Great evening with strangers that felt like friends. Jeff and Johan did a great job to great an atmosphere that facilitated people opening up and enjoying beer and good food. Jeff was very knowledgeable about the selected beers and the meal put together by Johan was absolutely fantastic and went well with the beers. Felt like I could have sat there all night drinking. Definitely recommend

Although we booked early, a group of 26 was also booked for the same evening. They told us usually groups are about 20 so they had to adapt. We had 5 beers and plates. Sounded like the usual was 6. The food was regional and very good. Not everyone liked everything, but it was tasty food and an enjoyable experience. Fortunately the group we sat with were very friendly and we had a good time. The noticeable drawback was the small beer samples. . They were similar to wine size and we felt another inch in the glass would have been better.

Amazing experience! Jeff was charming and knowledgeable. We tasted several unique and interesting Austrian beers. The chef paired each beer with an outstanding taste. Plenty of special beer and tasty food. The best amazingly apple strudel ever. A great idea of a seated foodie tour; easy on the feet. Cool cooking school location.

I would highly recommend this evening to anyone who likes good beer and good food. It was fun to do something so unique. Jeff’s passion and knowledge of for Austrian beer made the evening interesting and entertaining. Martin, the chef, created food that paired wonderfully with the beer chosen. The food was amazing! The beer brought out each unique taste. If you love beer this is a must do in Salzburg.

The best way to discover Austrian specialties! The dishes are sophisticated and delicious, the beers are tasty and very original, and the explanations that go with them are top-notch. I really enjoyed it and I definitely recommend trying it while in Salzburg!

Fantastic experience!! It's been several days and everyone in my group is still raving about this. I suspect we will talk about this for years to come when we reminisce about our trip to Salzburg. Highly recommend this to anyone regardless of how much they like beer. The food prepared by Selen was amazing and was paired perfectly with Austrian beers. Jeff's knowledge of beer and its chemistry with food was impressive. I even drank several beers I would not normally drink because of the food it was paired with. Many thanks to Jeff and Selen for a memorable evening. I think everyone in my group would make the trek to Salzburg again just for this experience!

Had a great evening tasting the excellent beer selection alongside Jeff's thorough knowledge of the subject along with an excellent menu provided by Johann, most of which came from his own garden. Highly recommended if you want to do something a little different and away from the usual tourist spots.

Both Johan ( superb chef) and Jeff (very knowledgeable beer guide) make of this incredible sensorial experience a unique and personalised activity that can be enjoyed by everyone, ranging from those who are not used to beer, to beer enthusiasts. Goes without saying that the food course is Austrian and prepared witj seasonal ingredients.

What an evening! I did this with a group of work colleagues and it was so much fun! I am not even a fan of beer (or so I thought) until we did the beer tasting! Each course of food was complemented with a suitable beer, and back story of the beer. Amazing food, great beer, new knowledge and an all round lovely atmosphere! I will definitely do this again.
