The views were absolutely stunning, we took a lot of beautiful photos. Rod, our driver guide was funny, friendly, professional and knowledgeable, doing his best to make our ride hospitable. All in all we enjoyed the trip very much.

The trip was awesome! I learned so much about Scotland, its history and the stories associated with the views. Our guide was so knowledgeable! And funny and kind! It made the trip great! We would definitely this tour in our next visit to Edinburgh!

This is the perfect tour to see highlights of the highlands. Michael was the perfect tour guide. Our favorite part was feeding the highland cows. They are so cute!

The view points were beautiful as expected. However, the journey for us started on a sour note. We reached the pick up point well in time, our tickets were scanned by a lady and she asked us to board the bus. As we were getting in, someone shouted and asked us whether we have tickets assuming we were getting on the bus without tickets!!! We replied yes and that they have been checked. He then said something which we did not catch. Before start of journey, same man entered bus and were counting people. As he passed us, he told us loudly "this is my bus, this is not your bus" for everyone else to hear. We were not clear at all what we had done wrong for him to show so much attitude and rudeness towards us. But it did spoil our entire day. He was none other than our driver and guide Michael (bus no. OU24 ZTE). Also, we stopped for dinner at a place where there was only one restaurant with a fixed menu of 4-5 items for us passengers. So there wasn't much choice for dinner.

Our first time in the Highlands, and we had a fantastic day in beautiful weather. Ryan was a brilliant guide - funny, super knowledgeable and a great storyteller. We covered a huge amount of ground in one day with lots of photo opportunities and scenery on the drives in between.

My husband and I had a great experience! Our tour guide Martin was awesome, he had so many stories to tell and was quite the comedian. It was time well spent on the bus listening to Scottish history and tales, and time well spent off the bus in towns in the highlands/ on our way up.

We showed up, on time, they said either people had snuck on and/or they overbooked. The "Manager" called us, yelled at us for booking on Trip Adviser's Viator, and hung up. Our dreams were squashed and they made a refund beyond diffucult.

David was a wonderful tour guide, he added a personal touch to the tour all the way and the 12 hour day went by in no time with plenty of stops and Scottish history to fill in the gaps. Thought the stops were short, they gave me a taste of all the great location's the highlands have to offer and I’m already itching to return as soon as I can!

It was a long day but one of the highlights was feeding carrots to the hairy coo family. Our guide Michael brought carrots for all of us feed them. The Scottish mascot has a place in my heart after that afternoon.

It was a great day! Martin our guide was fantastic! He used a lot of humour while relaying stories about the history along the way, which made it very engaging to listen to and helped with the time on the bus. He was very focused on stopping for photo opportunities, which was very much appreciated because the views were stunning. We loved the tour although if you do even a quick lunch and the boat tour at Loch Ness you have practically no time to walk around, which isn’t great. An extra 30 min at Loch Ness would have made the trip perfect.

What I thought would be me dragging my brothers along for this tour ended up being the highlight of our trip for all of us. The sights we saw and stops we made were fantastic. Michael was also very funny and educational. We only wished we had chosen to sit closer to the front to talk with him more!

This was a great tour for a quick overview of the Scottish highlands. I did not think I would enjoy the Loch Ness boat ride but that was very interesting and worthwhile. We really wanted to see the hairy cows and the driver did stop at a place at the end of the tour where we could see them up close. Overall, we did not have a lot of time to do a longer tour so this one was worthwhile. Other reviewers mention how their tour guide won't stopped talking but in our case I wish ours would tell us more about the history of Scotland.

Trip through the highlands was lovely, albeit dependent on whether or not the bus could find parking at lookout spots. Which side of the bus you were seated on also made a difference (left is the best for the trip north). A little heavy on the time constraints at each location. We really had to rush for food in Loch Ness if we wanted to make the ferry, for instance. Unfortunately, the worst bit was that our guide was terribly ill. He tried to rally his spirits & did a fine job for how long of a day it was, but he was definitely too sick to be at work that day. There was a lot of coughing. He was contagious and wore no mask. I ended up coming down with the same symptoms soon after the tour, which close to ruined the last two days of my trip. I don't know if it was a staffing issue as both tour busses seemed well full, but he should have felt able to stay home that day. Tour itself is serviceable for those who do not want to rent a car or book overnight accommodations for a full day at Loch Ness.

This 15.5 hour day is just too long for the sights seen. Many “drive bys” where not much is seen, and alternatively many stops that aren’t worth stopping at. Compounding this was the bus temperature. It was a beautiful day in Scotland, 65-73 degrees F. However, the bus air con wasn’t working (though told that it was). We sweated in back of bus for 10 of the 14.5 hours. And just when things would cool off, we would stop at another not-so-relevant stop. There are multiple buses that go out each day. We were assigned a 20 passenger van/bus. Seats are designed for those under 6 feet tall. If over that height (2 in our group were) the contours of seat/headrest make it very uncomfortable for all 15.5 hours. We also took the optional boat tour on Loch Ness. All in all, recommend the train to Stirling Castle (1 hour from Edinburgh) and find any Loch (closer to Edinburgh) to take a boat ride on if desired. Our driver/guide was very nice.
