome too ! Did I mention the beer ? Wicked.. On to Grain and Grit which was a very unique experience where we got to pow wow with Alex who is one of the brewmasters and loved the Pineapple brew and happen to have some Candy Cane Beer which surprisingly was good too. Funny guy, and a great passion for the cause... Fairweather- abundant selection and good place to close the tour off. Highly recommend this tour, well planned, exceptional fresh beer, you won't want store bought ever again and a great way to see a number of breweries and make some friends along the way.

Original Hamilton Beer Tours did a fantastic job taking us to 4 unique establishments in the area. The samples were generous and the information provided very interesting! Lunch was included and was delicious! The driver kept us on schedule and the bus was also stocked with water (mineral & natural) and other snacks and goodies which I thought was a great idea. The relaxed afternoon flew by and my eyes have been opened to some terrific local brews!

Angela and Paul did a fantastic job working with me to prepare this trip. It was my wife's 40th birthday present and I wanted to include a little surprise element. Angela went out of her way to decorate the bus and deliver a 'Happy Birthday' sign to West Avenue cider - a nice touch. We visited four places in all, including West Ave Cider, Sean and Eds, Fairweather Brewing, and Merit Brewing. All four places were contrasting in their styles of beer; Sean and Eds specialises in Lagers and the other two had more variety (Sours, IPA, Ales, Stouts etc). The last stop also including a dinner. All four places had a great selection of cider and beers. We had two tours (one at Sean and Eds and the other at Fairweather) which was a nice touch as I believe there is usually only one included in the price. This was a very informative part of the tour, not only from a beer making perspective but also listening to the journey of these start-up operators and the challenges they went through to establish their businesses. The atmosphere at Merit was great and the shared platters of food were a perfect accompaniment to a group setting. The sausage were DELISH!!! The bus was very tidy and Paul did a great job with organising us and making sure we were on time. The snacks were included and very much appreciated by the group - especially after stop three! All in all a great trip with excellent beer and cider - a must do if you want to experience breweries without the hassle of taking a cab (which by the way would be way more expensive, given the relative distance between establishments).

We had a fantastic day touring local breweries with the Original Hamilton Beer Tour. The whole day was thoughtfully planned and well organized. Each brewery took the time to chat with us to explain their history and what’s special about their beers...as we sampled them! And the lunch we had at Merit was amazing! The tour bus they have was perfect…spacious enough to hold our group of 20. Would highly recommend this tour as a way to get out and experience the growing new culture of craft beer in Hamilton.

WE visited three great breweries each with a unique take on the craft brewing industry. The bus was a very comfortable and convenient way to tour the city of Hamilton when going between the breweries. The tours were well organized and each site was ready for our arrival and were prepared to handle a large group. Great value for the money!
