Enjoyed riding with David in spite of the long day of 14 hours trip to see Lower Antelope Canyon. Lot of variety of snacks and drinks offered the whole trip. David cares for his guests and made sure everyone is having time the entire trip. It nothing to do with Viator but still like to mention that the guide antelope canyon rushing too much and do not care about the guests. It seems all he cared was some how to complete the one hour tour as fast as he can so we were there only 45 minutes. This is my 2nd trip to the canyon, so I see the difference between this time canyon tour guide and the last time. Last time the tour guide took time to explain about canyon history etc and offer to take pictures all that. This time, the guide did not offer to take pic and even when asked if he would take pick of us, he said there is not much to take pic and kept pushing people to move fast, that's all cared keep rushing guests but nothing else . In a nut shell for the amount they charge as entrance fees for the canyon, wish they hire tour guides who have some basic customer care attitude.

As a travel agent, I read countless reviews looking for the best excursions. I chose this one because it encompassed two major bucket list items for me, it was a small group, and the reviews were really good. Viator gave clear instructions, as did @Maxtours, regarding pickup and the day’s itinerary. From the moment we got in the VERY nice and comfortable van, our guide Orlin, did a wonderful job explaining what our day would be like. We stopped twice for breaks and a huge muffin was provided to us, along with ice coffee bottles, sodas, water, and chips. Once at Antelope Canyon we had time to walk around before our tour with Colby, our Navajo guide. Instructions are clear.. no bags and no video. Pictures are allowed but not on metal stairs because of safety. It was a fun hour weaving our way through the canyon getting hundreds of unbelievable pictures (use warm vivid filter). Orlin was there waiting for us, after tour was over, with a delicious warm chicken sandwich. Next stop was Horseshoe Bend where we had an hour. It was a 15 min walk down to it and then back up. Breathtaking! Later we had a fun surprise stop at Glen Canyon Dam! It rivals Hoover! Amazing. On the way back we had two stops again. Orlin was an extremely professional, kind, and fun guide. I highly recommend this trip with Viator and Max Tours and Orlin!

Perfect option for a solo business traveler to get out of Las Vegas. The locations were amazing! More importantly, this was a well organized tour to make these locations accessible from Las Vegas in a single day.

The trip was awesome! Antelope Canyon is a must see! The Native American tour guide was so informative and entertaining and he took wonderful pictures. Horseshoe Bend was also very cool. Both are breathtaking in their own way. Lake Powell was good but not one the same level. I’m glad we didn’t spend. A lot of time there.

Our guild, April was enthusiastic and helpful. She was knowledgeable about the area and told us stories about the area as we drove from Las Vegas to the Canyon. The drive was beautiful then the tour of the Antelope Canyon was fabulous. I would recommend Max Tours and April in particular.

The canyon itself was definitely the high point of the whole experience. It was completely worth the long drive to get there. Our guide, Orlin, was helpful and patient and the group was compatible. I'm glad we decided to book this tour.

This was a fantastic tour and our guide/driver April was amazing which made the day a wonderful experience (even in the not so kind weather of gale force winds).

The tour was pleasant, and the tour guide Liz also made it comfortable. The long hour drives didn't feel too much of a pain because the seats were comfortable as well.

This excursion was amazing for the views and the pictures, however people booking should know that the 13hr trip is very little actual exploring and 9hrs or more in the car. We spent approximately 1hr at antelope, 1 hr at horseshoe bend (only 20 mins of which was actual exploring) and a brief 10-15 minute stop at Lake Powell. Again, amazing views and places, just might be better to do from a closer location or spending more than a day.

From the very start when we were picked up, the whole day was excellent. Picking the small group was the best option, easier to bond with other travellers to share our experience. April our tour guide was beyond excellent, she kept us informed on what would happen, how long we would spend at stops, how often rest breaks were coming. First one was after 1 hour, then 2, then a further 1. It takes a long time to get to the canyon but the scenery on the journey is spectacular. Arriving at the canyon, we met our Navajo guide who took us down into the canyon. That was an experience in itself. You really don’t believe you will be climbing down so far under the ground. It involves small ladders, so you need to be quite able. Some of the passageways are narrow too, as is the climb back up. We then moved on to Horseshoe bend for more spectacular views, then driving back with a short stop at Lake Powell. We had a small breakfast, light sandwich lunch and you could help yourselves to snacks and drinks anytime we stopped. I highly recommend this tour, it will remain in your memory forever.

Firstly, be warned this is a very long day, much of which is spent travelling. You will be tired by the end. However, we would not have missed it and it was the highlight of our trip to Las Vegas. We took hundreds of photos, any of which could be framed as artwork for our home. The scenery at Lake Powell, Glen Canyon Dam and Horseshoe Bend is spectacular, but Antelope Canyon will exceed your expectations. Photos just can’t compare with your own eyes. The trip was well organised and our guide and driver, Orlin, took very good care of us. The drive was smooth, with several comfort stops and plenty of drinks and snacks. Lunch was a hot chicken sandwich which we ate at the picnic tables at Antelope Canyon. There were 13 in our group so the minibus was a little cramped, but that didn’t prevent anyone, except for Orlin, from falling asleep on the way back!
