This was not only the best day trip of my.life but the veichle, drivers and guide were fantastic. Harby the guide was just an encyclopedia and the way he spoke and his manner was exceptional. It's a privilege to be able to see what we did. Don't take it for granted it breathtaking. We had to change days after the cut off for the cancellation but the date was changed without any costs to us. Highly recommend

Had a private tour just myself and driver and guide was very relaxed a d able to go at my own pace Georges was a great guide, not pushy at all. The only thing so would say is the tour was advised by Viator for $200, but I paid $320, no idea why the price hike as it’s not explained on the website. I’m assuming as so had a car, driver and guide to myself the prices increased. Although an explanation would be great by TripAdvisor or Viator

Brilliant trip not to be missed but be prepared for the bumpy roads around Luxor. Lunch could have been better. Karnack and the Valley of the Kings are both spectacular

It was such a great trip and nice and professional organization that I can highly recommend this tour and the Memnon Travel agency. Of course, it is a long way from our Red Sea Resort to Luxor (a 4 to 5 hours drive one way), but it was absolutely worth seeing. We felt very comfortable in the car with our two drivers. And Aiman was an excellent guide. The program in Luxor covers the most important sights and everything is included in the price. Especially the tombs are one of the best things I have ever seen. Absolutely amazing!

Excellent day out to the Valley of the kings. Got picked up on time from Tui Magic life kalawy. Although the trip is offered in house I wanted to go on a different day so this was a perfect alternative. The guide was very informative and the driver excellent. We had a lovely lunch and there were various stops each way for refreshments etc. I was well looked after. Would recommend this company.

Several companies offer cheaper and probably good day trips to Luxor from Hurghada. Since one of us has some trouble moving, and since we wanted to have some sleep before we went on the balloon ride and saw the sights, we paid quite a lot extra for the exclusive variant, being just the two of us with the driver Anthony and our guide Arbi. That meant leaving at a more reasonable time (in the afternoon instead of in the middle of the night) and spend the night at a five star Hotel in Luxor, with everything included, dinner, breakfast buffet, lunch etc. Even though this was quite pricy for us, it was absolutely worth it. Our guide Arbi spoke perfect English, was very kind and incredibly informative, no matter what our (many) questions concerned. He took the time to go above and beyond his role as a guide and even described present Egyptian culture. The driver Anthony was very professional, kind and a calm driver, in what was at times very heavy and extraordinarily difficult traffic. The logistics for the balloon ride worked as a charm and the ride will be a memory for life. There was even some time to relax on the boat to the restaurant where we had lunch. This place was also perfect (with wonderful mahsi and molokhea that Arbi had remembered we craved). Can’t think of anything negative. Although we had trouble transferring money since we didn’t have euros or dollars in cash (we didn’t know that you can’t get euros or dollars at the ATM in Egypt), nothing became an issue. At one point there was a harmless misunderstanding with the itinerary which was immediately solved to our liking and with extra care by Arbi and Memnon Reisen, with no further ado. All in all, it was a perfect trip!

From first contact till return really perfect organized. Driver very polite, safe and comfortable ride in almost new car. Guide Naschaat Obaid, a Dr. Prof. Of Egyptoligy, perfect german speaking, did an absolutely Phantastic job. He showed and explained perfect and we had a really great time with him. All Thumbs up..

I did alot of research before going to Luxor from Hurgada as the road is long. And we wanted to make sure to eliminate as much driving time and waiting time as possible, which would be if traveling with a group by bus. After seeing so many positive reviews of this company, we decided to book them, just for two of us. This was really the best desicion!! They arrived on time, at 5am. The car was comfortable, with AC. Very good driver Ibrahim, driving fast but careful. The drive from our hotel took 4,5 hours one way and 4 hours back. Our tour guide Harby was very knowledgable. He took photos of us and gave us enough free time to wander around on our own. If you plan to go to Luxor, I really recommend going with them, and book private, you will save a lot of time and won't be as exausted . We booked directly from their website, which helped to have a lower price.

Harbi is a great guide, very knowledgeable and adjusts everything to your individual needs. Being a family father himself he understands dealing with "anything".

We did extensive research on tours to Luxor because it was important to us that we get the best experience. Harbi was so knowledgeable and the way he told historical facts through stories and visual drawings made the tour so interesting and engaging. His communication with the driver was flawless. Our driver always had cold drinks ready for us! This was a splurge but well worth. Definitely do not booking a private tour. This experience was once in a lifetime and we are happy we chose Memnon Reisen!

