Again Hassan advised us which tombs were the most spectacular so that we most from our visit. We visited a wonderful stone mason's factory next and it was spectacular. Beautiful hand crafted pieces of all shapes and sizes. We were then invited to Hassan s family home and met his family. They were so hospitable and welcoming. We ate with them and the food was first class. It was a privilege to meet local Egyptian people and get an insight into their lives. Often when on holiday you are whisked from sight to sight by tour companies and you never get to meet local people or learn anything about their culture. Eldeak Tours have definitely struck upon a unique way of combining both the traditional historical tour with something that teaches you about contemporary Egypt and benefits local people, not the big tour operators. From there we went on a boat trip up the Nile before being taken home by Yusef. All in all this was a wonderful and enriching experience. We absolutely enjoyed our daytrip to Luxor. Everything went so well, the private shuttle picked us up at our jotel in Hurghada and drove us comfortable to Luxor where we met out tourguide Hussein Eldeak. Hussein did an amazing job, showed us all of the importent sights, teached us so well about egypts history and even took us to his home where we got an amazingly tasty egypt food plattern. This tour was a chance to experience Egyptian culture past and present. We are pleased to say that we had a wonderful time with our very knowledgeable tour guide, Hussien. Hussien’s family were easily contactable prior to the tour and he was able to communicate effectively with us throughout the trip. Thoughtfully, he was able to rearrange our trip a little as we were initially delayed getting to Luxor from the coast. We started off visiting the Valley of the Kings and this site did not disappoint. With 3 tombs included in the ticket price we were pointed to three wonderfully well preserved catacombs. The place itself was otherworldly and just a surreal experience to be a part of such history. Next up, we visited a local stone mason in the workers village, a nice local addition and if we’d had more luggage space, it would have been lovely to have bought some of the wears. The staff were not pushy at all and hugely hospitable. Then we visited my favourite sight, Luxor Temple - again, Hussien was able to present us with a vivid and expressive tour of this site. Then, and what I think is most special about this tour, we visited Hussien’s family home in order to partake in lunch.The meal consisted of local fresh produce; filling and exceptionally tasty. Finally, we were taken to the Nile to experience a motorboat tour of the river at sunset. This was such a calming and quiet experience to just take in how important this river is to the livelihood of those living in Luxor. Our kind driver then returned us safely to our El Gouna accommodation around 9pm. Highly recommended tour if you are looking to take in some of the incredible history that Luxor has to offer while also sampling some local culture.

We are so happy, having booked this unforgettable trip with Eldeak Tours. Starting with a breakfast in the desert, we visited Luxor Temple and the Valley of the Kings. What an amazing history, which Ahmed explained enthusiastically to us and our children. You can feel that he is a real Egyptian with every peace of his heart. We had a lot of questions and Ahmed had an answer for every single one. After the historical part, we had the chance to have lunch with his family at his house. This was absolutely incredible, we ave enjoyed it so much. Thanks to his wife for cookinga fantastic meal for us and of course, to the rest of the family for giving us a very warm welcome. Trip was completed by riding on a camel and shipping on the river Nile. It is no cliché, saying, we came as guests and left as friends... 🫶🫶🫶

We had a wonderful special day in Luxor with Ahmed. All in all this trip has been a day my family and me will never forget. As it was our first time in Egypt I was very excited about visiting Luxor. Seeing all these spectacular sights was great. Luxor temple and the Valley of the Kings were unbelievable. We were guided around by Ahmed, who was the most friendly and knowledgeable guide. We also got introduced to his family and had a delicious homemade dinner with them. My son loved it so much, could not stop. The day is long and packed but worth it. Starting from Makadi the journey is very long, but the transport was comfortable with a nice air conditioned car. Both drivers were very friendly and looked after us well. If you are looking for a special tour, just for you and your family/friends, pick this. You have your own guide plus car and boat, the whole day, just for you. The tour was so much fun! Especially seeing the historic tombs in the Valley of Kings and the ride on the Nile river. The highlight for me though was the lunch we had at Ahmeds house. We really got to see how Egyptians live and go about their day. Ahmed is an excellent guide and upon request showed us more of Luxor even though it wasn’t originally planned. 100% would recommend!

Organizing a family trip (6 adults and 4 kids) in Hurghada for the 70th birthday of my mum, I was looking for the best partner for a day trip in Louxor. I have searched the internet and contacted several agencies. From the very first contact with Ahmed (we called several times via WhatsApp), I have been impressed by his professionalism and his passion for his country and his job. I guess I can be considered as a very demanding client as I needed to be reassured my family would be safe and having an unforgettable time in Louxor. I have asked a lot of questions, took the time to assess all the options and Ahmed remained empathetic and patient. He even made it possible to have this tour in French, which was a premiere for him. And I was so right to finally trust Ahmed ! We were picked up on time with a clean private transfer. Everything was planned to the detail from visiting the valley of the kings a boat trip on the Nile river and to finish off a amazing dinner with the whole family. Everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming. Would definitely do this trip again. Next time we plan to go to Cairo with Ahmed.

I visited Luxor with my parents and it was an amazing day! It was a very long day but it was worth every minute!

It was a long but I was very glad I got up early. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about the ancient Egyptian history. The tour started at Luxor temple then we went the the valley of the kings. Launch was out of this world it was local style food at the tour guide house with his extended family, who were very hospitable even though it was Ramadan and only the children could eat. All in all I would defiantly recommend this trip

Today has been an unforgettable day. I cannot express truly, how special and wonderful our trip was. From the moment we spoke to Hussein, he was very honest and explained in detail our itinerary and what we would see and experience. We were shown the sites by Ahmed, who was the most attentive and knowledgeable guide. His English was impeccable and the information he gave us told the story of his Egyptian heritage and the amazing ancient people. For me personally it was the authenticity of this experience that you could not ever get with any other tour. We were given an insight into a typical home life when he invited us to join him and his lovely family for a genuine Egyptian lunch, which was so delicious and all sourced from his families farm. From the homemade cows cheese and the best aubergine I have ever tasted, this was another highlight of the day. The family were so inviting and friendly which made us feel very welcome. The Luxor temple and the Valley of the Kings were spectacular and my visions of what it would be like were exceeded. We were also given access to areas - because of the family connections not offered to all visitors. The day is packed but you are also treated to a relaxing boat tour of the stunning Nile in a traditional boat in the afternoon. From Hurghada the journey is long, but the transport was very comfortable with air conditioning and both the driver and his companion were friendly and looked after us well.
