Amazing day. The tour with Peter Hooton was fantastic. We saw many places that would not be on other tours. Stories from the The swinging 60s through to Britpop in the 90s. Even covers the 00s. Peters personal stories were my favourites though. Tour finished off with drinks and more stories from Peter in the pub. Best tour of the city.

As someone who is from Liverpool I learnt so much in this tour that I didn’t know. Pete was a great guide who was very knowledgeable and brought Liverpool’s music history to life. Thoroughly recommend the tour.

Excellent tour which I'd highly recommend. Peter has a vast knowledge of the Liverpool music scene to share and a multitude of great stories. Although the tour does touch on the Beatles, it is far more about exploring the post-Merseybeat music scene and boy is there a lot of it. The number of perfectly ordinary looking bars which have a rich musical heritage was astounding. The only bad thing I can say about the tour is that it made me wish I could timetravel in order to make the most of my new found knowledge!

The Tour was very interesting and deep inside the Manchester postpunk and Madchester Rave szene with any funny sidekicks. I definitly recommend this tour.

Really enjoyable music tour with many great anecdote's! Even though we were local to Manchester it was really interesting to hear about the places we had been in our youth.

This was a rare opportunity to see and hear some great stories about Liverpool music history. Lots of fascinating stops which are off the tourist trail with some amazing insights. If you love your music, this tour is not to be missed.

Fantastic afternoon spent with Peter Hooton. He led myself and a dozen others on an afternoon filled with fascinating facts and information linked to his home city of Liverpool. Covering numerous local bands from the Beatles to the Bunnymen and lots in between interspersed with anecdotes, good humour and a musical soundtrack to back it up, we couldn’t have been in better company. Smashing fella and a bonus well earned pint at the end of our tour with photo opportunities and a lovely keepsake. Highly recommended-thanks Peter x

If you love music; particularly Liverpool music this is the tour for you. As you’d expect there’s a rich vein of The Beatles running through the tour; but the stories here won’t be found on any of The Beatles’ tours. I’m a big fan of The Farm and was lucky enough to be guided by their lead singer Peter Hooton. He shared some brilliant stories from the band and the Liverpool music scene which strayed into football, fashion and fisticuffs. Pete delivers his stories with deep knowledge, passion and a heavy helping of mirth. The bands and individuals mentioned in the tour are as varied as they are surprising. The glass collector turned singer was particularly amusing. There’s some hidden gems on the tour and it’s quite sad to see some of the significant buildings that have fallen into disrepair. There’s so many genres of music covered; there’s something for everyone here. Highly, highly recommend. Please release the playlist used on the tour!

Nearly 3 hours flew by. Information, stories and anecdotes from Keith Mullin who is a wealth of information, can answer all questions and makes it fun. Learnt so much about the music history of the city. Highly recommended

Loved everything about this tour! Loved the passion of the guide (Keith) and his memories. It was dynamic and Keith was inclusive and interested. The tour had momentum and felt like we had gone back to days past and I felt a connection to my own past. It was a great experience and I would recommend to anyone.

Really interesting day out and Pete was a great host. Some great stories that were not too Beatles heavy and those that were about the Fab 4 were more obsure stuff. Loads of unusual tales more from his(and mine) era. Great pint and chat at the end of the day.

Fabulous with Peter Hooton As liverpool residents, we loved the tour as it was a very different side of the liverpool music scene And one that we remember ourselves Peter was fantastic....full of amazing stories. Information, history and we loved the music at each stop Thought this was a great touch Great little stop at the end of the tour too when we stopped for a drink and just sat and chatted away Peter was a great host, Friendly, chatty and so very interesting We loved it and intend to book again with friends Cheers Pete...we had a ball

Really enjoyed the music tour around Liverpool led by Keith Mullins from the Farm. His knowledge and passion about music and Liverpool was amazing. There was a max of 12 people in the group, we could all hear what he had to say and ask questions along the way. Liverpool has a long history of music and it is still paving the way for new artists today. I would definitely recommend it!!

Fantastic and unique insight into the culture of the city. Would highly recommend to anyone from the city or further afield.