We did a lot of research before booking this tour and we could not have made a better choice! We also booked a private tour in Cairo with a different provider before this trip and can safely say the experience with Memnon Reisen was in a different league. We booked through Viator so we could pay online. Although it went through late in the evening we received WhatsApp confirmation almost immediately. Communication and organisation was exceptional from the beginning. Our driver was really polite and friendly and kept us topped up with ice-cold bottled water and soft drinks all day. It was over 40 degrees and a long day so we went through a lot of drinks between us but never exhausted the supply. Lunch was delicious. Drinks in the restaurant were extra but we had fresh juice which was both good value and delicious. We also chose to add on the additional cost to see Tutankhamun’s tomb in the Valley of the Kings on the day. Our guide Gerges was so knowledgeable and personable. We knew we were in great hands for the day and throughly enjoyed every moment of the tour. His English was impeccable and you could tell he had been a guide for 2 decades. 100% recommend this tour and Memnon Reisen. If we ever get to return to Egypt, we will be booking all our tours through them.

Great trip, guide spoke great English, shared excellent knowledge, shielded us from hawkers and merchants, tailored our experience to us. Driver was friendly, keep us fed and watered and got us there earlier, avoiding queues and delays. Lunch was excellent at a local restaurant.

We would highly recommend this trip to anyone wanting to see as much as possible in one day. Thank you to our amazing guide Harby, so knowledge and attentive. We spent 2 days in Luxor . Thank you for the best guide Abdul and perfect driver Ibrahim. The sightseeing and transportation was well tailored for us and very comfortable . The assistance of Mohamend via whatsapp was perfect , even 5 in the morning! I truly recommend this company . Comparing quality and the price it is also very good when you compare to other offers . If we come back to Egipt I would go stright to your company to ask for trips! The only thing I would change is lunch . It was not good. We prefer local traditional restaurants or even small bars , but after one day we changed it with our guide and i was perfect👍🏻

24/7/23 Did the private tour to Luxor, Valley of the Kings from Hurghada. Collected promptly by our guide (Momen) and 2 drivers from our hotel. Bottled water supplied all day (and it was cold!) which was very much needed as the temperature was 45 degrees. The guide was fantastic and a big shout out to him (Momen), he was knowledgeable, fun, interesting and fanatical about Egyptology. Karnak Temple was so impressive and definitely one of the trips highlights. Valley of the Kings was also great, the tombs are jaw dropping when you are actually stood inside and you can witness the intricacy of the hieroglyphics, the colours and you also have the option of seeing Tutankhamun! The excursion includes a visit to Hatshepsut Temple and Colossi of Memnon. The 1 hour Nile cruise is more like 20 minutes. We were not on a felluca boat but a small boat with a motor. It was pleasant enough. Momen sorted out the tip for the captain of the boat so we didn't need to. Lunch was a traditional Egyptian meal (chicken, beef or veggie option). This was really nice. Drinks are not included in the excursion cost and can be expensive. You will also stop off at a Papyrus shop and an Alabaster shop who will try to sell you everything at highly inflated prices. I'm sure if you said to tour guide you would rather not visit these places then this could be arranged. If you do visit, please barter and be prepared to walk away. Take some small EGP/Euro currency as you have to pay to use the bathrooms as the stop off points. If you visit in the height of summer, I would advise umbrellas to help shield you from the sun, high factor sun screen, hats and to wear loose fitting clothing - ideally that cover your arms/legs as you will be outside for the majority of the day.

Trip was top drawer from start to finish even though it’s a 4 hour mooch there and back we had a good kip on the way out and on the way back it’s an eye opener just looking out of the window at the every day goings on, Harvey the guide and Chico the driver were sound lads and stopped us getting mithered off all the blaggers 👍🏻

After we had a terrible experience with another company, we found this tour late at night. I sent a message to the operator of the tour and I received an immediate response. I was very impressed. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and so pleasant which made the long trip worthwhile. We saw all the sites mentioned and we had a long explanation on each of the sites. The tour guide also acted as a buffer from all the local merchants and that was priceless. The mini buss or van was new and comfortable. The last hour or so of the ride was to Luxor was a little rough due to the road, but it gave a trip a special feel. You get to see all the local areas before you get to Luxor. Overall I highly recommend this operator.

Very knowledgeable guide with street smarts. It was good to be in a small group of only five people, the ability to listen and ask question was the best since in a bigger group it’s harder to ask question and also to listen to what the guide says (all sites are pack with people)
