Katrina was amazing, informative and delightful. We were lucky enough to have her on what became a private food tour for the two of us. This was exactly what we were hoping for. We got to leisurely taste the food of Munich and hear the history of the food. Katrina was attentive to our needs and likes and easily catered to what we wanted without compromising the tour. We highly recommend this tour. This tour is so personal and interesting. We enjoyed the whole afternoon. The market area is amazing and the food choices are traditional and excellent. We had a lot of fun and good laughs. This is the original one. This is the one to take.

The weather didn't favor us on the day of our food tour with Loki but we hardly noticed thanks to his knowledge of delicious foods and drinks and where to get them. After watching the clock at the Rathaus we started the food tour with a "silly game" which was a great icebreaker. Among the foods were at least two different kinds of sausages, fresh sauerkraut, potato salad and of course breads and pastry. The hot honey wine was a new and warming experience we enjoyed with two kinds of cheeses and fruit. All along the way we learned about the history of Munich. We finished the tour with full stomachs and a little more knowledgeable about the city. Loki was everything you could ask for in a guide, a good teacher and representative of his adopted home and a whole lot of fun.

Great tour! Katrina is an excellent tour guide and so much fun. She provided some history of Munich and the market while we ate and drank a wide variety of local specialties. Since everything was located in/around the market, we easily found a few of our favorites again later in our trip. We’ve done many food tours, and this was one of our favorites.

Excellent food tour! Lochie was an entertaining and informative guide. He provided a great overview of Munich, Bavarian and German foods and a lot of general background and history as well. A really excellent experience with interesting and tasty food selections-- highly recommend!

We truly enjoyed our food tour with Kat. She was fun and engaging and gave us lots of information about the local food scene. You will not leave hungry so be sure to come on an empty stomach. We would highly recommend this food tour.

Wonderful experience! We had the chance to try typical Bavarian food, which maybe you would miss out on while in Munich. Katrina was very friendly and knowledgeable, easy to talk to about history or just basic things while we were walking around in the lovely market. Highly recommended! P.S. We love trying food tours wherever we go. This is hands down one of the best food tours we have ever been on. Katrina was a fantastic guide. The tour combines tasty food with a bit of history and traditions of the area. Bring your appetite! You will not leave hungry. We tried a combination of sweet and savory menu items and the portions were plentiful. It was great to have a knowledgeable guide to walk through the market with. 10/10 Highly Recommend!

Katrina at BlackBook Tours was fantastic! We met in the Marienplatz where Katrina provided us information we didn’t know regarding the clock. From there we ventured into Viktualienmarkt where we had so much amazing food and fun conversations! You can tell Katrina takes a lot of pride and passion about her tours. Highly recommend! Next time I want to do the ghost tour!!
