Cláudia was so knowledgeable and was able to fit so much history in a short period of time without it feeling overwhelming. I learned a lot and feel like I am able to dive deeper now that I have a starting point. She also gave great suggestions, including where to try ginja. This tour is the perfect way to start out your trip in Lisbon.

The tour by Diego was fantastic! We got to visit lots of landmarks in the city center and learn about Portugal's history, but in a very interesting and fun way thanks to Diego. Very recommended!

Excellent guides that are knowledgeable and friendly. Walking tours of Lisbon with a guide that is basically free. Sometimes there is a minimal booking charge, and a tip expected. However they spend a bit more than 2 -2.5 hours as you walk all over Lisbon. Well worth a tip.

Our tour guide Claudia was super friendly, hilarious and knowledgeable. She gave us amazing insights on the city and took us through most of the famous sites and buildings that you would expect to cover on a trip to Lisbon. The tour operates on gratuity which is an interesting concept because you pay for what you think the tour is worth! Would highly recommend doing this especially on the first day of your trip to Lisbon!

We really enjoyed this tour. One of the couples we were with had done the same trip last year and wanted us to see it with them this trip. Joao was fantastic. 5 stars. He knows so many details about the history and culture of Lisbon and made the tour for n and energetic.

Nina was an excellent guide --- she was engaging, funny, articulate and articulated well so she could be heard over street noise [and other guides!]. Nina made sure everyone was able to keep with the group, covered the area well and wove together history and interesting cultural facts. As a bonus, it was the day before 50th Anniversary of the Carnation Revolution of 25 Abril 1974, so we saw a lot of the city's preparations for the celebration. Highly recommend the tour as a 'first day in town' option to get oriented, for interesting narrative and some exercise.

Great tour with Joāo, who is very knowledgeable and clearly loves his city. He gave us lots of historical information, especially about the 1755 earthquake, and of course 20th century political history, as our tour was on April 25. I chose to do this tour the morning after I arrived, which turned out to be a good decision, because João was full of tips about what was really worth seeing, and which local dishes to try, etc. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to get an overall impression of Lisbon before visiting specific sites.
