The group size was to big. The tour guide Andres was super nice and very accommodating. We had no information that the walk from the Mezcal tasting to the Lucha Libre Arena takes 50 minutes.

With a great guide like Andres leading us around Alameda Central, schooling us on Lucha Libre and teaching us about the wonderful world of mezcal, we couldn't have had a better time. Andres brought a lot of passion for lucha libre and was really helpful translating our bartender's explanations of the different mezcal flavors. He was also really knowledgeable about the city, easy to chat with and, of course, taught us some really helpful Spanish phrases. Definitely worth checking out!

Our guide, Andres, was wonderful and did a great job of teaching us about the history of Luche Libre. Also fun and informative was the mezcal tasting. The whole evening was a blast!

This tour was the highlight of our trip to Mexico! We had a fantastic tour with Andres-trying mezcal, learning about Luche Libre and watching a Luche Libre show. I would highly recommend booking this tour for a fun night out in Mexico City!!

We met Andres at meeting point and walked to bar for mezcal tasting. The tasting itself was great, tried five different types of mezcal and they were all delicious. Got an extra wee bit of your favourite too. Some people got food at the bar. We then walked to the arena, on the way we stopped various times for Andres to explain about the history, culture etc around Lucha Libra. Andres was very knowledgeable and interesting to listen too. We also got our own masks to keep. At the arena the Lucha libra was brilliant, went straight to our seats and ordered beers. The show was very entertaining! All different types of people, so I would say it is family friendly as we saw children with other groups. Our seats were great too, next to where the Luchadors entered and exited. Once show was done Andres took us us to a quieter spot to get Ubers home, and waited with us all to make sure we were safe. Definitely worth the money. We had so much fun and would do it again!

Andres is an excellent guide and very personable. We had an amazing time, even better than expected, and really enjoyed the cultural information Andres shared throughout the night and his guide style. We spent about an hour tasting 5 mezcals which was very fun and “prepped” us for lucha libre, then another 2 hours watching the show, which was incredible. It’s about an hour walking total, with multiple stops along the way. Highly recommended!!

We had a great time! Our guide, Andres, was fun and informative. The mezcal tasting was wonderful and we learned so much about the history and process of how it’s made. The Lucha Libre matches were awesome! Highly recommend this tour!

Amazing! Oscar was a fantastic tour guide. The mezcal tasting was great. The place we went to was very accommodating, especially when people in our group asked for food. I even got to try crickets (which were very tasty). I learned a lot about what makes different mezcals taste different from one another. The lucha libre portion was so fun! The servers were so attentive and beer and snacks were easy to come by. We stayed to the end and Oscar very kindly walked us back to our hotel. I would 100% recommend this tour.

Very fun evening of mezcal tasting and Lucha Libre with Andres. We chose this tour as it was one of the few I found that takes kids. Attending with a group really added to the fun of the experience (compared to a private tour which seemed like our only other option as a family with kids). They offered slushies for our boys (ages 7 and 10) during the mezcal tasting. We enjoyed the event so much more with the history and context that Andres provided before and during the show. I was a bit nervous about getting an Uber after the event but Andres took us all to a less crowded area a few blocks away after the show and waited until every person had gotten into their Uber. Lucha Libre is such a fun family experience and was the highlight of our boys first visit to Mexico City!

The mezcal was delightful, and got everybody in the right mood for our experience. Andres was hilarious and very knowledgeable. We felt like we knew what to look for, and even how to cheer with proper form. It was a blast. If we return to Mexico City, we will for sure do it again.

We had the best time on our tour with Andres! He was friendly and entertaining and knew a ton about lucha libre. Taking a tour was definitely the way to go- watching lucha libre without knowing anything about it wouldn’t have been nearly as fun! We also loved the mescal tasting ahead of time. Andres walked us through a beautiful park to a cute mescal bar where a very knowledgeable bartender poured us the mescal and taught us a ton. We also got snacks and drinks for our kids. (12 and 14). There is a lot of walking (to the arena) and it was a long night, so be prepared for that. There were 6 of us- kids to grandparents- and we all had the best time with Andres!

Excellent time with Andrés as our guide. We took 2 kids (9 and 11) with us. Andrés accomadated them throughout and got them really excited about lucha libre before the matches. We had great seats in the stadium and a really fun time overall.

This was a wonderful tour which combined an opportunity to learn about artisanal mezcal from a very knowledgeable mezcal sommelier and then enjoy the unique experience of Lucha Libre. The two experiences were brought together in the best way by the convivial and expert guidance of Andres. His knowledge and experience were apparent but his humour and obvious love of Lucha Libre were what made the difference in making our dive into Lucha Libre so unforgettable!

Could not have been easier. Our guide, Andres and his assistant Oscar, were professional and enthusiastic. Andres shared the awesome historical background on Lucha Libre, after an informative mezcal tasting. Andres even taught us a few choice words in Spanish, to shout during the matches. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour!

Worth the experience and time! Safe meetup location. Pedro, Cosme, and Santos are amazing. They explained every activity: amazing tacos, Mazcal tasting, walking tour and of course Luche Libra!

This was an amazing experience with an even more amazing guide, Andres. We happened to go on the day of the International Women’s Day and the streets were flooded with people. He communicated with us early on and helped us navigate the crowds. When we reached our destination, he was there waiting for us and the other couples and groups. We thoroughly enjoyed all the people that we were with! There was a group of guys from Texas, a group of friends from Seattle, Washington, a group of girlfriends who recently graduated from college, a couple from England and us. Everyone was very, very friendly and active in the conversations. I think the most memorable thing for me, other than the fun that we all had, was that Andres was especially attentive to everyone. For me specifically, he could tell that I struggled a bit to walk (I have a bad knee) and he continually checked on me without alerting the others that I might be having difficulty. Simply put, Andreas was a gracious host, answered all of our questions and made the trip very exciting, informational, and fun.
