Simple and effective! Basically you walk up a mountain after a thoughtful discussion with your guide on religion/spirituality. Then meet a few nuns at the top and enjoy a nice meal. Maybe they can't speak English but you enjoy the purity of a a simple but valuable experience.

We had the privilege of designing a trip to Nepal. Santosh of GAP-Nepal was our contact person. He was very patient with our changing ideas and really worked to find us a great trip. I would recommend this organization as a good place to organize a hassle-free vacation. The trip was very organized with experienced guides along the way. Bijaya met us at the airport with a big smile. She was knowledgeable and organized. Our Kathmandu guide, Subods, couldn’t have been better. His knowledge of the temples and culture made a great Day 2. We had a great stay at Hotel Buddha. We spent three days in Chitwan National Park at Park Safari Resort with Ram Bot and Kumah Lama as our guides. Both of these men were very connected to the local culture and loved to share. Ram had an extraordinary ability to hear and spot animals on our jungle trek. Kumah Lama was a real go-getter who has a drive to learn from you as well as teach you about Nepal. I highly recommend these two if you get to Chitwan. Our Annapurna trekking guide came to Chitwan to gather us up and settle us in Pokhara. We were surprised by an unexpected visit from Bijaya and Subods. Family! Sanu was a quiet soft spoken gem. He was saddled with two SLOW hikers but never failed to encourage us. “It’s no problem.” His knowledge of traditional uses of plants for medicine, building, animal fodder was a big plus. His helper Saran didn’t speak English but spoke volumes with his smile. Our tea-houses were oasis’s after long days of trekking. Sanu knew the owners and always seemed very happy to work with old friends. We adjusted our trek mid-stride ( It’s no problem) adding a rest day in the mountains-beautiful scenery and warm sunshine. Our last day trekking included a hike along a dusty dirt road. Sanu decided to call a Jeep! Perfect... Kuti Resort in Pokhara was very comfortable and in walking distance to the lake and shops. A flight back to Kathmandu for one last relaxing stroll through the Thamel shopping district and a delicious Dal Bhat. This was an eye-opening experience. All of the folks connected with GAP-Nepal went above and beyond. We can highly recommend the crew. I felt them really working to make this two weeks our vision.

So I've been volunteering for 2 months in Nepal and my mother came to visit me. Gap Nepal organized a whole trek for us to Poon Hill, everything was taking care of. Even if I got sick during the trek, they were super reactive and made it really easy for me and we were able to finish the trek in full health!

This company arranged everything for me! I had one week travelling from Kathmandu to Pokhara to go trekking, and I did not have to worry once! They planned everything for me from Kathamandu and back home again including: 5 days of trekking, meals, accomondation, hotel booking, transportion, and meeting with guide. Everything was very well planned, and was the reason my trip went absolutely amazing and problemfree. Thank You for very much for a high quality of planning, it made me enjoy the trip 100%!

Nepal’s infrastructure is uhmmm still quite challenging :) so what you need is a travel planning and support team who are fully engaged and always thinking one step ahead - Which is what you have here. This is organisation at a level I haven’t experienced anywhere outside Japan, accompanied by great and genuine hospitality and enthusiasm. I was solo on a custom hiking itinerary. Tremendous experience. Definitely going with these guys again !

We spend a whole month in Nepal and the Gap Nepal team helped us organize every single aspect of the trip. One of our most important criteria was getting to know Nepal off the beaten track, and they made an excellent plan to show us every bit between China and India: we had the excitement of Holi Festival, luxurious stays in the jungle around Chitwan, a week at social projects with marginated communities, and of course, the amazing Langtang Helambu trek, our travel had everything! Thank you very much and see you next time!

