Mila took us to truly local places we never would have found on our own - we were the ONLY tourists - and looked after us with care while sharing interesting commentary about the local culture. Aside from the AMAZING food, my favorite part of Mila's tour was her conversation, information, and making me feel comfortable and safe! She made me and the 2 other tourists feel so welcome. She whisks you off to real hidden gem type, and clean places! I've never felt more comfortable trying new food before than with Mila. I'm always shy and unsure of what and how to order food in a foreign country as it can be stressful when it's busy. She did all the ordering for us, helped us cross busy Cairo streets, and gave us lots of advice. The tahini sauce was probably my favorite dip of the night, as well as the Molokhia (green spinach-like sauce/soup). The Hawashi was also fantastic. I highly recommend Mila's food tour, especially if it's your first day in Egypt, like it was for me! Unforgettable!Mila gave a great tour and really showed me some authentic places in Cairo to get good food. I had a blast talking with her about the culture and restaurants. Highly recommend!
