Wow, what a fun experience! Our tour host was fun, knowledgeable and interesting. We got to enjoy a family run winery in a unique setting in Vouvray and a modern winery with a lot of equipment in Mont St Louis!

Simon was a very knowledgeable guide. Two good wineries - first part of the visit at Vouvray cave where we were wandering in the dark with just a phone light was maybe a little odd, but it improved quickly from there. Very generous selection of wines.

Vincent was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. We enjoyed our day and would highly recommend this experience.

The tour was fantastic, and Vincent was very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. We enjoyed the two wineries we visited and all the wine we tasted! The cheese and charcuterie boards were really tasty. He even provided a vegetarian friendly snack to one of the people on the tour. I was very impressed with the quality of the wines. We had a fantastic time on the tour with Vincent. He took us to two family run vinyards and was incredibly knowledgably about the wine, the region and the history of the wine makers we visited. Vincent was great at encouraging us to have our own opinions about the wine and we really appreciated his acceptance of our limited wine knowledge. He was a great guide that I would really recommend.

Vincent is a fun and knowledgeable guide! As beginners, we felt the scope of the tour was perfect, and generous portions of wine and cheese were provided for the tastings. Tip: bring a jacket since the wine caves are chilly.

Vincent was a superb guide. His knowledge of wine making, wine and the region was excellent. His was keen to share his knowledge and experience and hisenthusiasm was infectious. I had been in contact with Vincent in advance of our trip. He was very responsive and went out of his way to create a tour specific to our wants/needs. We were met at the train station by our tour guide, Aurélie, who was just delightful! We really enjoyed spending our day with her. She was a great tour guide! She was very knowledgeable about the Chateau de Chenonceau and it’s history. We learned so much from her. And we appreciated the picture book/binder that she brought along to reinforce the information that she shared. We also appreciated all of the information she shared along the way about the surrounding Loire Valley area. Aurélie was organized, kind, thoughtful, helpful, and attentive to our needs. We enjoyed her sense of humor, too. We absolutely loved the winery tour in Chinon! We had so much fun with our group. The tour of the cellar and the wine tastings were so memorable. We all agreed it was one of the most enjoyable days of our time in Paris.

In advance of our trip we corresponded with Vincent (owner) and he helped us plan a fantastic half day tour. He was responsive and creative with how we spend our time in Vouvray. On the day of the tour we were picked up by Emmanuel at our accomodation and had a fantastic time. As we drove he told us about Loire Valley and terroir and we stopped in vineyards to observe the harvest and learn about the viniculture and viticulture of Vouvray. We then tasted at two wineries. The highlight was the wine and cheese tasting by Emmanuel himself in a wine cave. I highly recommend Vinoloire.

After a miscommunication about the tour start time, Vincent personally went out of his way to accommodate us and gave us a personal private tour. The tour itself was excellent and we learned a lot about the entire process of wine making, from growing of the grapes to the different methods of fermentation to the bottling. Each wine we tried was delightful, and Vincent clearly explained the process behind it. He was happy to accommodate our tastes and preferences and kindly answered any questions we had. It was really a special experience and I’m so happy we decided to do it.

Pierre was a wonderful host on this Loire Valley wine tour. Perfect tour for the wine novice or any new to French wines. Great local knowledge of the Chenin wines.