My friend and I had decided to go on a once in a lifetime trip to Nepal to learn more about Buddhism and the way of the Nepali people. We had no idea of where to even begin but what an amazing experience it was to have GAP Nepal as our tour organizer. The trip they planned was executed with precision to the last detail ensuring we had the most incredible time. We could not have asked for a better put together itinerary! Simply put it was an incredible experience that we could not have managed had it not been for GAP Nepal. A big thank you to Anish and the team who were so hospitable and made us feel so welcome as did the rest of the Nepali people!!! Thank you

Hi all, my name is Upasana. So few weeks earlier, i visited Pokhara, Nepal with my friends. Initially we did not have enough information and suggestions to fill up our trip with best possible experience. Then we stumble upon GAP Nepal community on based on their great reviews, we approached them for all possible guidance. All i would say, GAP Nepal is all you need to have a trip of a lifetime. From start to finish this was a once in a lifetime incredible trip! they guided us for all amazing trekking routes and how we can discover Pokhara with most authentic way under feasible budget. From lodging to all the adventurous activities, they made the trip full of kudos and sparkling beauty of the place. GAP Nepal is very understanding and helpful. We were able to relax and enjoy the experience without the stress of trying to navigate the streets. they guide you the way you want/need and as per your comfort level, whether you are with your family or friends or as an individual. Group even helps you with language barriers so that you can communicate with locals and try local yet popular food stops and local places. they taught us traditional things, gave interesting information regarding local culture, they even offered any physical help if we need. They even fulfilled our bike riding wish on those mountain roads which was one of the most thrilling experience we had including camping in the lap of mountains. in case of any medical emergency, they are also prepped with required medical help. they also made us enjoy local folk dance experience. They exceeded our expectations in all sense. i highly recommend GAP Nepal to visit Nepal and it's mountains. Thank you for making our visit absolutely incredible. a huge shout out and Cheers to them and keep up the good work !! :)

During 18-30 April 2017, I organised my very first group tour to Nepal with GAP Nepal. It was fantastic experience both for me as an organiser, and a great experience for my group! We had excellent programme exploring the natural, cultural and spiritual beauty of Nepal, visited main Hindu and Buddhist temples in Kathmandu and Bhaktapur immersing into ancient spiritual and cultural traditions and gaining lots of knowledge and insights about the practices. We had beautiful opportunities to indulge on amazing nature of Nepal in Chitwan National Park and get very close encounter with various animals. Additionally we had two amazing day trekking and exploring the wonders of Nepali nature but also encountering wonderful local people during our hikes. We had our relaxing break in beautiful Pokhara enjoying stunning nature, early morning sunrise and viewing Himalayan tops, shopping and generally taking in that wonderful atmosphere of Pohkara. Before this tour I organised fundraising to help the children in a Tibetan refugee village near Pokhara and my friends at GAP Nepal were extremely helpful during the shopping in Kathmandu and also delivering the items for the children to Pokhara, without their support and help I would find it very difficult to organise that logistically. But generally I have to express my gratitude to GAP Nepal and its wonderful staff for making this tour smooth, trouble-free and easy! What a joy to work with a super friendly and professional team of people which are able to resolve immediately any issue without any stress and with great ease. I cherish and greatly value their friendliness, warm welcome and excellent organisational skills and look forward to work in the future with more tours!

During my five week internship in Nepal, GAP Nepal planned a weekend trip for me to go to Pokhara. They suggested many good attractions for me to go to such as the Bat Cave and the World Peace Pagoda. They took care of all the details; not only did they book my bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara but they even drove me to the bus themselves. GAP Nepal even helped me to arrange a Bungee Jump! Overall my experience with GAP Nepal was amazing. They were helpful, professional, and exceeded my expectations.

After being for 4 weeks in a school near Bakhtapur as a volunteer our friends from GAP Nepal organized a wonderful planed week for me and my friend in Pokhara. Thanks to them we were able to visit the best places in our short journey and do all the things we wanted to do (some trekking, paragliding, sightseeing, hiking, visit the city itself... ) all in just one week. We were very happy with the services ofered and the way they treated us. We will repeat for sure next time:)
